I replaced all the doors and windows with a Farley brand.purchased through Home Depot. A huge mistake! The windows (double hung tilt) dont slide properly and are very difficult to lock. But the biggest problem are the flimsy screens. They are so warped that you cant open the windows without letting in any and every insect. I called them.repeatedly.and suffice to say that their customer service is not helpful. Oh and the patio door no longer opens. This company doesnt oven deserve a 1 star rating.

This is the worst experience I could ever have. The day after they were installed the weatherstripping failed on both windows. Thank you Home Depot Canada for recommending this junk to me. I hate these windows and I do not like this company. It took them four months to get back to me and there suggested fix failed now I'll probably have to wait another four months. Thanks again Home Depot Canada for your recommendation

The Farley casement window I ordered at HD does not close properly. The latch gets caught on the frame as you close it. It was installed level and square with no pressure points from shims on the frame. We tried removing it and reinstalling it, no luck. Even when it wasn't installed and sitting on the floor, it still catches on the frame. Unfortunately, we couldn't return the window as it would back up all the other trades to complete the project on time.
These windows are poor quality. If your project is time sensitive or you expect a better quality window, then you should consider using another manufacturer that can get it right the first time. Also, the "supplied" screws needed for installation were missing. Called Farley and asked them to mail me the missing screws, they told me to contact HD. Most manufacturers will just ship out the missing parts in the mail. Poor customer service. I won't be buying Farley Windows again.

In the United States, Farley is sold through American dealers. North of the border, Farley is sold through Home Depot Canada. The critical reviews below seem to be involving the warranty process through Home Depot in Canada. Americans like this one are happy with Farley' s lifetime warranty, design and performance.

I purchased 11 windows through a big box store that deals with Farley, the windows operation/efficiency had some hiccups and it took sometime to get things figured out, but at the end of the day once the company saw the deficiencies that I was pointing out they came and repaired the issues ( hopefully the repairs stand the test of time and climate ) they were accommodating to everything I pointed out to them.
Overall my experience has been less than ideal and bumpy but I would say that if a company can repair the issues and is willing to come back to fix the issues in anyway possible then it is respectable and should deserve a chance to earn your business. They do stand behind their product which is the main thing.

We just put our new patio door in and went to close it and the stationary door blind slide is on the right side rather than left, thus we could not close the door fully. Gal at Home Depot where we bought it said, go home and figure it out. really what a crock. Finally after an hour talking to manager he said go do whatever it takes to close door. Now it won't work at all. Been on phone 6 hrs with KP windows no answer or call back. If this is service, !

If I could review this company without a star I would. Farley windows boast a lifetime warranty and that was why we chose their windows. Dealing with this company for their warranty has been a nightmare. We bought our windows through Home Depot. We initialized our need for replacement windows November 28, 2017 through Home Depot. The form was filled out and faxed to Farley Windows that day.
After numerous visits to Home Depot( all documented) we still do not have replacement windows. As of June 27th, almost seven months after we started this process we still do not have our windows. We have been told on numerous occasions that they will be two weeks. I would think if a company says they will give a lifetime warranty they should back up their policy. This has been a nightmare! We are in need of more new windows and it is guaranteed that we will not be purchasing Farley Windows.

Just received my window ordered at Home Depot. Tried to remove the screen for the installation. Would not come off. Went to home depot and they had to force it to remove it. They requested a service call from Farley. The reply was it could take up to 21 days. Never again. Lucky its a small basement window. Its my first and last Farley. Poor service. I will wait to get it installed. Otherwise, they will probably blame this on the installation!
