Southern Ideal Door opened its doors in the Atlanta area in 1989 and expanded opening a Charlotte location in 2004. We are a wholesale supplier of steel and wood garage doors, openers, associated products and fireplaces. We currently deliver to North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Florida.

We ordered garage doors through a contractor who was using this company. This company sent the wrong doors with the contractor and they were installed. He showed us the order he placed and that Southern Ideal Door delivered the wrong doors. After seemingly jumping through hoops they said they would deliver the correct doors. That was over 2 months ago. WE ARE STILL WAITING on our doors.
I have called up there twice, only to be given the run around and be treated like I was an inconvenience. I spoke with Anna the last time I called and she wouldn't even look up our order to see when it would be ready or delivered or the status. or ANYTHING. Absolutely atrocious customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND at all. Don't waste your time or money. This has been an absolute disaster from the start.

Horrible company. Won't sale or give you prices for garage doors unless your a installer. Just another company to the installers can upsale and rip you off. A honest, reliable company would at least give you a price. They're in business to sale doors! Only to people to profit off of you! Can't be trusted!

I worked here up until I had health issues, otherwise I would still be working here. Southern Ideal Door is a garage door wholesale company, which deals directly with contractors, replacing garage doors, parts and new doors for subdivisions. They will have the occasional walk in, who buys replacement remotes for garage door openers. They offer all types of garage doors from standard, designer to custom overlays. From builder grade to high end garage door openers, you are certain to find what will fit your needs. The people I worked with were nice and helpful.

The Charlotte NC branch of Southern Ideal Doors is amazing. They just helped us, a first time customer, land a huge job! From my original conversation with Brian, to Joel the manager, Tammy in accounting, down to Matt and Rodney the driver, this is a class act. Customer service was stellar. It's a shame that there are not 6 stars that I can rank. We will definitely do business again.
