Crosstown Custom Shades and Glass and it owners and workforce are fabulous. I live in a NYC apartment building and as many of you know who do as well, levels around my window spaces can be uneven. Installers David and Tim let nothing get in the way of putting up new Hunter Douglas roller shades for me that work with remote control, with utmost care and concern for my installation. Amenable to answering any questions and making certain I thoroughly understood how to use the remote.

While that may sound funny it can be daunting for me. The job is beautiful. I am so pleased that I met these two wonderful people (installers) and had the best experience. Tom at Crosstown on West 10th street, helped me make the choice perfect by asking about all my needs and showing me the options. Patient and caring are the owners. A call back is never an issue. Crosstown's expert installers were here today. They arrived right on time after having given us a call. David and Tim worked fast and efficiently to install our new shades. The shades themselves fit our windows perfectly, the valences a perfect complement, rather high tech with smoothly operating pulls. (Thank you, Marcie, for your guidance.) The shades will be here a long time and add value to our apartment.

There are a couple new comers in the shade business in our neighborhood, very slick looking and very corporate. Crosstown has a long history on the upper west side and is family owned. Their expertise is equalled by their honesty. We give them a high-five. Thanks folks. Couldn't ask for more.

I found Crosstown Custom Shades & Glass by accident earlier this summer and I am thankful I did. Tommy Beall at the West Village location did a masterful job helping me wrap up some decorating challenges and then stepped in to solve an emergency - collapsed drapes. He sent Wonderful David and Amazing Tim over three days after I called with my plea for help.

They rehung the drapes, reattached the vallance, vacuumed the floor and moved back the furniture! So - clearly they came quickly and went "above & beyond" in terms of service. I recommend the whole team - good at what they do, professional and NICE! Cindy Fields

Beautiful custom shades and blinds from Crosstown! But even more impressive is the attention to detail and quality that I encountered after 3 separate orders of custom blinds. Oddly enough, it was their installer (Dave) who pointed out to me some slight imperfections in the shades (that I didn't initially notice). I was assured that they would order new replacements.

And they did. Throughout, Marcy and Jeff at the store were extremely responsive. They ordered the replacements for me quickly, and were dedicated to making it perfect, making sure I was 100% satisfied. And when spending big bucks on custom window treatments, isn't that exactly what you want? I would order from them again in a heartbeat!

We have huge windows which was great! until we realized it was impossible to find off the shelf solutions that would fit our windows and let us top mount our AC so we could still retain our view. We were so thrilled to find Marcy at Crosstown who was able to help us figure out the best solutions and within our budget. She made everything so easy. The hardest part was picking fabric! Everything is such great quality. No complaints at all.

From beginning to end this was a really pleasant experience. There is nothing better than to have a personal rapport with the people you are working with. It is easy to understand why this neighborhood store has been in business for so many years. The service is hands on, they work with you on selection, giving thoughtful advice, are flexible with timing, and installation was the icing on the cake. Tim and Dave, who did the installation, were punctual, patient and extremely professional. All and all I am very pleased and highly recommend Crosstown Shade and Glass.

We ordered blinds (two) for our large windows. When they were installed, we realized that we got the color wrong. Crosstown worked with us on a price that allowed us to reorder. When the new blinds were installed, we saw that they did not quite line up with each other (no fault of Crosstown), and wondered if this small but (to us) noticeable issue could be fixed. Again, Crosstown provided outstanding customer service.

They assessed the situation and worked with the manufacturer to reorder them at no cost to us. Today they did the final installation, complete with precise adjustments. They look beautiful. We're very grateful for their high level of professionalism and customer service.

Top-notch service start to finish. I was looking for blinds for all the windows in my apartment, and Marcy was extremely helpful in guiding me towards the right product, carefully explaining all my options. The installation was very efficient, and I could not have been more impressed with the men who did the work. They made adjustments until the blinds hung perfectly, showed me how to best operate the new lift technology, and did not leave a speck of debris when they left. And most of all, they were respectful and nice to work with. I give the whole experience an A+ and highly recommend.
