Founded in 1915 by Harry and William Henderson, Henderson Glass originally started out as a tire company with six stores. In 1929, the company took a hit during the Great Depression and lost all their stores. Despite the hit, the founders rebuilt the company in the 1930s to become Henderson Tire Company.

Henderson Glass did an amazing job replacing the windshield on my 2000 Porsche Boxster. They got genuine glass from Porsche not some cheap knockoff like Safelite wanted to do for me. And they got the glass fast, they said it would take a week for them to get it and it came in a week. Then scheduling an appointment for it to get installed was hassle free, I dropped the car off at 8am and it was ready before noon.
If you have an old or special car, this is 100% the place to go. But even if you drive a Honda Civic you'll be sure to get much better customer service here than anywhere else. Thanks to Len, Karen, Mario, and Chris, I had a smile on my face the whole way home.

Excellent service! Karen was wonderful! She was very pleasant and efficient. She explained everything necessary, took the car in the day before and parked it safely for the night. Car was ready as promised the next day with Karen again being as pleasant and efficient as anyone could ask for. Yes it was a warranty repair of a windshield but I was thankful that my insurance company uses them for repairs or replacement. Have had a number of new windshields done at the Troy store over the years as well. This time Karen and Jim combined to get me scheduled at a convenient time for me and Marin and Chris did a flawless install of OEM glass that left all the electrical stuff in fine working order. Great folks doing a great job!

Called on Wednesday morning to order a 44" x 38" piece of glass to replace a broken mobile home interior storm window. Explained to that we were going to be taking it up north on Friday. I was told that I'd be notified when the glass was cut. I called Thursday afternoon prior to their closing to check the status, and was told that it wasn't ready, and couldn't possibly be available until 'late Friday afternoon'. "It takes that long to cut a piece of glass?", I asked. 'Yes, we're really busy.' was the response.
I called another glass company -- another glass company that I will call FIRST next time I need glass. Did I mention that Henderson quoted me $62, and I paid $33 at the other place?

I had my windshield replaced this morning. The previous owner of my car had applied caulk over the moulding to fix a leak. As soon as the installers saw that, they called me back to discuss their concerns. I appreciate they took their time to explain things to me. The office staff was kind and professional. I'll definitely come back for any glass needs in the future.

Very happy with my new shower door. The only negative is that this is the only Henderson glass location that charges for just measuring and a quote. I'm not sure what that's all about, but they deducted the measuring fee from my purchase so it was fine. The installers came in, did the job efficiently and cleaned everything up before leaving. They also fixed a mirrored bifold door and took care of that job the same day as the shower door was installed.

I got a chip repaired in 2019. Was told there is a lifetime guarantee on it. It needs to be filled as I don't think they did that great of a job. I called and was told that they don't refill chips. If it needs to be done again then I have to buy a new windshield. I said what about my guarantee? She told me they would take the amount I paid for the chip off the price of a windshield.
That is not what I call a guarantee. I know I don't need a new windshield. Just fill my chip and honor your guarantee. I will never recommend this place if this is the case.

As a local landscaper, my crews unfortunately break windows at properties at times. I have used Henderson for all types of repairs on homes and commercial properties and they have always lived up to their word and professionally repaired windows at a cost I feel is fair. My history with them goes back 7 or 8 years and never had a problem.

The guy that came out to measure the window in my kitchen, failed to take the screen with him, which also needed to be replaced. When the installation guy came back to replace the glass, he had to take the screen back, have it repaired, and redelivered by someone else - but this was done on a timely basis. (The first guy should have taken the screen with him because I TOLD him about it. it was obvious the rock had gone through the screen AND the glass. )

Worst glass place ever my car makes a weird noise ever since they replace my windshield they did it three times the car never made the noise before they touched it and now they will fix it I'm so disappointed and I'm driving around with a loud noise because of them do not go here ever if I could give them less than one star I would've

Used them for years, Then we break a small 12"x12" home window, They send out sub to board up window for $350. Sub throws away parts, damages window & now Henderson glass say's sorry nothing we can do. Sorry Henderson Glass this is your responsibility! You hired these guys Make it right & resolve issue! Why do I have to search to find someone else to do job when you were hired to do a job.

I picked Henderson Glass over Safelite Auto Glass because it was $50 less. In hindsight, I should have picked Safelite. I had to visit this location twice because the Glass was not installed correctly the first time. Now, the rearview mirror is broken. I called their corporate office for help, but no response. Their "Lifetime Warranty" is useless. Go to Safelite

I scheduled an appointment to have Henderson come measure two front windows in my house that have that "foggy" appearance. The girl that answered the phone conveniently got me scheduled to have someone come between 2 and 4pm the following day. Except. come 4pm the following day when I called, the appointment (according to Henderson) was made for the day after and during a different window of time. My day was scheduled around this home visit. Not professional and very unimpressive. I'll find someone else.

Lets see i paid $105 to havea pet screen in my screen door. It has taken them over 2 weeks to complete the job. One excuse after another as to why it wasnt done in 2 days like a normal hardware store would have taken. They didnt care that i was inconvenienced. They are a terribly run company. Will never use them again.

I purchased a groupon to get 2 windshield chips filled in for $20. I made an appointment and came into the store, everything went smooth and the reps were very kind and courteous. I was told the process would take a half hour but it took them about 25 minutes and I was on my way. There are magazines to read while your waiting but no TV so I recommend bringing a book.
