Had to reschedule once because the technician was running late (hey - it happens and I understand. Especially where customer service is involved). Rudy was great to work with. Had to get the install completed in 2 visits because he didn't have the motor that was on special with him. Fortunately for me I wasn't busy so it didn't affect my schedule. Really nice people and quality workmanship!

When I asked for an estimate to repair my Genie Silent Max 1000 garage door opener I asked what the price would be. I was told $99. The tech arrived and told us it would be $288. The $99 was just to come to our door, but to inspect the Genie we had to pay a total of $288. I told him I thought that was not fair. He said he understood and that many customers feel the same way - but that is what the cost for an estimate is.
So he spent about 10 - 15 minutes to determine that the Genie had to be replaced. He did not mention that my model was no longer valid in California since it did not have a battery backup. Instead, he said I could always buy one at Home Depot. Seems like he wasn't aware of the CA regulations. I called the Door-Mart office for a refund of $189.
The person on the phone would not let me finish my explanation - he would always interrupt. He said the $99 is valid only if it is obvious, without inspection, that work needed to be done. If it is not obvious, then there is an additional charge. He also, at that time, informed me of the regulation about battery back-up. OK, so it was clear from my initial phone call that my current Genie could not be repaired because of CA regs.
The tech should have known this, also. I feel it is unfair to charge me an extra $189 for at most 15 min of work that should have been obvious the Genie could not be repaired. I expected an offer of a refund for the $189, but no. From the initial phone conversation, a reasonable expectation is that I would pay $99 for the visit. Recently our garage was not working. Came out to be that the motor sparked and it was a bit old anyways. Door Mart was actually our second call for a consultation / estimate. The technician explained thoroughly what had happened and what can be done. We had it fixed right there and then. Fees were reasonable too. I would recommend Door Mart. Thank you again.

Extremely disappointed with their service representative. After our garage door spring broke, we called Home Advisors to obtain a referral to get the spring fixed. We received a quote of max of $375. Upon arrival, without even looking at the door, the technician upped to cost to double! Literally double the cost. Could not help but wonder if once he saw the neighborhood, he upped the cost.
After I took a day off and waited the ENTIRE 4 hour window, we sent him packing. Never again! A competitor came out the next day on 3 hours' notice and fixed it for the cost of $375.

Devin from Door Mart was so professional and gave excellent service! Devin was honest on letting me know what works and what does not, preventing me from spending more in the near future. It was so easy to make an appointment with Door Mart as they were responsive and there was an availabilty on the day I inquired. Would definitely recommend Door Mart to my family and friends.

The technician who came to installed it did not do a good job in the first place, but later, the issues were fixed. On the top bar- fixing the belt to the motor, one screw was missing, though it installed the new Genie -1055 model, did not install the new sensors. I need to instruct him and help him to fix the switch to the wall. He did not wish to go to the attic to wiring the switch to the wall.
When he tried to clip it to the wall and wired it, I asked him to fix the switch with old wiring. When I called the corporate office to get the invoice breakdown of $700.00 (the technician told me the material cost is 600+ plus the labor), they refused to give me a breakdown. When I checked the Genie -1055 online price, it is around $175-250. I believe the charge is a little excessive. but it is my mistake -not doing my research, and I have to be responsible for it.
The company representative promised to send a technician and fix the sensors the next day. As promised, the technician came and apologized for the miscommunication. he was a very professional, friendly, and good gentleman. The technician installed new sensors and missing screws. he also gave me the old sensors to keep with me for later use -in case new sensors go bad.
I am now satisfied with the overall service. I recommended this Door-Mart and their service to anyone, but please discuss the prices and products type, the model, etc. that they are going to install before the services are obtained. Specially, request the service breakdown in the invoice. It will avoid lots of disappointments.

Had the heavy spring snap on my garage door, as this is a main way of getting in and out of our house I was looking to get this solved ASAP. Door-Mart technician came in a matter of hours, had everything needed to fix the issue on his truck, did the job in less than 30 minutes. Really relieved how easy this was to have fixed. Very good service, I highly recommend them!

I received your advertisement in the ValPack mail out from last year in September and I'm extremely glad I kept it. I had other flyers saved also but yours was the only company that was still in existence. (35 plus years is what your flyer says). I'm just so very pleased with your quick response and the friendliness of your person handling the phone. Dean came the very next day on a Friday and your office kept me up to date when your fantastic technician Dean D. was on his way and then letting me know that he will arrive soon and then telling me when he is arriving in my drive way. (My doorbell isn't very loud) I absolutely loved Dean.
He was very professional, honest, friendly answered all my question and a real delight to have him as my technician. I was able to have a new garage door installed in two days (Monday). I wish every one that I have used before was as great as Dean.

There was good advance communication by Door Mart in Chico, CA prior to my annual service appointment. Stephen R. arrived on time. He was personable, prepared, methodical, and efficient with his tasks. Because of the set-up in my garage, he had to do a bit of creative problem solving in moving some ceiling brackets just a bit. What I appreciate is that he left my door-opener with the new back-up battery attached to the ceiling far more sturdy than prior to his arrival.
I needed new remotes since they had burned up in recent local fires. Not a problem! He even took the time to make sure the built-in remote in my car was updated and worked. I could not be more pleased with this service from Door-Mart and am particularly impressed with the quality and kindness of Stephen R. Kudos to him!

Ok, after careful consideration, I am going to express myself in regards to the service after the sale by Door Mart Garage Doors, located at 11286 Pyrites Way Suite 110, Gold River, CA 95670. On 12/19/2019, my elderly mother had a New Insulated Garage Door installed along with a new garage door opener. I asked the tech if the new band was strong enough to lift the new door, and I was assured it would be.
In and around October of 2019, the band broke so I called Door Mart Garage Doors. I was told by George, all their records had been destroyed on their computer. George was very rude and condescending, and even went so far to even say "you are welcome to call someone else". For $100. dollars, a tech was sent out. And, I paid another $200. dollars to replace the band.
Now its May 2021 and the new chain replacement broke again. Thats 2 bands in 1 year and 7 months. I called and spoke with George. Because of my last experience, I kept it short. But George told me my warranty was no longer valid. I asked what about the chain that was replaced? At that time, he started telling me how they no longer use Skylink Group product but I was welcome to call Skylink.
Bottom line is the service after the sale, was horrible from the first time I needed them, as well as the 2nd. There will never ever be a 3rd time, because enough is enough. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new garage etc etc, they another company. Having to ask for service, with a terrible customer service rep, only adds to the frustration of a fairly new garage opener breaking twice. Makes me wonder about products they use, on top of lousy "after the sale service".

I got a surprising call on 4/11 Saturday that a Door-Mart technician was coming to fix the garage door. Dean came and was very professional and addressed the root cause of the issue - the track was not set correctly during the install. Thank you Dan excellent work. The 800 operator George never called back - did not expect he would. He is rude and needs serious client service training. Given that this was fixed I will adjust my rating to a 3. I hope to never have to call Door-Mart or George again.

I have a rental home and the garage door would not close mysteriously about 1 time in 10. Can't have a renter dealing with that so I called hoping the tech might have seen such an issue before. Ted came out and he was experienced, honest, a good communicator and walked me through his thinking. In the end he found a wire that had been pinched by the staple on the wall that was the issue.
He oiled everything which radically reduced the noise, programed clickers, and carefully examined everything to make sure I would not have issues in the future. He was top notch. His price was $110 which I felt was reasonable and fair. When he left I felt more knowledgeable about the opener and grateful for his valuable expertise. Yes, I would solidly recommend them and hope you get Ted.

The serviceman showed up on time and was proficient. However, Garagemart charged $407 to replace the seal on my garage door! I was told the $99 service charge would be applied to the work, but it was an additional charge. I should have denied the service, but then would have paid $99 for nothing. Won't use them again.

Called and appointment made for the following day. I received an alert technician was on the way to my home and then another alert advising me technical was walking up to my door. Devin quickly analyzed the problem and was able to fix it. Devin answered all my questions and was very thorough. I wholeheartedly recommend Door Mart Garage Doors.

Our garage door had a lot of problems. Rollers went off, made a lot of noise and remote openers didn't work properly. I found Door-Mart on yellow pages and asked for service. Their technician came and did the necesary fix and recommeded maintence service on the motor. I was not at home at the time of service. My wife was there. The bottom line is: I am very satisfied on their quality services, prompt response and follow-up. I would highly recommend this company.
