I read the response from Bill, and it is a damn shame that the only excuse they have is that I wasn't the actual homeowner. The fact is, I was the one that met with each of the people and got the estimate and the scope of work. I was also the one that met and reviewed the work and let them know of the imperfections. I notified them immediately and even met with them twice and was told they would do one thing and they did another, which was nothing!

If you were going to complain about a review, put some meat behind your complaint, the only excuse you have is that you feel that my name was not on the title of the property even though all of the negotiations were done directly with me. Such a shame! Also, there was NO contract, show me

I can't speak highly enough of this company. We got four quotes, two of which were outrageously high, and we agree we made the right choice with Glass Rite. Local, ethical, and great quality/service. I don't often write reviews but based on our very positive experience with Glass Rite and their installers Gil and Miguel this past week I want to make sure that they receive a great review from us. We had one of our home windows replaced by Gil and Miguel this week and the installation and patch work left us with little to clean up. They were extremely consciousness of what they were doing and very, very thorough. Based on this experience I will be getting additional windows replaced with Glass Rite. Thank you.

Glass Rite had previously installed all the windows in our home and we are very pleased with them. They recently installed a sliding glass door for us and they lived up to their reputation. They clearly explained the process, costs and steps involved. The installers arrived as scheduled and did a great job. They also gave a suggestion which made a big difference! Loved the idea.

They were professional, friendly and polite. Couldn't ask for a better product or a better installation. Great companies stand behind their products and services and Glass Rite is a great company.

Glass-Rite did an excellent job with my project which included a large picture window, 3 large windows in an upper stairwell, 2 sliding glass doors and 4 smaller windows. Their estimator was highly knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. They had two of the most amazing and hard working installers working quickly, efficiently, and carefully in crazy summer heat.

They respected me and my home at all times. I was not too crazy about the high additional cost to frame each window with aluminum as the new window frames left most of the old wooden frames exposed and could not be left that way. Again, their two installers sure knew what they were doing and did an excellent job.

Nothing! Even though you said someone would come nothing ever happened. It is still a reflection on your customer service. There was no disclaimer about the stucco as you said, as a matter fact I was in sure that these problems would be handled multiple times. My review stands.

We had several large windows replaced. Very good sales person. Very knowledgable. The installers were prompt and courteous. They took care to do a good, thorough job. Will likely purchase more windows. Recommend them highly.

I contracted with Glass-Rite for a new window and a new sliding glass door for my house. The salesman who came to my home was great, explained everything and was very professional. They're booked out 2 months in advance, so plan accordingly. The installers arrived on time and spent the day removing the old pieces and installing the new ones, doing a very careful job and making sure not to damage any floors, walls or frames.

My new window and door are beautiful. I bought expensive ones to upgrade and improve my home and I couldn't be more pleased. This is a very reliable, trustworthy company who do top quality work. I'd gladly recommend them to anyone.

GlassRite is an excellent company. They have quality products, wonderful staff and customer service. We replaced all the windows and doors in our home and have experienced an amazing difference in utility costs. These windows have significantly reduced the amount of outside noise. We would recommend GlassRite to everyone!

We didn't get patio doors and knew almost instantly that we weren't going to get them here and this is why: customer service just wasn't up to par. We came in and asked about patio doors and quickly were asked vinyl or wood or aluminum and given options but the lady who "helped" us not once bothered to introduce herself or really get to know what we really needed.

She was rough. Also, according to the Glass-Rite website "If you are looking for French style doors, we like to inform our customers up front that vinyl is not usually an option. Because of the weight of the glass in the swinging panels, French style doors are not built in vinyl as there is a possibility that the frame could warp." My husband and I felt she seemed slightly inconvenienced that we were there.

I don't expect you to treat us like royalty if we go to your store/shop/business but I do expect you to be interested in our business. The sad part is that we went here because we had heard good things.

Amazing experience. We had a huge job. Over 30 windows and six sliding glass doors. The workers were skilled, professional and clean. They installed a high quality product on time and on budget. The product was exactly as expected - actually exceeded expectations. The Sales manager and install lead were customer focused and friendly. Don't buy Windows elsewhere.

GlassRite is an amazing company. High quality work, trusted employees and amazing customer service. The workers discovered a flaw in 3 out of six sliding glass doors. We would never have noticed. They cared about doing the job right and ordered replacement sliding glass doors. We also installed almost 30 Windows. It was a big job. The finished product is amazing we couldn't be happier with this company. The work was completed on time, on budget and exceeded expectations.

My Glass-Rite vinyl windows and Jen-Weld sliding glass doors were installed on February 25, 2015. Everything about this purchase was excellent! All the employees did great work, the work was completed on time, and the windows still look like new. I especially like that the installers are actual employees and not sub-contractors. I highly recommend this company.

I am a Professional Remodeler in Albuquerque and have been using Glass*Rite windows in my projects for a good 20 years. I have them in my home, in my parents home, and in my picky sisters home (and she couldn't find anything to complain about). We probably do at least one project with Glass*Rite every year and I refer them to any one who asks about replacement windows.

They provide excellent service, are quick and efficient, and thoroughly clean up their job site. The windows are manufactured here in town (unless you buy Jeld Wen) and they have always kept to the schedule we set. A long time ago I tried another company who was slightly less expensive and it wasn't a quality job so I have been using them ever since. More importantly, if there is a problem, and they are rare, they get it fixed, promptly. A quality organization from the bottom to the top.

They are good when they install them, but service after the sale and installation is quite different. They installed all of our windows and sliding doors over a 15+ year period. The windows leaked very badly at the 5 year mark and they tried to fix it unsuccessfully. We've had warranties for the life of the windows which this decade are never honored. UPDATE 2015: Steve Hoberg contacted us and made good on the warranty on one of the sliding doors that we had that never did lock. He's a good guy and we're willing to give them another chance if we need further window replacement. After 3 - 7 years

We live in Alamogordo, NM and needed all the windows replaced in our home. It was a daunting task as we have 33 windows. We were having a very difficult time finding windows we liked and finding a company whose reputation would live up to our expectations. One of the things that drew us to Glass Rite is they manufacture their own windows to your home's specifications.

Prior to choosing Glass Rite we visited their company's showroom, talked to representatives and toured the factory. We were greatly impressed with the company and pleased they would travel to Alamogordo (3+ hrs from Albuquerque) to measure/price/install our windows. We were also amazed to learn Glass Rite has been in business 30 years! That alone says the company has been doing a lot of things right and has many satisfied customers who refer others. Also, the windows are guaranteed for life even if you sell your house!

Glass Rite sent four highly experienced installers to our home and our 33 windows were installed in two days! Our home is stucco and we were worried it would be damaged removing the old windows and installing the new. We've had neighbors who put in new windows from other companies and their stucco was so badly damaged they had to have their entire home repaired and repainted. NOT WITH GLASS RITE, of the 33 windows installed we had one stucco chip and it was only the size of a nickel!

Our windows were installed in May 2014 and we've waited two months to write this review to be sure we had no problems. WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS and we believe it's because Glass Rite builds windows specifically for the southwest. Our A/C bills have been lowered, glare from the sun has been tremendously reduced, we no longer have dust or bugs sneaking in through the windows and our neighbor's dogs have miraculously stopped barking! I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase new windows. Very friendly and accommodating staff!

We chose Glass-Rite to replace two big portrait windows (i.e., windows that don't have any moving parts). Their windows are produced locally, which is nice in case a measurement is off and they need to re-make something. We also like to support locally-owned businesses whenever we can. Prices are competitive, service was courteous and professional, installation efficient, and clean-up complete. The windows fit well, insulate well, and look great. Very satisfied.
