Gary and his team are amazing. They are very professional and responsive. They also know what they are talking about! The manufacturing process may take a little longer than the large companies, but that is because they make the windows themselves in their shop. This has the added benefit of making them experts at window construction, so they can walk you through and recommend options.

They also don't upsell - for example, they recommended thicker glass on the bedroom windows, but thinner glass on the larger living room windows to save. Lastly, they are very familiar with landmarks and can handle that process well. We have now used them for two brownstones and would recommend wholeheartedly

Our experience with Airflo Windows was excellent. Our coop building in Brooklyn Heights is landmarked and required 14 new custom-made windows that comply with landmark requirements. The company did a superb job, installed beautiful high-quality windows and they provided punctual, highly professional service. Gary, the owner of the business was personable and always responsive during the process.

Their pricing was competitive and very reasonable for the high quality product and service they deliver. I would highly recommend this company based on our superb experience working with them.

I've known the folks at Air-Flo windows for over 16 years when I did a complete renovation of my townhouse. Gary was very reassuring about the process of replacing all the windows, which required Landmarks approval. All the windows were replaced (front and back) and have functioned beautifully for over a decade. Recently I needed to repair two of the very large windows and thankfully I was able to work with Gary again, now with his son Joseph. I cant recommend them highly enough! Its great working with a family owned local company with such great craftsmanship, professionalism and value!

AirFlo is a rarity these days - a family business built on quality, integrity, responsiveness and craftsmanship. Gary and crew replaced our aluminum windows with beautifully made oak windows made right here in Brooklyn. They returned to make adjustments. Highly recommended!

When building our studio we reached out to AirFlo for help in soundproofing our windows while still being able to see out of them. Joseph and team came through amazingly. I live in a historic landmark cast iron building on Bond Steet and I wanted to maintain the integrity of the original windows when it came time to replace them. Air Flo Windows did incredible work building and installing windows that look exactly like the original wood windows but with noise control and insulation-the best of old meets new. Gary, Joseph and the rest of the team provided professional, personalized attention to every step in the process while providing a significant cost savings compared the larger window companies. Win-win!

Beyond excellent. So rare to see this business model these days - they not only did an excellent job (replacing a bent glass historic window) but without exception, everyone in the company was courteous, on time, pleasant and polite, responsive, helpful - you get the idea. These days I find I'm grateful when someone just shows up, so having someone call to tell me when they'd arrive, (on time, wearing masks, protecting my floors and belongings) to do an excellent, professional job knocks me out.

They worked super hard to accommodate my request to get the job done quickly so that I was not left without a front window and were completely honest (dare I say transparent?) about timing, cost, any issues that arose. My historic "wavy" glass matches the existing perfectly.

From my first telephone call to Airflo through the window installation, the scheduling, the service, attention to detail and professionalism of all involved was top notch. We purchased a landmarked limestone last year, and during the process of remodeling we decided we needed to upgrade the windows as the home had poor quality vinyl windows. We researched many brands from cheap to high end hoping to get a good deal and in the process we learned that you get what you pay for in windows. Cutting costs on the windows is NOT where one should do it.

That being said, we found Airflo's prices competitive with the large internet companies but their customer service was outstanding. This is a family business that cares. Gary came out and spent some quality time with us explaining what we needed and what the best approach was. We had 15 windows that needed to be replaced, but have to do it in stages due to budget constraints.

There was no "used car salesman" feeling throughout the process. Gary was very knowledgeable and we felt that he had our best interest in mind when proposing options. There were many opportunities for him to "upsell" us, but he actually did the opposite - keeping us from adding unnecessary expense. Our first order consisted of only 3 windows, yet Gary and the team made us feel like our job was just as important as their larger projects.

The Airflo team was skilled at handling all of the landmarks permitting and got the approval needed very quickly. When it came time for installation we found the team to be above our expectations in their professionalism, work ethics, timeliness and overall attention to detail. Gary's son Joe managed the install, and it wasn't easy as the team had to deal with a rotted out window casing and transom case.

It was an unexpected issue and the team had to completely rebuild it. Airflo could have charged us an arm and a leg as we were really in a bind, but they didn't, they were more than fair. I think customers tend to gravitate towards the monster window companies for their warranty, but I rest easy knowing Airflo would honor their workmanship for any future issues that could possibly arise. Overall, we found working with the team at Airflo to be a great experience and we're already looking forward to the installation of the rest of the windows in the not too far future. If you need windows, do not hesitate to give Gary and Airflo a call!

Gary and his son Joseph are among some of the best people that I've had the pleasure of working with. AirFlo took care of a pretty major window job in a historic Brownstone that my family and I renovated with ease. From dealing with the DOB in issuing historical permits to installing all 15+ windows, I trusted Gary and his crew along the way at every step of the way. Not to mention I could not beat his price (and i tired very hard) You cannot go wrong with this company. I would give them 10 stars If I could. 100% highly recommended.

I am extremely pleased and satisfied with my new windows from AirFlo! After consulting with other companies, I decided to go with AirFlo. It is truly one of my best decisions. These guys did all the work including acquiring Landmark permit. Once they were ready to work, they came in, installed the windows, did all finish work including touch up paint.

They were professional, friendly, reliable, and we where very pleased with our window instillation, from consultation, to instillation and finally project. My husband and I have gratefully relied on Air Flo for many years. The original fabricators of our Landmark-approved windows had long since gone out of business when we first called Air Flo and spoke to Gary Nebiol about fixing some problems with them. They're a unique and somewhat difficult design to deal with but Gary and his staff have always been responsive and figured out a way to deal. Ours are very small jobs for them but they always find the time to help us.

One of these days, when we bite the bullet and start from scratch with new windows, they'll certainly be the people we call. They're top-notch, professional, considerate, and not, to our minds, expensive.

I have lived in the Clinton Hill area for many years and always heard of Air-Flow as the go-to resource for quality and code windows. Now I know why. Gary Nebiol is a pro. It may have been annoying at first that he had incredible follow up, but that is exactly the support I needed. He is on it - it's just that we aren't used to that anymore, are we?

As many others have noted this is a custom, service oriented and professional business. They know about how to work with landmarks, and how to solve problems. I once asked him why he didn't do more and he responded those other services isn't his expertise. That's the point. They do windows and doors period. These days businesses pretend to do more when they don't know what they are doing but they don't anyway.

I am floored about how absolutely wonderful my windows look, (even my tenant told me so), and how well my doors operate so I called and left a message for Gary. He was so impressed that I would do that because that's just not what people do. why not? Do we get really great service all the time? I don't think so. Glad to write a review of recommendation for Air- Flow.

I had the windows in my brownstone replaced by air flo a number of years ago. I needed service on the windows. Air Flo gave me an appointment within a week of my request. They arrived on time and fixed the problem. The technician was polite, knowledgeable, and cleaned up, including cleaning a window.

Several months ago, Air Flo Window Contracting installed a new, 8' by 4' window in the front of our apartment. Recently, water dripping from our building had caused the window to warp. I called Gary of Air Flo. He immediately offered to send his workers to fix the window. They quickly installed a flange to keep the water from the window and shaved the warp. The window now works well. I recommend Air Flo.

I can't hear noise from the street anymore and it is wonderful. Air Flo provided professional, quick and reliable service replacing the windows of my condo in a landmark building. Gary and his team were flexible with scheduling and showed up on time. They got my application through the LPC approval process quickly and delivered a high quality product.

Most importantly, the cost was fair and not that much higher than a quote for windows that would not meet LPC standards. The installation team was amazing. My cleaning lady couldn't even tell they had been there.

Replaced the front windows on the top two floors of our brownstone. Took care of all the hoops that needed jumping through with the city and made the whole thing effortless. Arrived on time both days, finished on time both days. For all the work they did, you would never know they had been there based on how clean they left the place. The quality of the windows couldn't be better, and the they saved us a lot of aggravation by noticing that we needed to add a couple of add-ons to the window sills.

Not nickel-and-diming us either--the add-ons were so cheap and they made the front of the building look better plus saved us repair problems for the future. Checked with a neighbor who wished they had done the same thing. Friendly, reliable, reasonably priced.

I called Air Flo windows on a hunch as I drive by their offices every week. I live in an Landmarked building in Fort Greene, on the top floor, and needed to replace the three front windows of my apartment. We live in one of the most prominent old mansion brownstones on Clinton Avenue, so it was very important that the new windows were a perfect match for this building.

Within a week, Gary and come around assessed the situation and given me an incredibly competitive quote, the best I had received. This, coupled with Gary's professional and friendly manner made it a no brainer- I went with Air Flo. From then on every step of the process, the measuring, the Landmark application and, most importantly, the installation went like clockwork. perfectly.

These guys worked with our busy schedule and delivered on time. The guys who installed the windows (on the 4th floor) did it within in a day, took amazing pride in their work, left the rooms spotless of dust as they did a thorough clean up and came back the next day to do an excellent paint touch up job. They even painted my interior window ledges as a free extra without me even asking. Gary and the guys provided an unbelievable product and service.

I cannot believe how competitively priced they are in a field where most of the other quotes where way, way too high. I highly recommend them to anyone else out there. Other residents i know on Clinton Avenue have come up to me and told me how good the windows look.

Gary and the Team at Air-Flo are fantastic. The entire process - initial meeting, estimate, scheduling, installation - all top notch. I replaced 4 large old windows in my loft and it has dramatically improved the rooms. Good-bye space heaters.

Drafty, problematic windows that fall down at the top, leak constantly, come loose, do not stay up when opened and have major issues all around. I honestly have nightmares about the windows in my apartment even though I call them a few times a year to come out. Billing was a tad shady this last time. Even though I knew up front the cost per hour and the cost of the truck (whatever that means.

I assumed "cost of the truck" meant travel costs, but no. I was yelled at and told I was not even being charged for travel.) When I heard my repair guy (who is always nice) tell Gary that he was here for two hours on their 1st visit, and an hour/hour and a half this last time, I interjected because that was wrong. It makes my blood boil that they must think I don't know how to read a clock.

The first time they were here for an hour, and the second time was 35 minutes. Then, I was told that they round up, and would call it "one hour" even though it was 35 minutes. Additionally, I was the nice person who said to the repair guys, "let's call the office to see how much I owe so I can send you with a check." They were going to just take off with out a check.

So much for being the nice consumer. Other units in the building have similar issues, and constantly complain about how drafty it is. I found the scheduling to be ok. I haven't had too many problems with that. I can understand some maintenance once in a while, but this has been a major problem. It will definitely cause an issue when I go to sell this apartment since you can see major gaps or actually pick the window right up out of the track. Repairmen who come are always nice, clean up after themselves, etc.

Rude, unprofessional and unreliable. I literally just needed these guys to do an estimate and not only did they push it a week an hour before it was scheduled but on the new day set they bailed on me again but didn't even call to let me know. I had to call them for an update when I found out. The "contractor" who was supposed to come out was named GARY. Stay clear away from him. He's so shady!
