Universal Window Solutions

I don't want to leave this review, however I have been trying to reach anyone at this company about scratches that were in one of the doors and a window on installation. We had a rep from the company come out the begining of the year and noted the damage, said it was under warranty and that a sub contractor would be in contact to see if it could be buffed out.

Never heard from anyone again. My contactor has tried to reach you, I have tried to reach you. Nothing. So while the installation was okay, and we just had the one call to fix a stuck window. apparently they offer a warranty with no intention of ever following through. This review is my next step. I left another voicemail today June 10 at 12:45.

I am shopping for windows and besides price and quality, professionalism and product knowledge is of the highest importance. Kim was extremely helpful and compared to other companies that I have spoken with I am choosing Universal because of my experience with her. A person can feel the atmosphere of a company by it's personell that represent it. I have no doubts that I will be satisfied with my purchase. Carolyn

I was recently out showing property with some prospective buyers and we got the opportunity to tour a home that recently got new windows and a new sliding back door! The work looked so good that we spoke with the home owners and found out they had gotten some work done by Universal Window Solutions. The home owners said Universal Window Solutions do an outstanding job in a timely fashion. The employees are known to be professionals at what they do and the company has a great reputation.

I called to get ideas for our house addition. Kim was very helpful, friendly and professional. I would definitely like to have. Universal Windows for it when we decide to do the construction of our addition.

We decided to call based on a recommendation, relatives who had used them before. We had three exterior doors that were showing wear, we're not closing properly, and had gaps between the door and the frame. They came out, surveyed the problem, took measurements, and gave us a price. Based on the several positive reviews, we agreed to let UWS handle the replacement.

The men doing the work were top notch. They made sure every measurement was exact. They came in and replaced all three doors, including replacing the door frames which were damaged from attempted break-ins. A phone call with Kim Rice complete with questions she addressed tackled same day. We are so pleased with the new doors, the ease of closing, and the air right fit. I would certainly recommend UWS for any replacement needs. They Rock!

We have used Universal for all of our rental homes. We've had nothing short of excellent experiences each time. The price was more than fair for the quality of work we received. The communication remained open during the course of our installation and received a quick response any time we had any questions. Any concerns were remedied in a timely and appropriate fashion. 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone needing any kind of window/door repair or installation.

Professional, knowledgeable, affordable! I had my basement completely finished. Even months after the job is over they still check on the job and back their product. I would highly recommend this company!

We ordered windows in June/July of 2021 for a home we were renovating. We knew with everything going on that, it would be a few months to get windows. When we ordered the windows, we were told Mid November. November crept up and around Mid November, we were told early December. Then, we were told December 20th. This was confirmed a few days prior. December 20th is a Monday.

We planned all weekend to have the new windows installed Dec. 20th because that was what we were told. We moved into the home even with boarded up window holes because we figured, it is only for a few days. Then on December 20th at 7:00am, we found out our windows are still not in. Now, we understand that.we absolutely do. But, what we are NOT understanding of is Universal's inability to let us know Friday that there was no way we would have our windows Dec. 20th.

They had to have known that our windows were not in their warehouse Friday evening and would not be coming to our home Monday morning. A simple phone call would have eliminated our negative feelings for this company. Again, A LOT of our items have been back ordered. But, other contractors have been upfront with us & have kept us posted days prior to the expected arrival date.

Three panel euro wall door installed just over one year ago. Handle and locking mechanism failed two weeks ago. The door will not open from the inside or lock. But it will open from the outside. Obviously a safety concern. I called in a warranty repair. 5 days for the first call back. They said it was not covered under warranty, they do installation, not repair, and referred me to the manufacturer, who says they do installs mainly and it might be weeks or months before they can get to me. Blew me off too.

Good looking doors. Great installation. But they do not stand behind the product and essentially blow you off when the product fails. Exasperated, I asked who I could call to pay to repair this type of door. They said they will call be back. Still waiting.

Universal initially installed all of the windows in our house. Unfortunately, we had a stile on our sliding glass door fail three years later. We contacted them for assistance that night as the door was no longer secure or sealing. They were out within 48 hours to repair everything. We have been incredibly impressed with the responsiveness, professionalism, and thoroughness in which Universal handled our situation. We will definitely be using this business for all of our future window needs.

Universal window solutions has always provided great service. Claribel in the office is quick to respond and to help sending out technicians to resolve any issues that I may have. Dave Barker is an excellent field supervisor always willing to help in any way he can and is very knowledgeable in his products which is helpful to quickly take care of any problems or answer any questions I may have.

The staff is amazing! Very happy with the service and installation of my two new bottom window panes. Claire & her service team were very professional and did a neat and tidy job. I hope I do not experience any more seal failure but if I do I know who to call!

I had the best experience with Universal Window Solutions and Kendall Brown! Kendall is professional, kind and quick to respond! I emailed Kendall for assistance with an estimate and he ensured I received that quote within 30 minutes. After I received the estimate, he scheduled the install date and time for two days later. The install was quick and seamless! Kendall Brown is AMAZING!

I received 3 estimates for my house and finally chose universal. I'm so glad I did. They have great reviews and I know why. Sherry contacted me to schedule my install and it went exactly how she said. She made me feel comfortable with all the questions I had about the install. The rep was awesome but the behind the scene is what matters. Definitely deal with sherry as she actually calls customers back and is extremely helpful during the whole process.

I have been very happy with Sherry and Universal Window Solutions. I had a very strange issue with 8 year old windows and she has helped me with the manufacturer, an installer, and has basically hung with me through the whole process. I didn't buy the windows originally.the builder did, so she could have just told me to call the manufacturer and been done with it. Thank you so much Sherry!
