My husband and I purchased a whole house of SImonton windows from Teeters' company 4 years ago, Fall of 2017. At that time, I noticed that my kitchen window was leaking cold air. Numerous calls to Brian were never returned. Spring of 2021, the same window has a broken seal, so I look through a fog out my kitchen window. Numerous calls to Brian have again been ignored.
He seems to be consistent in not being man enough to return calls; an extremely poor business practice. Level of knowledge either portrayed or real is irrelevant when follow-up service is so much lower than poor. I would highly recommend NOT doing business with this so-called company, not matter what deal they offer.

We engaged Teeters Construction ("Teeters ") to install a Simonton Sliding Patio door. They were recommended to us by the Simonton sales personnel at the Easton location in Columbus, Ohio. The Simonton patio door was installed on 9/13/16. We called and emailed the owner Brian Teeters on 9/19/16 with the following concerns: 1. The latch on the patio door sticks and can be hard to move to the open and close position.
When we looked at the door in the show room, the latch moved easily and had smooth operation. 2. The outside vinyl trim on the upper left corner of the door was not reinstalled properly. The portions that overlap were reversed, 3. There is black material in between the window panes on the bottom of the glass. There was some on the inside pane and I was able to remove the black material there. 4. An item of mention is that the latch on screen door was not installed properly.
This had to be adjusted, leaving one or two additional holes in the door frame. Teeters used subcontractors to install the door. The handle on the door was eventually replaced. We found that the door handle instructions required certain screws to be hand tightened and for power tools not to be used on these handle screws. Despite this, the subcontractors used a power screw driver to affix the handle to the door.
The door had to be replaced. The replacement door was very hard to slide, and therefore, had to be replaced. After numerous phone calls and emails the door was replaced in March 2018. The same subcontractors were used and they again used a power screw driver to affix the handle to the door. This time the screw on the handle for the replacement door broke.
As a result, the entire door had to be replaced. The handle on the second replacement door was loose and never fixed. The bottom lock on the door was not aligned properly and had to be moved leaving two holes from the original position. Due to the mispositioning of the bottom lock, the catch plate for the bottom lock is scratched and looks terrible.
After numerous phone calls, emails and stating we would get our attorney involved, Mr. Teeters returned our call and in late 2018 came out to try to fix the handle and bottom lock. These were never satisfactorily fixed as the handle is still loose and the catch plate was not fixed. Mr. Teeters quit returning my phone calls. We will never use Teeters Construction again.

Brian is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in so many fields of construction. He has been very generous with his time and conversation helping us make wise decisions considering all the options in our budget. He is meticulous, and though we have not started our project yet, I am confident he and his crews will do an excellent job.

We had a great experience with Teeters. We had them replace all of our windows, siding, and gutters. They did a great job in all respects. Brian was our initial point of contact. He walked us through various options and helped us develop the best plan at a reasonable cost. Then, Gary was our lead contractor for the siding and Tony was our lead contractor for the windows.
They both were very easy to contact, explained what they were doing, gave good estimates for time to complete the project, and were just friendly and good to work with. While Teeters does much bigger projects than ours, it was a big deal for us. They never made us feel like we had a small project. They were responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend Teeters Construction to anyone.

Brian Teeters sold and installed Simonton windows and ProVia doors to us in 2011, and has stood behind the warranty every step of the way. In 2016, they replaced our back door for a manufacturer's defect, no charge. In 2021, two days before we put our home up sale, a cleaner damaged the mechanisms of 14 of our 15 installed windows. We contacted Teeters immediately. (A shout out to Linda for talking me off the ledge, figuratively speaking!) Not only did Brian assess the damage the same day we contacted him, but he managed to complete the work before the sale to the new owners closed despite COVID19-related supply chain issues with the supplier. Our choice of Teeters Windows and Remodeling has proven out for nearly a decade. We recommend them without reservation. Gary Ralston

We had some tricky siding repairs to take care of that came out of our home sale inspection. I talked to twenty local contractors and everyone was covered up with work or just didn't want to mess with a small job. Then Gary from Teeters called and started discussing options, sometimes late into the evening. He was knowledgeable about the product and had a can-do attitude. Teeters was able to not only give me a reasonable quote, but accomplish the repairs within a week. Install crew was polite and did high quality work. Many thanks to Gary and Teeters for helping us solve this problem in such a professional and timely fashion!

This company surpasses the 5 stars. They rescued us from rotting window trim that had been done by our "builder" who had 19 years of experience and used yellow pine for outside window trim! Found out that the windows were not installed properly; drip holes were caulked over. The builder really didn't know how to install windows. All this on 4 year old windows. Teeters Construction did the job the way it should have been done.
Their guys were polite, here when they said they would be here, and cleaned up afterwards. Gary, their foreman, watched over their work and worked along side of them. I would recommend this company highly.

I saw them at the Home and Garden Show. I tried to speak with the owner about the need for a double french door. He proceeded to ignore me and talk to my husband, who had not said anything. After we left I asked my husband if he had noticed it or if it was just me. He said no he noticed it to. So as a result I will not be using this company for my project nor will I ever say anything positive, even though they had a good price and product.

2-3 years ago, I hired/paid Teeters for Windows replacements and for replacing wood-boards surrounding the windows. It was a two-day job. The first day, three person team with team-boss came. The crew boss was quite good and the job on the first day were of good quality. When they pried out the old wood-boards, the weather tapes were torn off. Under the watchful crew boss, they taped new weather strips back, and then put the replacement wood-boards.
The next day, the crew boss did not show up until 10:30AM or 11AM. His two crew men tried to put wood board without taping back the weather tapes. They were rude. They said that they don't have those tapes and actually nailed up the boards without putting new weather tapes under it - to replace the areas which were torn off when they took out the old boards.
I had to go buy the weather strips from Home Depot which did not have good quality ones. After the crew boss arrived, he apologized. But, the damage has already done. The crew do things properly and well only under close supervision of the crew boss or homeowner. Else, they won't do their jobs properly.
