I bought a new construction condo at 99 Hudson Street and went with LWP Home Products. Wow! I am fussy with installers, but LWP helped me pick out roller shades that automatically roll down/up and it was "perfection". LWP, thank you!

I had a tough job for a shutter installer to tackle. My windows (European style), dimensions and my dead set mindset for shutters didn't make the job easy. After talking to four different shutter installers and being disappointed by either their professionalism or unwillingness to tackle the job, I found Rich and his team. He came over twice to ensure he was able to do the job.

When his team came the day of the job, they were prompt, professional and efficient. It took 10-4:30pm to install two windows (one with three panels). While the price is high relative to honeycomb, I am so happy with the result! Thank you Rich and team! I would recommend you to any and all

We needed a new front door and it seemed no one in South Brooklyn wanted to sell one to us. Robert at LWP took the time to explain that because our door opening was a couple inches narrower than the typical front door opening, our options were limited. Robert helped me find a door that looked good and fit. The Provia door did take longer to arrive than expected (due to winter 2020-21 supply chain issues) but Robert consistently kept me updated on the status and what the supplier was saying.

The install team installed the door today -- it looks FANTASTIC! They went above and beyond with ensuring the door functioned as expected and it LOOKS GOOD, including painting all the screws and all the detail bits you don't notice unless they are awry. They replaced the interior molding and it looks perfect. They are true craftsmen and we recommend them.

I am pleased to say that this is the 3rd home that LWP has completed window treatments for. Richard and his team worked with us to create and install a great automated window treatment system for our home as well as excellent design advice. Its has now been 4 years since the install and we are still very happy. As mentioned, it's all automated and things break.

Rich and his team are always there to talk through trouble shooting or expedite repairs. LWP also provided and insulated our glass shower doors and bathroom mirrors. Great neighborhood home improvement resource.

Had LWP come install security window gates in my place the installers are very kind and professional, they did a quick job would recommend and use again if needed.

I absolutely loved working with Richard and the LWP team! They were straight forward communicators, offered a variety of options, and guided decisions with the long-term investment in mind. They were in touch with us through out the fabrication and delivery process, so had clear expectations. I would 100% recommend working with LWP.

We had all of our windows replaced. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. Rob came measured, demonstrated the windows and reviewed our options. Freddy and Juan came for the installation and they were efficient, courteous and cleaned up as they went along. Overall a most positive experience. Great job.

Richard and his team at LWP did a fantastic job with our blind installation and we are so happy with the work. Richard came to our home for a consultation in July and he was so helpful and and informative. We had actually gotten a quote from another company before that, and LWP's service was much more professional and thorough. He really took his time to take measurements of all of our windows and go through details that the other company didn't even bother to mention.

When it was time for the installation, his crew were in and out so fast and did a great job. All of this happened during the pandemic, and Richard and his crew were always masked when they were in our home and we felt very comfortable with the entire process. Engaging with the folks at the office was also a pleasure. We can't recommend LWP enough.

We had Hunter Douglas PowerView Solar Shades installed throughout our place. Rich effortlessly guided me through me through my order, and despite an incorrect measurement that delayed the installation of one shade, the installation went just as smoothly. Bobby is definitely the star of the show. He's sharp and knowledgable about the product and the installation, yet pleasant to deal with. He took his time with the installation and worked hard and long to get things right.

Not happy with one of hunter Douglas powerview. there was 3/4" gap between bore and bracket. As a result, the tooth (gear) didn't not firmly grasp the bore. it was very noisy during operation. The crew took my recommendation to install 3/4" spacer and the noise was gone! However, they won't acknowledge it is improperly installed and charged me for service!

The most unprofessional, unriliable company in Brooklyn. I've never seen anything like it. After a week they still can't give you a quote for a window! I went to a different place they gave me a quote on the spot and window will be ready in 3 business days. If you need a window, don't go to these people, they don't make any window on the spot it's just a showroom, if you need a window go to a real window manufacturer not a showroom. Highly not recommended for anything.

We had a glass shower door installed a couple years ago. It recently sprung a leak and instead of standing behind their work and fixing it, they quoted us $400 for visit and repair.

I had LWP install all the windows in my brownstone this past week These were replacement windows. That were 25 years old. The workmen who did the job were professions. Pleasant and incredibly hard working. They were with me for 2 full days and they couldn't have been nicer and true experts in the work. The windows are beautiful and allready I feel the difference.

I also must comment on how neat they were. Replacing 13 windows is a big job. They cleaned up each room after they were done. I've never seen workmen like this! Robert. Basile. One of the owners I dealt with helped me to learn about window choices and to make a final decision. He didn't rush me He wanted me to take my time. We've used LWP for replacement windows and shades since 1987. The few problems we've encountered were dealt with professionally. The only negative thing I might say would be that intra-staff communication could be improved--not everybody always gets the same message. But we just got new shades and I'm certain that when it comes to new windows we'll be ordering from them again.

The LWP team is excellent- I used them for solar shades and was very happy. Rich was very helpful in advising on materials, sizing, etc. He supervised the installers, who were also great. Everything was done on schedule and as planned.

Very poor service. They installed our windows a few years ago and one of the windows needed new parts. They said they would have the service department call us and 2 months later we are still waiting for their call. Finally found another service and they were great. Would never used Lucky Window again.

LWP was great to work with from Day 1. They brought us books full of swatches and gave us a thorough and professional consultation - then measured the space effectively, coming back once when they realized there had been an issue. Delivery and installation went smoothly, very effective and did a great job cleaning up and being respectful of our space - and we are very very happy with the final results. Highly recommended!

Richard and his team were great. He came over and helped review the best window shade products to fit an oversized window and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. His installation team was fantastic; professional and made sure the space remained clean from debris etc. I highly recommend working with LWP.

I made multiple trips to the LWP Hunter Douglass showroom. I always felt welcome and was able to make decisions without feeling pressured or rushed. Rich was very knowledgeable. When the installers came, he offered to oversee the job. Shades function really well and look modern. Just what we wanted.

Low quality windows. Very. Bought and installed by LWP. Drafty from first winter they were installed 5 years ago. One no longer even opens. Wish I would have gone with company who did front of the house. Truly regret the purchase.

We bought LWP storm doors 31 years ago &.we bought new storm doors from LWP, again. Good shop at home service. Reasonably priced, great installation by staff. All good, again! We recommend this company.

From day one the person on phone was rude scheduling initial appointment. Whatever. She had a bad day, probably or maybe doesn't normally interact with people. Day two the guy comes to measure, doesn't arrive in time, when does come and I'm not home, I get scolded like a child by the same phone lady. Day three- takes 4 days to get an estimate.

Another 4 days to schedule installation. 6 weeks for door to arrive. The exterior gate Arrives damaged- which is only discovered after the workmen are already here for two hours. No apologies from main office just "it happens, I'm losing time and money too" to their credit they gave me the credit of the deposit when I canceled the order. Too bad because I have three more exterior doors to purchase and a friend who needs some also. Tried to shop local. Sorry.

Do not spend your money here! I had the worst experience with them! I purchased and had 6 windows installed with them. They were installed wrong and they didn't care, once they got paid the full balance they didn't follow up on coming to fix what was done wrong! Very bad customer service!

Communication with Robert has been excellent. He came over my house and gave me his honest opinion and options to fix my air draft issue on the window. Explained that the is nothing wrong with my windows except that the material conducts cold air easier and causes the air to come in. Explained that the material was the cause of the air draft and said vinyl may stop it but there is no gauruntee.

Bad experience with this company. They told us a certain Andersen patio door couldn't be used for our patio but I told him when I checked with the manufacturer they said it could. The man lost his temper and acted like "how dare I question his expertise." The other company we wound up using, Arco Window, explained calmly and clearly after checking with their distributor, that that model would not work because of a certain reason. When we finally got a quote from LWP, it was the same price as Arco, but for a model that cost half the price, so they were adding a huge markup.

From the man that measures to the installation men I am giving great review.on time. cleaned up.friendly to a nervous senior. my only complaint would be calling and telling me the next day they will be there does not give you much time to get the money out and clear up if you have to. thank goodness I had everything away from the windows since the day they measured an inconvenience but the only way that I could do it otherwise I would have had to have somebody rush over and move my dresser drawers and get to the ATM

These guys did a great installation, they were clear about exactly what we were getting and at what price. They replaced every single window in our house, including the front bow window. The price was fair, they were timely and nice.

Can't say enough about this great, local, long established business! I got a recommendation from a neighbor for a place to do my window repairs. After that place came and gave me an estimate of $1400 for repairs to 12 windows ( all seemed to need parts and 1 needed new double pane glass). I thought I was paying way too much, maybe because we live in Boerum Hill?.anyway, that just didn't sound reasonable. Called LWP, as they did repairs on my son's windows in Staten Island and did a nice job with them.

Two great young guys came right on schedule, evaluated them, and said, no problem: We even have the parts with us today. They began to clean, lubricate and adjust all the windows, making notes of any parts that were needed to be replaced. In a short while, all the windows were working well! And the entire job with parts, service charge, and new glass for the 1 window was only about $350! This is the kind of business you want to deal with! Honest, up-front, and reasonable. THANKS GUYS FOR A SUPER JOB!

Needed balances for my aluminum windows which were broken. Large selection of door and window parts. Price was less then online and they had exactly what I needed. I was In and out in 5 min. This is the type of stuff you can't get at HD or lowes so it's nice to have then in the area. 15 min from Cobble Hill. Plus you can park in the driveway!

You would expect that because they charge so much they would be top notch, not so. Placed an order 5 weeks ago, was told early on that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for windows to arrive. I called on the 5th week and the woman who answered the phone (Nancy) told me that she had no idea when my windows were going to arrive. I was very annoyed by this, how can they expect a customer to accept an answer like" "I have no idea". I payed for 50% of the order! I pressed for more information, no way was I accepting "I have no idea". Was pulled on hold and was given a date.

This review will be updated when the final result is finished, however I thought it best to post this now: so four weeks ago (4/9-ish) my dog broke the front window. We called lucky windows and they came April 16th to measure etc. They stated it'll be ready in "2-3 weeks." Alright great, we paid them half.approx $195. Two weeks go by, we call them: no not ready, alright great.

We didn't have time to call at week 3, so now at week 4 we called again and Lo and behold they had the wrong address on file ad window isn't ready. We had to call them back to correct this mistake, and we are still waiting on the window. I will update this review as we go along, though a more proactive response by lucky would have been appreciated. Let's see how they handle this now, and I will provide an accurate review when completed!

Gimme an "L" "W" "P"! What's it spell? Great Windows, Door, and customer service. Words cannot describe how grateful we are that we chose this company. Little did we know that they would genuinely help us make our house a home. We ordered all new windows for our house and a new door. The installation was quick and went well. The windows and door look superb. Glad we did not just go with the window companies that were nearby and decided to shop around until we found LWP through Angie's List.

I needed a blackout shade for my bedroom window because it is exposed to early morning sunlight. I'm a light sleeper, and during the spring and summer I don't want to wake up at dawn. LWP did a great job helping me select a blackout shade. Their technician installed it. I had been through the process a few years earlier with another company. However, problems with my building's pointing and the resulting water damage led to my needing a new shade once all the re-pointing and re-plastering was complete.

I called LWP. The LWP tech installed the shade in a safer position than had been the case with the previous company. The LWP tech clearly explained why he did what he did, which I think is great. I endorse LWP wholeheartedly.

To steal a quote from another review I recently wrote. LWP Home Products = "why you should skip the big box mass retailers and patronize smaller, family-owned businesses." Went to LWP to order a custom glass enclosure for my recently renovated bathroom. I left with a custom glass enclosure for the bathroom; three Hunter Douglass Modern Roman Shades for our living/dining rooms; and two top-down honeycomb shades for an upstairs bedroom. Richie Basile-- whose family has owned the business for years--is a fantastic salesman. which is to say, he's not so much a "salesman" as he is an expert on the products he sells, which is a plus in my book (although, I did get a little tingly when he pitched us on the remote control option for the Hunter Douglas shades.) The attention and service we received from Richie and his staff made all the difference. it was a stark contrast to the "service" we would have received at Lowe's or Home Depot, where you're often lucky just to flag down an employee who can actually answer your questions.

Even the guys who performed the installation were nice as can be, and spent the extra few minutes to get the job just right rather than rush out to the next gig. I'm a BIG fan of LWP!
