We are in the pre-install phase. So far, we had a salesman come to the house, and then we placed an order. That was in early March. The next step was to have someone out to take final measurements and get everything on order. They came, measured, looked everything over, confirmed our color choices, and got a signature from my husband. This is where things are going wrong.

We got a call saying that the paperwork isn't in order, so they need to stop by again. No problem, and we set the appointment. 30 minutes before the appointment (keeping in mind I took off work to attend this meeting), Unique cancelled on me citing an emergency. Ok, so we set up another appointment. I couldn't make that meeting, so I called an asked to reschedule.

They said they would contact me with a different appointment time. No one contacted me. One week following that appointment date, they show up at my door. Only my husband was home. They said that they had questions that needed to be answered before we could move forward. My husband makes sure they have my contact info to call me. No one calls. I try to call their office.

No one has any idea what questions need to be answered, but they set up another appointment to review those questions with the both of us before we can move forward. That appointment was this morning. 30 minutes before the appointment time, they call and cancel again. This time saying that all the questions are resolved and they can move forward. They never asked me to clarify anything, never asked my husband and I to sign more paperwork. So, this entire period could have been avoided, and yet it took 2 months to put items on order.

One of these items has a 6 month lead time, so now, instead of installing mid-September, it will be mid-November. I'm sure there will be no weather related delays in November, right? I will never use this company again. I would recommend you save yourself the stress and worry and find someone else.

Not happy with them still haven't called & when they do play dumb trying to sell something else. Salesman Chris said after work done he would check in to see if things ok never heard from him. Do ur homework first just saying.5/25 Came back out still didn't fix all that's why we wanted to be home so now have to wait for them to reply again. Rained today still issues didn't have the issue with our OLD GUTTERS But do new ones still not happy

Be careful of giving out your personal cell phone numbers. They will call you non stop! I understand the hustle but how many times does a customer need to request the calls to stop for it to actually happen?

Critical: Quality, Responsiveness, Value Unique installed 15 windows to the tune of 40K and now windows are peeling for the second time and want to charge 125.00 service charge. Ridiculous for a manufacturing issue that they knew about. Will use local contractors from now on Services: Window installation, Window repair

I had new gutters installed, they are very high quality. The whole process was great, the installers explained everything and were very nice, professional and knew what they were doing. Great customer service! Service: Gutter installation

The gentleman who came out to assess my gutter issues did a VERY thorough job. He asked me a lot of questions, used a moisture meter to check where water might be and even showed me some issues with windows that I could fix. Unique was the most expensive of the quotes that I got. However, the service, the staff, the materials and the install were all of high quality. You get what you pay for!

Unique did two bathroom remodels installing two showers, two toilets and flooring. Justin, our installer, did an outstanding job! Fred in service was always just a phone call away. High pressure sales pitch, 5x what the project should cost. They quoted $27,000 to have a roof put on with a discount to sign immediately. Was able to have it done for $5,500 by a b&f roofing who did a good job; 4 years later and no issues. Unique home solutions is a scam company that preys on old folks and ignorant home owners. Never call them or give them your number, you'll regret it if you do.

I stopped by their booth at a home show to ask specifically about the bump-out window they had on display. I live in a vintage, restored modular home, and they assured me that they would be able to work with this specific situation. I spoke to a representative to confirm my Saturday afternoon appointment five more times throughout the week, getting call after call to go over the specifics of my project and confirm address, name on the mortgage, etc, and I was continually assured that they would definitely be able to handle my project. Saturday comes, and at noon I get yet another call from a rep confirming the details of my project that we had already been over multiple times during the week. only to find out that they in fact can not help me with this project.

I told them once a day throughout the prior week the specifics of my project, but all of a sudden two hours before our supposed appointment they can't help. Very unprofessional, way too many "confirmation" calls, consistently had my information wrong every time we spoke, and then bailed on me at the last minute after I had blocked out my Saturday afternoon for them. Save your time and money and go somewhere else or DIY!

We contracted with Unique Home Solutions in 2018 to replace our shower. While we were initially pleased with the results, about 6 months later the anti microbial, anti fungal caulk they had sold us on was starting to mold. They did come out and replace the caulk but we have continued to have this issue every 6 months since. We have made sure to care for the shower as they had directed, and the last time they were here, they tried a different color caulk to see if that would help, but we are again faced with moldy caulk. So unless you are willing to have them return to your home every 6 months or so, I would be leery to hire them for this type of remodel.
