Mr Window

I have used Mr Window on 3 occasions though over quite a few years span. This last time we had 6 replacement windows installed on our 2nd story. As expected the delivery time for the windows was very long but this was not something Mr Window could control. The installation crew was very polite and communicative. In particular they paid very good attention to the installation details such as assuring a good seal and look where the windows transitioned to the siding. Overall a good experience with both Joe (sales and estimates) and the installation crew.

We had 10 windows replaced on the upstairs of our house. These were complete Okna replacements, not inserts. We signed to contract in May 2021 and was told it would be 10-12 weeks. There were delays in the Okna arriving (which isn't any fault of Mr. Window). They were able to get the first four windows installed in late October, but weather prevent any more getting done.

Two weeks later, they were able to get four more installed, but high winds prevented installing to two left in the attic. Finally they got the last two windows installed in the attic. The first issue we had was a leak around one window on the East side of the house. When I looked out side the window, I saw that the siding below the window was not seated properly.

This allowed rain to be blown under the siding when the wind is out of the East. This leak found its way to the ceiling below the window. The seond issue, we now have water coming in from one of the attic windows. This has also dripped down to the first floor and shorted out a Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detector Right now I will only rate them as three stars.

This may go higher or lower, depending on how soon these leaks are fixed. Update 02/24/2022 Mr. Window did someone out to fix the leaks. As of right now, everything looks good.

Critical: Responsiveness The windows were delivered on time. There were minor errors in the installation. I have been waiting for six months for them to correct the problems. I'm tired of waiting and calling for them to come and fix the problem. Jim S. Service: Window installation

Joe is unequivocally one of the best in the industry! extremely professional, takes his time to answer the clients questions and provides them with all the information necessary for the client to make the best selection/option for their home. I have never in my life had a worse experience with a company and owner. I could go on and on but this place is horrible! Steer clear!

Lied to us and avoided calls for MONTHS! This guy couldn't tell the truth if you put a gun to his head. Sawed off little half a man, biggest liar I've ever dealt with. Only did part of the job then lied through his teeth and to my face about the windows he damaged (told us they were lost, never showed up on the truck, etc for MONTHS!) Iy took MONTHS to get the entire job done. Avoid this scum bag.

We installed 16 windows and a sliding patio door. The installation was done over two days as expected. Installers were professional and friendly. The installers arrived on the days they were scheduled around 9:30 AM. I thought they would try get an earlier start. But they this done in the two days they promised. They cleaned up the site and only few minor cosmetic issues in the drywall adjacent to the windows. Windows and door are very good quality and appear to performing well, so far. We can feel the difference in the sound transmission from the outside. And we can feel that the heat transmission is lower. No pressure, and Joe is very professional.

Competitive pricing for quality windows. Estimator was timely. Installation crew was professional and helpful. The windows look great.

We had five windows in our house replaced by Mr. Window. The sales process was seemless and the windows are really quite nice. However, it is beyond clear that they need to hire another installation crew to help their guys out. Getting someone out to measure for the windows took multiple appointments and getting stood up as did the installation itself.

On the day they actually installed, they were suppose to be here "in the afternoon", but didn't actually arrive until after 6:00p. They didn't leave our house until 8:40p. While they were here, we overheard one of the installers say that we were their 6th house to do an install on that day. That seems a little excessive for scheduling. I used to work for a local window company and we never schedule any crew for more than three installs in one day.

If they have that many new installs happening, one would think they have the income to just hire another crew instead of working the ones you have to death and upsetting your customers with constant reschedules and no shows! I'm giving them three stars because, by what I can tell, the product itself is good, but the experience to obtain that product was not desirable at all.

I got at least 5 quotes for a whole-home replacement of my windows. I'm someone who does a TON of research and I asked lots of questions of everyone. Ultimately, I went with Mr. Window based heavily on the reviews I'd read about the quality of the Okna windows. Well above and beyond big box stores/contractor grade and much more reasonably priced than the ultra high-end names.

The crew installed 11 windows in my house in under 5 hours. Left it spotless and we a pleasure to have in the house for the day. Great peace of mind knowing that if there are issues I'll be able to rely on a local company to service them down the line.

My wife and I weren't prepared for our first window quote from a major, national retailer. After the sticker shock and scar from the high pressure sales pitch in our home wore off, we started searching for a local dealer. We found Mr. Window and are glad we did! Mr. Window matched the price of our home with appropriate windows (we didn't need top-of-the-line).

They showed us multiple quotes and options and even recommended we not buy the most expensive brand. Installation was smooth, too. Friendly installers who even replaced rotten wood they found. We would have liked for them to clean-up our floors and the window panes better after installation, but not a big deal. I didn't give them 5 stars because I had to take initiative to learn the status of our installation.

The manufacturer got behind, which isn't their fault, but Mr. Window was not proactive in keeping us informed about the delays. I frequently had to call to find out when installation might happen. In a crowded market space, service sets companies apart. However, Mr. Window was prompt to return my calls. We will get consult Mr. Window when we get ready to replace our windows upstairs.

We love our new windows! Joe was great to work with throughout the process. Very knowledgeable, responsive and nice. He helped us make decisions without being pushy. No high pressure sales tactics at all! Great price and a great product! The installers were professional, efficient and polite. We are very happy with the service and the product.

Contracted Mr. Window to replace a glass sliding door. We interviewed five different companies and decided to go with Mr. Window because of their excellent customer service, especially the time they took to go through all of the details of the installation and describe the philosophy of their company. They spent more than 1 hour with us while every other company spent 30 minutes or less.

Their price was in the ballpark of the others as well. We had a PGT hurricane proof door installed. The company kept in contact with us every step of the way. They were very responsive, courteous and communicated with us frequently. When the installation happened, Dustin and Will were great. Very professional, cleaned up thoroughly and came and went as promised.

We had a small issue with one door and a secondary lock, but that was taken care of by Mr. Window expeditiously and without any complaints. In the end, the sales manager, Hunter visited us to check on things. First class operation from top to bottom. Highly recommend and will go with them when we replace our other windows.

We were very satisfied with the entire process of purchasing and having windows installed by Mr. Windows. Mike Sullivan, with sales, was informative, courteous, patient and didn't pressure us. Later Dave, who installed the windows, was prompt, careful and professional. Afterwards the clean up was thorough and complete. We are very satisfied with our experience with Mr. Windows and recommend them.

We chose Mr Window over a competitor for the main reason that they do their own installations and don't sub contract it out! Over all we are very pleased with the new windows. I will say Mr Window was about $1000 more than our other option, but we still decided to use them as we wanted quality windows installed correctly, and without the hassle of dealing with subcontractors.

The only thing I think they could improve on is clean up, as I have a toddler and baby in the house and both their rooms very dusty(including their bed sheets) and I found quiet a few large wooden splinters in the floor, other than that they did great and worked fast!

Mr. Window replaced 13 windows in my town home. After getting several estimates for window replacement, I chose Mr Window because there was no high pressure sales pitch and Mike Sullivan listened to exactly what I could afford and what the HOA specs were. Their office immediately responded to follow-up questions and revisions to my original order.

The installation process went very smoothly and professionally. There was great attention to details, such as how to remove the old windows without damaging the surrounding structure (I don't even have to repaint around the new windows). The insulation and new trim are perfect. From the beginning of the process to the end, Mr Window did an excellent job!

I wanted Okna windows. Just got my windows installed on February 4, 2019. They look great!. Jake and Jessie did a good job. They were on time, courteous, helpful with my questions and professional. Still have a few windows to do but I chose to wait and see how the experience went first. So far I'm very pleased. I did get more warranty for this review. but it is still an honest review

Wow! From my very first conversation with the owner, Joe, to my last handshake with the installer, Matt, I have been more than satisfied with the service. I got 8 windows replaced for my condo this week and I instantly notice the change in airflow (or lack of) now that I have a sealed tight home. I had serious drafts coming in from all over the house due to old windows.

That is gone! I also notice my home being 80% quieter of outside noise (traffic, neighbors, dogs, barking) because of the high quality Okna windows that Joe recommended for me. I just took a nap and wasn't awoken by something outside for the first time since I moved in! I have to brag on Matt Boyd, the installer for a little bit. He was the most courteous person, friendly and trustworthy while he was in my home and with regard to keeping me updated on the 2 day project & expectations.

If he is available, I HIGHLY recommend you request Matt to be one of the main installers on your project. Joe, thank you so much for not selling me windows, but allowing me to purchase windows and a higher quality of living from you and Mr. Window. You will be the only name that comes to mind when I make recommendations to friends and family in the future! Thank you!

We needed a couple of bathroom windows for a remodel, and when I called Mr. Window I was told that they wouldn't come out to give me a quote for just two windows, then it dawned on me that they do patio doors as well, and after receiving a very high quote a couple of years ago from 2 box stores, I didn't think we could afford to replace them, but thought, well if they are here, let's see what they have to say.

They were so reasonable! Our salesman, Mike Sullivan, was friendly and never felt like I was being forced to make any kind of fast decision. We wanted to come in to the showroom to see the doors, and with our work schedules, we really needed to come in on a Sat. Mike met us on a Sat morning and took his time going over all the benefits of the patio doors with us, answered all of our questions and never made us feel rushed, or that we had put him out to come in to the office on a Sat.

We decided to purchase and when it was install time, Shawn came out and installed one of the doors and the two windows, came back the next morning, but due to weather had to reschedule the install of the 2nd door. He came out, as promised, on a Sat am and he and (another) Mike got the big door installed in like 2 1/2 hours! They were both very professional and friendly, made sure we were happy with the installation and answered any of our questions. LOVE our new doors! Would definitely recommend Mr. Window!

Good experience all around. Chris came out to our home, looked at old windows and issues having, non pushy very informative person, discussed various options for us, did not try to over sell anything. As he states he lets the windows sell themselves we went with Okna vinyl replacement windows; correct. An installer came out to measure windows. 5 weeks after measurements, called to make appointment for installation.

They hire their own trained installers, very knowledgeable good at their craft, discussed plan and time will take to install. They cleaned up after themselves, very punctual, educated us on issue we had with old windows. 19 windows for a two floor home, they did interior trim work and outside wrapping, three days, good work.

Poor communication. Doesn't follow up after initial quote, you have to keep calling them. Low balls offer so you focus on them and wastes time! Finally mocks customers and cancelled project with no real communication - just a farce! Stay away.

We went to Mr. window after bad experiences with two competitors. All I can say is I wished I had found them first, We had to replace a sliding glass door. Sounds simple right? After lousy service, inaccurate information and rude people coming to our house from the competition, at Mr. window we experienced extremely well informed and knowledgeable sales people, and the people who visited our home to measure and then install were professional, friendly and did quick, top notch work. After experiencing none of this from other "competitors" it appears the people at Mr. window are in a class by themselves in this industry!

I contacted this company to get some information on their products and services. The gentleman I spoke with was rude and completely unhelpful. I didn't even take it to the next step of checking out their products or getting a quote due to the complete lack of customer service when talking to them on the phone. There are numerous other companies out there that can help you with your windows and care about how they treat their customers. I would suggest contacting them instead.
