I wish I had looked at the reviews for Blind Corners before ordering our shades. My story too is a long one but bottom line was the only way I was able to get Maryalice and John to respond was to file a dispute with my credit card company for the deposit we paid for the original order. Their customer service is HORRABLE with several voicemails and no return calls.
At one point I was told that the 3 messages I left were never received :- I then started emailing them so that I had record that it was sent. After 3 months we finally were able to get Maryalice and John out to our house regarding the shades they sold us. They acknowledged that the product they sold us was no what we wanted and said they would talk to representatives from other distributors to see if they could find something that would work for our windows.
They promised they would get back to us in 2 days as well as set up a time to pick up the original 8 blinds that had been sitting in our living room for 3 months. A week later, still no response from either Maryalice or John. I emailed them stating that since it was obvious they didn't want to try and remedy their mistake, I was going to take the blinds to the dump that weekend. 1 1/2 hours later John responds to just put the blinds on the front porch and he would pick them up the next morning.
No explanation as to why he didn't call me back or set a pickup time for the blinds like he said he would. I would never recommend this store to anyone! I have been in customer service for over 20 years as well as my husband having his own business. I would never treat a customer like we were treated from Blind Corners. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN FROM BLIND CORNERS!

This is a long story.however the bottom line after spending $$$ and we got very bad service, no follow up, many hollow promises and commitments that were never fulfilled. Many instances of flat out lying! My husband had to go to their store unannounced to get any kind of response. We recently went directly to Hunter Douglas, who per the stories were well informed and responding our issues, only to find they knew nothing about our situation.
Hunter Douglas direct has been extremely responsive and service oriented. So the issue is not the manufacturer it's the dealer. This saga spans 3 years to finally get resolution directly from Hunter Douglas!

Beautiful products and terrific customer service. John recently installed a beautiful power rise silhouette, in my great room, and it's spectacular. The products are taking a lot longer these days because of the high demand for chips used in the power risers, but Mary Alice kept me in the loop. Thank you Blind Corners.

Ordered Shutters in September of 20. Overall price was good. They required 50% down. Measurement appt. went well. After than no communication at all until installation appt. in December. Install did not go well as 2 shutters did not fit properly so the installers said they would be back. Zero communication until April when I finally reached out to see what was up. Received a phone call back the next day indicating the blinds were in and ready to install. Installer shows up and only had one of the shutters. Said he needed to measure again to ensure it was made correctly this time.
Left indicating they would call when it showed up. A couple weeks later shows up with last shutter to install and then expects/demands final payment before leaving. I was not home at the time so asked them to leave an invoice and I would mail final payment. They indicated that needed payment immediately and would be back later at the end of the day and to leave the check under the mat.
I like the shutters however they are not perfect as promised. Classic case of over promising and under delivering. This review could have easily been a 4 or maybe even a 5 had they been better communicators and simply "owned" the mistakes.

A few years ago i dealt with one if the owners and it was the worst experience of my professional career, She was rude, vulgar and aggressive. People that treat others the way she treated me deserve lower than a 1* review. These people treat others in the service industry like trash. I truly hope people don't do business with you!

Great customer service. We met the owners of Blind Corners at a home fair, & we're so glad we did. They came out, measured what we needed, and helped us choose the type/color blinds that would work best for us. It was only a brief wait (a few weeks) before the blinds were ready, & they came out & installed them. The real test came a couple months later, when we noticed a flaw in one of the blinds.
We called & Maryalice asked for pictures to send to Hunter Douglas. That's all we needed to do, and we had the replacement blinds just a few weeks later-no hassle whatsoever. We highly recommend Blind Corners!

I love this Company. Not only their product but most especially their customer service. They are so friendly, communicate very quickly and are attentive to every need you have. And I am still waiting. While I regret posting again, it is the only way to get a response. I am without a kitchen blind due to inaccurate measurements and a second blind is not what I ordered. I was assured both were reordered in early March. Payment was made in good faith, the courtesy of returned calls and emails would be appreciated.

I dont usually write a negative review to any company BUT this is the WORST company ive ever encountered in my life. Way back October 2019 i met this couple John and Mary in a cal expo home and garden show. Which was very promising that they can make our masters bedroom totally black out with there hunter douglas amazing product. they went to our house to install around October 2019.
After the installation there was a big leake of light or space on the bottom of the blinds. John, blame our window that it was not even which i doubt so coz this a newly built home here in Westpark Roseville. I am thinking that john was OFF in his measurement he might need more materials so the blinds will fall down more on the bottom so it will fill in the gap. but he would never listen. came back twice but never resolve the problem. AND THE WORST THING IS ITS SO HARD TO REACH THEM ON THE PHONE. nobody is answering except the annoying voicemail of Mary Alice. NOW THEY LEFT THERE JOB WITHOUT ANY HI AND HELLO ANYMORE from October 2019 up to present never heard them anymore.
I already consulted our lawyer for this. for them to learn a lesson. The worst customer service ever in town. So watch out guys you will be the next victim. of BLIND CORNERS. i am just concern.

I am very disappointed in the unprofessional behavior demonstrated by Blind Corners during our attempt to get our shade repaired when the motor malfunctioned. The returned shade is filthy and the brackets were damaged in their attempt to reinstall the shade. They suggested I should pay for the new bracket. They will not return my calls to correct this situation.

We initially wanted to go with a major company that is popular in the area for blinds in our office building, however after their initial quote included an installation fee that was more than the blinds themselves, we decided to call Blind Corners. Blind Corners was nothing but prompt and professional from the initial phone call, to the in office estimate, to the prompt delivery and installation that was a week earlier than initially quoted. Hands down will be calling them and referring them to anyone looking for blinds in the area. Thank you for a great customer service experience

This is the second time we have used Blind Corners - Our first experience was absolutely perfect, good customer service, quick response and Our shutters looked beautiful. Fast forward to a new house and second experience was not as pleasant, however, John made everything right and fixed everything that was wrong in a timely professional manner! My new shutters look beautiful.

I am sorry to report that it has been several weeks now and still no return calls from Blind Corners. I contacted Hunter Douglas directly and they sent me a new bracket to replace the one damaged by Blind Corners. It has yet to be installed. Blind Corners response to my earlier comment was that the shade came back from Hunter Douglas without it being soiled.
I agree. The shade was not soiled when it left my home and trust that it was not soiled upon it's return. The only person that handled the shade upon it's return was their young installer. I informed them of this on a voice message but still no response.

Blind Corners is awesome! John has worked with numerous clients of mine, and he even did excellent work when installing the window coverings for our office. He's professional, prompt, and executed stellar work. When you're dealing with an owner operator you get another level of expertise and John is a good example of this value. This place is the worst as far as customer service. My husband and I spent over $10,000 for motorized blinds that need a 'hub' to operate. We have gone through 3 hubs that fail to operate. Each time we call, NO ONE calls back. We've left messages with employees as well as on their answering machine. No response. Calling Hunter Douglas Customer Service refers us back to Blind Corners. What a sham. Go elsewhere for your blinds. We're still waiting for a new hub and a return call.
