Steve went beyond my expectations to help me get my perfect front door and find me someone to install. I could not be happier! I very highly recommend working with them.

Every thing was resolved. Gabby made sure we were well taken care of, and the window frame was resolved, without us having to move any of the frame. The manufacture took care of the new window and Gabby made sure it all worked out. Thank you. Update: Working with The window and Door to resolve issue. Delay in response was due to holiday and personal time off, they assure me they were trying to resolve during the time off. Gabby seems to be on this with manufacture to solve issue.

Will post after solved. Previous post: We spent $7,000 plus on a service window. The window does not line up with frame, so it can't close much less lock. It's been 3 days since I contested the sales Rep and i get emails that someone will call me, but no one has.

We purchased a door from this shop earlier this year, and we were happy with the door itself. The sales person was easy to work with during the selection process, and we were pleased with the initial results. However, some of the information provided to us before the sale was misleading and lacking pertinent details. For that reason, 3 stars instead of 5.

Hi! You were all so helpful even when I came in without an appointment! Our new crank Marvin window replacement handles are perfect. They really freshened up the look of our frames. From start to finish the process was great. My salesman Steve was extremely helpful and available throughout. we started from a rough idea and narrowed it down to the finished product that once perfectly installed (by a vendor he recommended). I never thought i would be so happy about a door, but we are very happy with the end result. i would highly recommend the team at the window and Door shop if you want a put in a high end quality door.

The ordering process with Elia (reviewing samples, defining style, sizes, etc.) was especially easy and quick. The price of the door, while not inexpensive (+8K) was competitively and fairly priced when compared to two other contractors in the Sac area. As for the product, Jeld-Wen (Aurora Estate) makes a great product. And, it was the only oversized door that we could find that was fiberglass and yet looks like real beautiful wood (without the maintenance that a wood door would require since its placement has full weather exposure). Couldn't be happier with the contractor and the mfg.

I had some warranty work done recently on a high end double entry door. The door manufacturer directed the work to Sacramento Window and Door (the window & door shop), we had no control over this warranty work. In a nut shell, the doors were replaced due to cracking. I noticed after 2-3 mos the new doors suddenly became difficult to close. Closer inspection I found four hinge screws broken, resulting in the weight of the door pulling away from the frame.

Additional inspection found all the screws on my latch plate stripped. Sick and tired of crappy workmanship, I've done the repairs myself, requiring I tap and replace all the broken screws, and fill and re-tap the plate screws. The workmanship by this company was far less then needed for doors of this caliber.

We built a new home in 2019 and I wanted an extra large door with a specific design in mind. I emailed my ideas and was invited in to see what they had that was similar, immediately finding a door that I loved if it could be enlarged and a few changes made. Warren called the maker while I was there to ask if my alterations were possible. I was immediately impressed with the customer service and zero pressure for sales.

A few months later, our door was ready to be installed and looked exactly as envisioned. We did have an issue with the door itself, which was no fault of The Window and Door Shop, but solely that of CBW who made it. Warren and Gabby were easy to work with, kept communication between us and CBW, always there to assist and did everything they could to satisfy us as customers and make everything right in the end with the door. We appreciate their business and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Purchased Milgard Tuscany sliding patio door in 2014 which cost $1,500 including installation. During winter 2018, water leaked around the patio door. I had 2 repairmen look at the problem and they said the patio door was improperly installed. Keith, the installer at this store, checked it and blamed the leak on a patch job near the door and also told me that these doors need to be maintained/patched on yearly basis (I never heard this before about patio doors).

I had the area water sealed but this did not resolve the water leak. Also, called the manufacturer, Milgard, because of the lifetime warranty on the patio door but they said it was not a door problem and refused to fix it. Buyer beware!

These guys are horrible. We are a general contractor and used this company to purchase a couple of doors a few years ago. Service at that time was bad. People were impossible to get a hold of and took so many calls to get Warren to call back. Recently I needed to have them research the order I placed back then and again it took 2 weeks of calling to get the information I needed.

As a contractor time is critical to us to give customers information and there is no excuse for this. Don't recommend them at all Heritage One and Allied are much better companies to deal with. Don't shop with them you will regret it

I would like to express my thank you to The Window and Door Shop who responded so quickly to my request for an estimate. They advised me that I did not actually need to replace my windows, but rather suggested an alternative (repair) that saved me some money. Even though they could have made some money off my replacement, they were 100% honest and said it was not needed. I will definitely be calling them when I need replacement. It's rare to find such honest businesspeople.

I requested a quote online and a service rep got back to me within one business day. I asked for an adjustment to the service, and I received an immediate response with the new quote I had requested. I was sent a brochure and the ordering forms so that I could get exactly what I wanted. The service personnel communicated to me regularly to keep me updated, and my door was safely delivered at a time that was convenient to me. I will definitely be using The Window and Door Shop for my future door (and window) needs.

My utility door rarely used and frame was rotting due to exposure over the years. Spending money on a rarely used door did not make me happy. I contacted other door shops in the area and was met with a bevy of what they would or could do, none meeting completely what I needed. I contacted The Window and Door Shop spoke with Gaby and found a competent, courteous, friendly and comprehensive answer to my need.

We spoke a couple of times due to my questions interaction always a positive experience. Gabe their installer was highly skilled, very knowledgeable and very friendly. He explained further my issues and showed me how he would solve them. Ryan is the money guy. As expected paying for their phenomenal service and door was exceptional. Easy to do online securely.

I would highly recommend this business, in fact I am now looking at other doors/windows that need assistance. Make it easy on yourself, call The Window and Door Shop and save yourself some time. You will be rewarded and more than satisfied.

Our mid century home needed a new main entrance door and a security door. Steve was positive and professional in guiding us through the selection process and the finished product exceeds our expectations. What I have learned through my few years of home remodeling process, is to go off of first impressions. Online, this company has a great showroom, and workmanship, so they say. However, upon calling them today, I spoke to a woman Gabby perhaps? and she seemed as if I was bothering her. First and foremost, customer service is imperative when it comes to trusting a company to come to your home and do anything from a repair, to an easily $5-6,000 exterior door replacement.

I asked her if they do labor with only the doors from their showroom, or do they accept doors from other company's and then just do the labor. I then asked how to go about getting a quote or estimate for our exterior patio door installation. She was quite frankly rude. I apologized to her and let her know that I am sorry I do not know how their process is as other companies I have called have other processes.

She then asked me what is different that other companies do, etc. I simply told her that I do not think that this company would be a good fit for my home needs and hung up. My apologies Window and Door Shop, Inc., but you lost a high paying customer, while another gained. All over a simple 3 minute phone call at 2pm today.

Excellent service and workmanship! This is a locally owned company, display room has plenty of window and door options to view and inspect. Warren is knowledgeable, patient with out questions and did not push us to purchase one product over another. We also ordered a door with custom paint, the manufacturer (not Window & Door Shop) delivered a scratched door and erred on the color 3 times.

When manufacturer did not want to make it right Warren made sure the manufacturer provided the product we ordered. Window & Door performed the installation for both. Workmanship was great, installer professional (can't remember his name but new his stuff). I did some comparison shopping and the Window & Door had the best pricing for product and installation compare to other local companies and Home Depot. Would definitely use Window & Door again.

I called several local door shops in Sacramento and was unable to reach anyone. I left messages but calls weren't returned in a timely manner. When one person finally did call back, they didn't really seem interested in providing the information I needed for the variety of items I wanted to order. I was starting to panic because we were in the middle of repairs and the lack of service could delay construction.

Then through Yelp, I stumbled upon The Window and Door Shop on Bell Street off Arden Way. What a lucky find and what a different response! Phone calls are returned promptly by Diane and Troy. They took an interest in providing excellent service even though my job was tiny in comparison to others. I needed guidance on what to order to fit our needs: 2 bathroom windows with reeded glass to stand up to moisture in the bathroom; a good quality reeded glass pocket door to match; a custom pair of doors for a closet; plus a new, pre-hung, solid core door for the bedroom. Diane worked diligently to inform me of options and her recommendations with everything on my shopping list.

With her knowledgeable guidance and input, I was able to make the right choices (love the Milgard Essence casement windows) and stay on schedule. She was so patient with all of my questions plus extremely knowledgeable about brands, features, quality, installation, and just about anything else that came up. She asked all the right questions to insure that I purchased the right product with the right specifications for the job.

It was a pleasure working with Diane. We are looking forward to working with her again on window replacement and exterior doors in the near future. You couldn't ask for nicer people or better service.

I recently had the Window and Door Shop install a security door and repair two dual pane windows which had failed. Not only were they competitively priced but they did an absolutely outstanding job. They were on time, a rarity for most firms these days, and accomplished the work with a minimum of disruption. They actually appeared to want my business and to ensure that I was satisfied with the work before final payment. Dan F.

19 windows and 3 doors all Marvin Ultimate replacement. Warren worked hard at getting me exactly what I wanted. He made suggestions caught possible mistakes and didn't mine my constant revisions. I found the prices to be the best in town for my desired specs. I would have given him 5 stars if he caught my mistake on the direction 2 windows open but it wasn't his fault.
