Don't be fooled and give this company a chance despite their countless awful reviews like I did and don't take the money as a bride. This place is awful and any dealership will cringe when you tell them you went here. They have a sign bribing customers to leave 5 star reviews for a chance to win a TV because they know they can't get those 5 stars based on the work and experience they provide.

Wish I would have listened but learned my lesson the hard way. Got to this shop at 10am for my appointment, was told it would be done in less than hour. Then I was told that they did not have the glass they needed for my car and it would be there in "5-10 minutes" and it would be done "11:20-11:30 latest". I was completely understanding and patient.

At 11:45 I ask if my vehicle is almost finished only to be told, after asking 3 different people for help and having them all walk away without coming back for 10+ minutes, that the glass isn't even here after almost 2 hours. Here I was being patient and understanding thinking my car was almost finished and I could be on my way after being there for 2 hours and they have yet to even begin the job and no one said a word to me about it.

I demanded my keys and my car to leave to which it was explained that the windshield on my car was taken off and thrown away and the new one isn't here yet so I'm basically stuck there. Instead of telling me that the glass was taking longer to arrive than expected and seeing what I wanted to do, they let me sit there for 2 hours without a word or consideration for my time and day.

They then offered me one of their technician's vehicles to drive home and claimed they would bring my car to me "later". I was absolutely appalled that they expected me to take a strangers car and leave my car with them 40 minutes from my house and fully trust that they'd bring it to me "later". The lack of communication was absolutely awful and the complete disregard for my time and day of which 3 hours was wasted on something that should have taken 40 minutes.

The glass now makes a ridiculously loud noise when I drive because they slapped it on in 5 minutes. The guy running the shop was nice and did try to make it up to me by offering a free tint on the shield and a few other things but my trust in this company and these people is ruined. I've never felt so uncomfortable and helpless with a business in my life. I'm understanding and patient with everything, but blatantly wasting 3 hours of my day and doing a bad job is my limit. Im in the process of filing a claim with my insurance that this was a awful experience and glass job and redirecting my claim to a glass shop recommended by my dealership who could not believe my experience with this place and literally cringed when I told them it was A&E auto glass, if that doesn't say it all I don't know what does.

Do not go here period, call your dealership, invest some money into and get it done by the right people. The cash back is not worth this nightmare. Also do not contact me trying to save your image by offering me free movie tickets or anything else, laughable really. I don't want freebies out of this, I just want other people to be aware.

If only there was a minus star! I've waited a long time to write this review only because I was waiting to see a possible turn around in the ratings received by A&E. I check this yelp page often and think this company would need a full time employee just to respond to all the negative ratings etc etc. I have sent a text to the owner over 2 months ago but got zero response as I expected.

I have used their service twice. Once paying cash for replacement of windshield of my Mercedes and once replacing my wife's windshield in her Hyundai Sonata Base Model. My wife's car was replaced through insurance. I had the Hyundai job done first. I went to their office and only waited an hour or so and back then I picked up the $140 check when I left the shop.

All was good. A couple of months later I had the Mercedes glass replaced at the shop. I'd called 2 days before to make sure they'd have the glass in stock. Sure I was told. Well it took 3-4 hours to replace that glass, not cuz the job was difficult because of course they had to go get it somewhere else. If only I'd known then what I was soon to find out later. Months passed by.then a call from my Insurance company about the job that had been done by A&E in regards to my wife's car. I'd gone through the insurance company because I had glass coverage on the vehicle.

Next I knew the insurance company wanted to come to my house to inspect the job performed on the Hyundai. I set up a time for the Insurance Glass Inspector to come to my house get pictures and proceed. Something fishy was going on for sure. I was asked at the time not to post anything on social media about the visit so I didn't. A month passed by and I had yet another visit from the Insurance Inspector, this time to get an affidavit from me about A&E invoice they'd sent to the insurance company.

The invoice was padded with work that hadn't been done. The invoice that was paid by my insurance company was for $1700. Our insurance went up due to the claim for service being over $1000, they put the claim in for $1700 and signed my name to the claim. Insurance fraud and fraudulent signing of a claim. A claim in which A&E got paid out for. Business practices are fishy at best!

This was a no hassle great experience. They were true to their word about their certificate and their check. I had a wonderful dinner with my husband and I also have glass I can see through now again without worrying that it's gonna shatter even further on me in the road. Definitely recommending them to everybody I know that talks to me about glass and will definitely use them again in the future!

Horrible, horrible, horrible company. First of all the guy that replaced my windshield was late and was very unprofessional. After the windshield was installed, I noticed that my windshield wipers were not touching my windshield. My mechanic told me the wiper arms were bent and needed to be replaced. The old ones were completely ruined. I contacted the company more than once and got no response. Then, the next time I was driving my van in the rain, it started leaking.

There was water coming in around the top of the windshield. Now, I am having the windshield replaced by Safelite, a real auto glass company, and they tell me that there is rust all around the area where the windshield sits because whoever installed the windshield did a horrible job. I may have to take my van to a body shop to have the damage repaired.

A and E Auto Glass is a horrible, horrible company. They do horrible work and don't fix their mistakes. I wish I had read reviews before I hired them. I was tricked by a free dinner and a small refund that took six months to receive and I had to drive an hour across town to get the check. A nd E Auto Glass is a horrible company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

I had to tell the woman on the phone I wanted a windshield repair and not replacement at least 5 times before she finally stopped trying to convince me I was making a mistake. Once the repair was scheduled the agent came out the next day (providing 15 minutes notice of arrival in the 4 hour window I was given, despite having been told they would contact me day of with a better estimate of arrival time) and refused to even attempt repair because the crack was larger than an inch.

I had informed both individuals I spoke with at the company of how large the crack was prior to the repair ever being setup. I guess that's the kind of service I should've expected from a company that has admittedly been sued for fraud on multiple occasions. I called Veteran Auto Glass as soon as the other agent had left and they had someone to my residence within 3 hours and repaired the crack. Never tried to push me toward replacement or bribe me with the cash incentive for doing such.

I used A & E in the past. They were way outside of the appointment time then. However, they did good work and had the best rebate offer, so I decided to use them again to replace my windshield. I don't know if if because of the changes in management/ownership or what, but my current experience is worst that I've ever experienced (outside of Cox cable services, but that's for a different review).

I have been back and forth between them and the insurance company numerous times since September 4th. They schedule then don't show up or call. I call 5hem to find out when they will be out and they then say that my insurance company needs to inspect my vehicle. The insurance company saus that no inspection is required for a windshield replacement.

I relay that information along the reference number of the approval from my insurance company and they still say that a inspection is needed. Ok fine. The insurance company comes out, inspects, and gives the ok for the replacement. Then A & E says that they can come out and advises me of a $1000.00 deductibles. I do not have a deductible. (As I'm writing this review, I am hung up on for the second time this morning while trying to find out why A & E again did not show up to replace the windshield). This is a very sorry company that I definitely will not use again and would advise anyone else to choose better.

Stay away from this business. There is a good chance that you will never see the 140.00 they offer to replace your windshield. I have used them several times in the past but they are under new management now. I have contacted them several times since my windshield was replaced in late March and still have no check from them. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and even emailed the owner last month. NOTHING. Don't bother with them find a reputable place that will follow through on paying you to fix your windshield.

I had a windshield replaced them about a year ago. They were supposed to mail me my rebate check. After a month or so I thought maybe the check got lost in the mail so I emailed them. There first response was they changed the processing company that processes their rebates. I was told it would take about another month. That time came and went and still no rebate check.

The last time they responded to me I was told my check was getting mailed out February 5th. It is now 09/08/2020 and still no check. They won't even reply to my messages any more.

Wow! Called for a quote for two cars and they acted like they were giving me a great deal on the second car! After calling around, found out they were giving me the shaft on the quote. Do yourself a favor call around for estimates first and don't use these guys! Very bad! Dishonest

My experience hasn't been very great overall. I had 2 windshield replacements on an ATS and Tahoe done. Both times it was a sub contractor and there were issues both times. On the ATS, the incorrect windshield model was installed. The folks asked me multiple times if I had rain sensors for wipers and I told her no multiple times. The tech installed the window and when I came to look at it I noticed the circle behind my rear view mirror.

Well it just shows metal because I don't have the sensor. The work in the Tahoe was worse because they left residue all over and there is now a slight rattle in our mirror. Also, I never received my cash back offer for the second window job. The company sited they were experiencing many issues and it would be resolved. That never occurred. I know there are at 100 others that haven't received the cash back either. I will not support this business in the future and anyone should be cautious if you choose to do so.

Same story as most on here. I also fell for the promise of a rebate in 30 days. It has been 8 months. Update The new owner and a Manager reached out to me and were able to get the issue resolved. Thy also explained the delay and their current policy changes. They say they now give the check at the time of the repair. I will check into it if I need a nother windshield.

My windshield was replaced in August of 2019. I completed all of the $140 rebate process promptly, and was given the typical email saying it was being processed. I waited beyond the 6-8 week waiting period, and finally emailed in February asking for a status update. I was given a canned answer that basically said that they were in a transitional stage in merging with another company, and the rebate would be processed as soon as possible.

Nothing happened and no communication for 2 more months. This morning, while watching the news I saw a commercial from them offering an "instant $140 rebate". I see what they're doing here, appealing to all the folks needing money in this pandemic and chasing that business, and freeing up the rebate funds but further delaying the ones already owed. Terribly unethical!

I emailed the contact from A & E today and was told the following: Your rebate for w/o # 670102 was scheduled to be sent out on 3/14/2020. Our rebate program is temporarily paused as of 3/2/2020. Any rebates scheduled on and after that date will be affected by the pause and rebates will be delayed. We do not know how this pause will affect the sending of your rebates specifically and apologize for the frustration.

We are working hard to try and get this taken care of, I do apologize, We will send it out as soon as we can. You can call and speak to a manager at any time at extension 112. Unfortunately this is the only information I have available to me at this time I tried to call them today per the instructions above but was told that nobody was available to speak to me on the weekend.

At this point I have made 3 follow-up attempts with A & E and have received no communication from them that have not been prompted. If the rebate program was "paused" on 3/2, and and the hundreds of others in this boat should have been proactively notified without hesitation. I can see why they're in the process of changing their name! I need to know how this is going to be made right ASAP!

And plllleeeaaaase don't waste my time with a canned answer on here saying you'll look into just to show you responded. I don't want a response unless it details a specific time-oriented solution.

I don't want to leave this but I have to. My windshield was replaced in late November of 2019, it's 4/17/2020 and almost 5 months after I still don't have my $120 I have called 4 times given different answers Everytime and today I was just told ALL yes ALL rebates have been suspended. So all this seems like is they get your business get insurance to pay them and won't pay you and keep making excuses. And we all know what they say about excuses. They are like @$$holes we all have one. Except A&E has multiple.

I went with this company because they were recommended by a news station I trusted, they also had commercials on TV. My insurance paid them on 9/15/2019 and I never got the $120 rebate that was promised within 30 days of insurance payout. I have called about half a dozen times and each time I get a different story of when my check is scheduled to be mailed.

I understand times are tough but if you are unable to provide payment for these rebates maybe you should stop advertising them on the media. They get two stars because I actually got a glass and the repair man was very nice and respectful. However, I just got the glass on one of my side passenger doors (small triangle glass), they failed to install adhesive and weatherstrip.

There is nothing I could do through my insurance at this point because I waived my right to have insurance install through Safelite. --big mistake. If you need to replace a glass on your car please listen to your insurance company and go with their provider to ensure your glass is installed properly, this isn't worth it. If you don't need the rebate don't do it, and if you do need the rebate I feel sorry for you because you will be waiting for the rebate for 6 month or more.if you ever even get the rebate at all.

I just got off the phone with a lady who promised to mail my check out by 4/12, if I don't get the check by the end of this month I will be looking into legal action or "3 ON YOUR SIDE". Your word should be your bond and insurance fraud should not be taken lightly.

Funny how we just got this ad in our mail, and nowhere does it state that they do a rebate, which is what they did with us. Back in October of 2019. last time I called the lady said I would t receive my rebate offer until FEBRUARY. Idk what they're doing with their money, if they're taking funds from others to pay off other rebates. but this is total bate and switch tactic.

I was never informed this would be a rebate either until after the work was done. They did an okay job I suppose, but the glass used was pretty weak, as we got chips in our windshield not too long after. Go someplace else

Called them to have my rear window replaced after hearing their advertisement on the radio moments after it cracked. They put me through to a third party that still honored their deal. Service was great from all parties. Edit: the check they gave me returned unpaid

Had my windshield replaced on my 2019 traverse back in September 20with a guaranteed $140 rebate. First of all the windshield cracked after install and it was kind of a hassle to get them to fix it although it eventually got fixed. Then we were told the rebate would come after insurance paid them, well insurance paid and they gave us a date of when we could expect the rebate. It's now February-and still no rebate. We've gotten excuse after excuse and when we call to talk to someone about it no one answers, we've left several voicemails with no return call. Granted I don't NEED the money but if a company promises you a rebate they should pay it.

Their customer service is horrible and I won't be using them again. Update: after several more calls and emails finally received our refund check in March. We deposited it and it freaking BOUNCED. This company is a joke. Take your business elsewhere.

I never write bad reviews typically because I work in Customer Service and I know what it's like on the "other side". Unfortunately this company has scammed so many people, I feel the need to speak up. My windshield was replaced in May 2019 and I'm still waiting on my refund check. I keep hearing they are "experiencing a slight setback in processing" and the check will be out in 4-6 weeks.

I highly doubt there was ever intent to send one in the first place. Just a scam to get people in the door and I'm sad to say it worked on me. My insurance has already paid so I will probably never see the check just like all their other customers are saying. Do not reward this company by using their services.

Wow I really should have read some reviews before using this company. The reason I chose this company to do my service was the rebate - I got my service done back in October 2019 and I am getting a run around about my rebate. Mind you, my insurance paid A & E auto glass around November 1st. accounting delays are understandable- but this is the second time now that it is pushed off and now nobody can even give me a date. Definitely will report to the BBB

While it's true they have gone to a rebate check for the cashback, from what I gather, this way is more reliable. I mean it is the largest cashback offer in the valley! As far as service goes, they were awesome! The waiting room is comfortable with free snacks and drinks! Very family friendly, There's an arcade console with over 600 games!

Just like everyone else said this place is a joke. The replaced glass chipped super easy and is definitely not OEM quality. Second it was installed Aug 23rd and still no check. Every time we call they lie and say it's in the mail or they had fraud on their end. Every call is a different story to get you off the pho DONT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WONT BE IN BUSINESS MUCH LONGER TREATING CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. Update. After calling and talking to the owner we finally received a check in the mail for $30 less than the advertised amount.

I would never give this company 5 stars. This is a follow up NOT to use A&E. I was scheduled on a Saturday and went to their shop a few weeks ago. The workers removed my windshield without confirming they had my replacement there. While sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes I was informed that my windshield was not delivered. The workers were told to put my windshield back on.

They installed it back on improperly where I had to drive around with my "safety device" that could fall out at anytime while driving. I had air coming through the windshield too! If I had got in a car accident I could have been severely injured do to the improper installation. Not only was it improperly installed the adhesive could have damaged my paint on my car. As you can see from the windshield photos they scraped off what would have kept the windshield properly installed. GO WITH SAFELITE!

So not only did it take almost 2 months to get my 120.00 check. When I finally got it, the check got returned for insufficient funds. Now it's nearly impossible to get of hold of anyone from A&E. Worst service ever. Now I have a return check fee on my account. I'm a very unhappy customer. Update: Sherolyn was great and was able to Zelle me the money, including the insufficient funds fee. This was too much of a hassle, sad to say I won't be using A&E any more. Keep in mind I have used them 3x in the past.

Same story as many others on here. Was promised a check and nothing has come yet. My service was May 4th, so I'm pretty sure insurance has paid them. I tried calling several times and it was a joke. Over 20 minutes on hold and no answer. It would of been faster just to walk there and talk to theI don't have all day to wait on the phone A&E! It'll be interesting to see why kind of excuse I get when I finally get ahold of them!

Will be using someone else next time I need a windshield, hopefully a company that actually keeps their promises! UPDATE: I just checked my claim on my insurance app and it says it has been closed. To me that means it has been completed, so I don't know why I was told it was still pending in my response I got. It sounds like I don't want a check anyways, because it will just bounce like all of the others have had happen. Don't worry guys these people will be in jail or really broke soon!

After working with A&E's customer experience manager to resolve my previously referenced windshield issue they still fell well short of expectations and satisfaction. The end result is a poor quality of glass that was used/installed as it fails to repel the sun's heat even after ceramic tint applied. I was offered a tint strip to aid in reducing the heat felt on the steering wheel, etc. There's definitely an opportunity for better communication by A & E prior to and after installation (issues, etc.) of a windshield.

If you say, you're going to use quality products that are equivalent or better than the previous windshield, then please follow through for your new or returning customers in the future. Follow up. I've never had a tint strip on the vehicle. Your tint installer only put it on to help with blocking out the heat until I can have the previous brand of glass put in.

Updated June 2019, the owner is a nice guy. He reached out to me personally after this review and did an instant reimbursement through Zelle quick pay. Granted this was still a night mare experience, I appreciate his demeanor and willingness to fix this no questions asked. -- I'm truly interested in how the star rating seems so high. UPDATE ON FRAUDULENT CHECK Just got off the phone with my bank, the check written by A&E auto glass bounced.

My bank charged me for depositing a check that had " insufficient funds" luckily I bank with Chase and they always have my back. BEWARE. So here is the list of my experience over the last few days: - I show up to my scheduled appointment on a Wednesday I drove 30 minutes. they tell me the appointment was accidentally scheduled on Monday. I had to drive home. - I had to reschedule the second appointment made on Thursday, it would have been impossible for them to get to my location (which I mentioned to the receptionist the day before, she was super nice though.) - I rescheduled for MONDAY my day off. - I get a call on Friday saying they were on their way to me. at which I said no. we scheduled for Monday?

I switched to my home address, my home address was recited back to me. - I get a call MONDAY and they are in the work address I gave days ago, NOT the rescheduled HOME address I had recited back to me by the rep. This was an absolute **** show. I'm very patient in general, I rarely write bad reviews but this is just unbelievable. So disorganized, hardly worth the time and energy it takes to support this local business and the incentives they offer.

It even says in my notes 2 dinners for the mess up. and I ONLY GOT ONE. Yikes. I will give credit to both Jacob and Tricia for being friendly and on top of things. 2 stars simply because my encounter with both of these two have been wonderful. The moment I made the first appointment I should have known. The guy answered "HELLO?" and I had to ask. "Um is this the glass shop?" The first man who scheduled the very first incorrect appointment was unpleasant and uncomfortable over the phone and it spiraled into this mess. I would certainly caution against the organization of this company.

I heard the ads for this company on the radio every every day and figured I'd go with them over one of the big companies to support a small, local business. I had a windshield installed in my 2002 F250 on Friday, 28 September. The two guys that showed up and did the work sratched my hood, damaged the material on my headliner, broke one of the fasteners that holds the wiper cowling in place, didn't install one if the screws in another part of the wiper cowling, broke one of the attachment ears off on the wiring harness holder under the hood, left a bunch of pieces of old glue and metal shards in my driveway and under the wiper cowling (heres a tip: how about some old blankets over the hood and dash to prevent damage and to keep all the old adhesive from going everywhere?) Now I see why they handed me the paperwork to sign and split before i had a chance to look at the work.

But hey i did get $120. Yay! Too bad I'll spend it all buying replacement parts and repairing stuff to put my truck back to the condition it was in before they put the windshield in it. I'm very particular with my vehicles and normally do my own work. Unfortunately when it comes to something like a windshield you are at the mercy of the company doing the work. Next time I'll go with a big company.

What a horrible company. I called on a Monday and they couldn't schedule me until Friday. Mind you I have a 2 foot crack along my drivers side windshield obstructing my vision but I decided I'd wait. Thursday night they called and told me the glass was out of stock and they had to reschedule for Monday between 9am-1pm. 12:15pm rolls around Monday and I decide to call and check in. 35 minutes on hold for them to tell me it's still out of stock. Really?

You couldn't have called me in the morning to tell me you weren't even coming? You weren't gonna tell me at all! I had to call to find out. Use someone who appreciates your business and knows how business works. Ps why spend all this money on radio ads, billboards and marketing if your average time to pick up the phone is 30 minutes?

I had to call 3 times and every time I waited an average of 30 minutes to speak to someone. Stop spending all that money on marketing and hire a staff. Such a poorly ran business.

Decided to try A&E after seeing all the ads around town. I was skeptical at first but the entire process was smooth and professional. Andrew helped me with the insurance and scheduling. He answered all questions and was patient with all the calls. They recently updated to a computer system but were polite and accommodating. It takes at least 2 days for an appointment.

Super cozy and lounge area. Snacks and drinks available. Small seating area for about 5 people. The job only took about 45 min and the screen was updated throughout the process for the car which was visible in the lobby. The staff double checked the car before they started working and even walked through the process with me. George and Jamie were superb and even cleaned up the mess from a previous windshield job from a different company.

They took the extra time to fix the sensor box when we pointed out the concern. A check and voucher to Rodizio was given at the end of the service. No issues with the windshield so far and the entire experience was the best yet.

In my 50 years I can honestly say that this has been THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED! It gets worse. After 10 days of waiting and the above on-line complaint I finally got a call. 45 minutes and a promise to take care of me just to get a text later telling me I should get my windshield replaced elswhere. WOW! It took 4 hours to go from thank you to F.U. via text. What a nightmare.
