Thermal Windows/J&M Glass Company Incorporated

When planning to replace *every* window in my house and the sliding glass door, I got estimates from three different companies, including Thermal Windows. Not only was the Thermal Window estimate at least $10,000 less than the other two, I was impressed with the interaction when Taylor Harbert came out to the house. He explained information in language that was easy to understand, and answered all my questions thoroughly.

I did not feel pressured to make a quick decision, and when I emailed Taylor after his visit, he answered other questions that I had. It was also important to me that Thermal Windows is a local company that makes the windows it sells and that the installers are company employees, not contracted labor. The installation went well. The installers were courteous and careful when moving furniture to access windows.

The removal of the existing windows and ongoing clean up during installation was spotless! I LOVE my new windows, and my neighbors have complemented them as well. I would recommend Thermal Windows enthusiastically.

I have a sliding glass door in my home that was in need of some repairs- track & rollers were failing. When I discovered Thermal Windows sold and installed the windows and doors to the former owner of my home in 2008 I called in need of some repairs. I was immediately informed that there would be no warranty since I am not the original purchaser. I understood and replied that " I still need the repairs". Thermal Windows then sent a representative to assess the repair and necessary parts.

After not hearing back, I called for a status update and was told the parts were on back order. I again understood. I called again after no response and was told the parts were no longer available. Thermal Windows then sent another representative that measured the door frame with little or no explanation and left. I then received a quote for $6,500. to replace the entire door assembly.

I have a hard time believing that if this were a warranty issue that Thermal Windows would have replace the entire door. It feels as if they don't want to stand by their product because maybe it doesn't pay enough. If I do end up replacing the entire door it certainly won't be with Thermal Windows. I ended up fixing it myself in two hours for $100. worth of parts. i went to Richardson Door and Hardware and found all the necessary parts. They were very helpful and identified the necessary parts immediately.

After shopping around for windows for quite a while, I called Thermal Windows and was blown away by their service. Donny was extremely knowledgeable and guided me through the entire process. The pricing was much better than I received from other companies, and the quality was far superior. Looking forward to saving money on my electric bill which will pay these off in no time. This company is outstanding and so are its employees. I had all the windows in my house replaced and the new ones are gorgeous! I live off an access road and the traffic noise is almost non-existent now. Taylor Harbert did my estimate and he was great. They were absolutely on time with everything. Junior, Raphael, Jesus and Eli did the install. They were fast but did an outstanding job on the install and they cleaned up beautifully. They were always on time. If I could give 10 stars I would. Sales team and installation crew was very professional and friendly. They did a great job and the picture windows and slider window look fantastic. They were hard at work all 5 days even though it was bitter cold outside two days. The installation crew spent a lot of attention to detail, and left nothing behind. Everything was picked up and clean. Thermal Windows offered everything I was looking for in a replacement window.

They designed and installed Thermalized Black Aluminum Triple pane energy efficient windows through out my house. Thermal Windows was very affordable for high end replacement windows and I would definitely recommend them.

Thermal Windows was fantastic from start to finish. We got quotes from a handful of other companies before finding Thermal Windows. We were not satisfied with any of the other quotes because they either couldn't get us exactly what we wanted, they were way more costly than what we expected, or they lacked professionalism. Thermal Windows was able to get the exact windows and frame color we wanted. John, our sales rep, had some creative solutions for getting us the big open picture window look we liked while still allowing them to open for ventilation.

Where other companies simply said no, Thermal Windows and John figured out how to make it happen. It was also very reasonable cost for a big job. The lead time for getting the windows was long but the same as what every company quoted us (just the way things are now) and they came in right when expected. The installers were quick, polite, and on schedule.

There were a couple Issues that popped up during install (due to no fault of theirs) but they figured out how to fix them and make the windows look great. The front office was pleasant to work with, they were always speedy, great with follow up, and on time. If you are window shopping, you absolutely need to give Thermal Windows a call. If you are just getting started, save your self the the time and headache and call them first.

We are extremely happy with Thermal Windows, and the service they provided from the beginning to the end with our new windows installation. Their attention to detail was expectacular along with their installers, being professional at what they do best of the best. I will highly recommend this company to anyone that are looking to improve their windows.

I ordered over 40 windows for new construction. Over $10,000 in windows. As we're installing we notice there are splits in the nail fins on almost every window corner. I called the manufacturer and spoke to the. manager who claims this is the way they are made and the fins are simply just snapped onto the windows. After I asked him how would I make sure my windows are water tight, he claims that I should "just use some silicone" Silicone is the last resort product for water proofing.

A properly installed new construction window should technically not require silicone. But that's the best answer they could give me. I highly suggest going else where for your new windows. Make sure when you're.

5 star satisfied with Thermal Windows DFW. We had 11 windows replaced in 2015 and then had the remaining six replaced in 2018. I did not want vinyl windows and got an aluminum frame (brown) instead. We decided to have two kitchen windows replaced with solid glass model instead of the type that can be opened. We were shocked by the beautiful. view and openness it added to our rather small kitchen.

We decided to leave the blinds we ordered in the box and put them in storage. The windows have performed without issue and have made a significant improvement to the former leaky windows. Communication and installation went flawlessly. On a side note, I had a good friend that used Thermal Windows to replace their home windows a few years earlier. They had quotes from different companies. They said Thermal Windows was competitive with the other companies, BUT had much better reviews. I did not look any further.

Our windows and door turned out beautiful but the timeline and communication has been disappointing. We are now waiting for installation of our door handle and were told they would be here this week (before inspection.very important) and were just now told on the day of inspection that they won't be here until next week. That means we won't be moving in this weekend after all, and the family we have coming in town will now have to pay to stay in a hotel the whole time.

Did a great job on the installation and price but one of their employees scratched our kitchen sink and did not put back on the handle they removed for the in wall gas heater in our bedroom bathroom. My wife contacted them but did not get any response about replacing them or fixing them. I listed the problem on the warranty card I mailed off and. still did not get any response. Update: They contacted me and have ordered a replacement handle for the gas heater and are trying to find a company that can polish out the scratches in the kitchen sink.

J&M installed 32 windows in our home over the past 4.5 days. From the salesman (Ricky) to the install team (Reuben) everyone did a fantastic job. We had builder grade windows before and were very impressed by the amount of insulation put into each window frame. And you would have never known anyone was here - the team cleaned up every day. Excellent job and we will definitely recommend you!
