With the help of Computer-Aided Design software and by using our CNC router, we are able to make any kind of shaped shutter imaginable. It's our goal to make the plantation shutters seamless with the rest of the house. These windows can sometimes be problematic with regards to the framing since the arch isn't the same width as the shutters below.

Amazing customer service, beautiful craftsmanship, on time, on budget. absolutely the nicest people. Ask for Mike Coronado. he is meticulous about getting the measurements right no matter how tough the job (my 5 oversized 6' windows were a very tall order!) and he will make sure installation goes well and the finished product is gorgeous! We are very happy with our shutters!

My husband and I recently purchased a brand new home with a LOT of windows. We knew that coming into this project of getting shutters, it would be expensive, but price aside, after reading a lot of reviews, it was also going to be about the quality of the shutters and the installation job. We decided to go with Universal Window Coverings, instantly after meeting with Mike Coronato.
He was very flexible with our schedule, brought samples and walked us through the process, was super nice and easy to be around.but the biggest upsell that no one could compete with is their express plan. We had pay the amount 100% up front, but in return, we were able to get the shutters in 4-5 weeks, we got them in 4. Custom made here in TX, great product, competitive price, fastest turnaround, and excellent customer service. We highly recommend them and would use them again. We built our house in 2005 and had every window except one small window in the bathroom covered with Plantation Shutters from Universal Window Coverings. They did an excellent job and completed the project on time. The Shutters were installed when they promised and the Installation was perfect. They did exactly what they promised to do. There price was competitive and there was no up charges or hassle.
Recently we had the one bathroom window covered with a plantation shutter. They matched the originals perfectly. They handled this one small shutter just like it was a major project. It was installed exactly like they promised. If we every build another house or need any window coverings in the future we will use only Universal Window Coverings.
