Had our kitchen and patio door replaced using Southgate Glass about 6 years ago. Decided to replace all remaining old (single pane) windows since we were so pleased with our initial purchase. I was searching for window replacements and came across an ad for Southgate.called and a very friendly, informative lady told me we could just replace the glass? What? No one else offered that PLUS they can replace screens- frame with pet screening! There were fast to schedule only a week out. My window was 12 to 5 for installation. Sean called that morning at 930 to come early!

It was perfect. He and Chris were friendly, respectful and very efficient. I had a morning meeting and they accommodated that by replacing screens first then set to work on replacing the double paned glass in 3 windows. Very impressed and would definitely recommend Southgate! These guys ROCK!

This is an update to a previously incorrect score I accidentally posted of 2 stars. They are seriously a 10 out of 5. They've helped me twice and each time I can't imagine being any happier.

We had window glass, windows, and doors upgraded from The originals installed 40 or 50 years ago. The prices are reasonable and the service is great so I would go there again without hesitation.

Did the install in a timely manner but they need to work on the 45° Joints they dont line up at all really sorry to say that but as a installer for granite and marble myself 45° joints are not hard at all to do. They also need to clean up when they are done that a big part of installing in someone home clean up when you are done with the installation I would have not said anything but there are kids here like little kids 2 and 3 and for them to leave a lot of little Plastic all over is just a bad look for them I would have thought that they were going to go the next mile and Clean up after themselves

What an Awesome experience! From the showroom working with Spencer in-choosing our windows to the installation process. We bought 7 windows/retrofit beautiful Milgard windows. Oh and I did not have to file for permits, their special person at office does that for us! So cool not to have to go to the county to purchase permits. So our windows were backordered by a month or so, but what isn't these days?

The installation day came, they arrived 30 minutes early and set up and laid a runner down Inside the home and rooms. They cleaned up afterward with no residue anywhere. Super polite, very informative And explained what I need to show the inspector. I was so impressed by the installation, the installers, and love my windows! Saving energy/sound proof! Worth the cost! I needed new glass in my front windows. (5) After the installers arrived they found that the person that measured made a couple mistakes. Long story short, Rafael took the lead and was very professional in correcting the mistakes. I'd you need just glass Southgate Glass is the folks to call. I can't believe we waited as long as we did to do this. I thought we were going to have to replace our two sliding glass doors. Southgate Glass was able to repair our existing doors and now they slide like a dream.

Do Not Buy From Southgate! They refuse to stand behind their products. We reviewed a couple years ago -- it took them over a year to replace a broken glass window in our custom door. In September, 2021 the locking mechanism broke. We had to call a locksmith, and he had to drill the lock. Months ago, our contractor contacted Southgate's Window Sales Project Manager who sold us the custom door, and put in the order for a new locking mechanism.

The Manager took the order, assured our contractor it was on order and was just held up. The Manager stopped answering calls and texts. Our contractor stopped by last week to leave a note, and bumped into the Manager, who was there, despite our contractor being told the Manager would not be there. The Manager admitted he NEVER placed the order with AG Millworks. SO our door, now 5 months later, is still not operable. And it is a custom lock. Another vendor cannot just install a new cylinder. Beautiful product from AG Millworks--definitely NOT worth it if it means relying on Southgate.

Absolutely awful experience. Installation was poorly done. Tons of scratches on Slider and broker screen door. Been waiting 8 months for repairs. Blaming the manufacturer Milgard the whole time. Should have ordered through another company.

This is not our first time using Southgate Glass and I assure you it won't the last neither. They were very efficient, courteous and professional every time we've used them. Although this work request wasn't a large job it wasn't easy to get to due existing landscape our 2 very large Anatolian Shepherds and a large tree adjacent to the window needing to be repaired.

They were done in no time, didn't inconvenience us at all and for the exception of a couple loud warning barks at first, our 2 guardians kept an eye on them but wasn't bothered by them through job complete. Thank you Southgate Glass.

They offered to come out and look after this was posted. I fixed it with duct tape so my dad would not cut his leg again.

Update: Thank you for responding and taking our concerns seriously. Not every business cares and I appreciate the effort.

We just completed a project with Southgate Glass that included all windows in our home. The whole process was positive from obtaining a bid to completion. The bid was competitive and reasonable for current rates. The project started on time and was completed in 4 days for 25 windows. The workers showed up on time every day and cleaned up the debris as well as discarded the old windows. Antonio, the project lead on-site, was professional and communicated updates with us daily. Antonio worked around a few issues with our window coverings, saving us a lot of time and stress. We highly recommend this company for windows. We've had a lot of work done on our older home and this was by far the best experience.

Poor customer service, spoke to a lady who said to send in pictures for an estimate and received no response back. She sounded very rude to begin with especially when you ask questions. I would not recommend this place! Unreliable, unresponsive and rude!

We were very pleased with Southgate Glass. They scheduled an appointment quickly, were timely and processed the paperwork quickly. It took 2 men to fix the window because of the weight and positioning, and they did an amazing job at matching everything perfectly. They were professional but also fun to work with.

I've had seven windows installed by Southgate Glass in the past and now I need to have a very large kitchen window replaced. The person named Michelle that I talked to this morning said they would not come out for only one window to give me an estimate and their windows start at $1500 and I would have to send a picture and measurements. I told her thank you for her time and I would be shopping around but not going to Southgate Glass anymore.

Worst company ever. Gave a dimension and they had NO clue on pricing. They are a middle man; they must buy their glass from someone else and mark it up because they have zero clue on their own pricing under "after they get back to you". Can't hold even a simple co versatile with them.

Horrible measuring! Every window had a different degree. Took 6 months to get windows. Windows were all damaged after they said they weren't damaged. All they do is blame everyone else. They don't take any responsibility. There main guy that comes out to measure windows literally told me to tilt the window to fix it. A big joke milgard should stop letting them use there product. ANDERSON WINDOWS!

I was directed to this business by Milgard to order parts for my screen door. My initial interactions were positive. The receptionist took my information and said she'd get back to me that day. Well that didn't happen. I called the next morning and I spoke with Michael. He took my information and said he's get back to me. I had to call him back as well.

This time I got Estavan and got the same line. Although he asked me to email images of the parts I needed. Did that and he responded a couple of days later asking me for the person I spoke with the week before. I called back and got Michael this time. Told him I sent the pictures to estavan. Then I forwarded the email to Michael. Two weeks later and no one has called back and I'm still without the parts. Pretty sad how customer service is these days. They may be a good company but with this experience I'd be leery to do business with them in the future.

I've used them several times before. They have done a perfect job every single time.

Don't do business with Southgate Glass. I found this company online and hired them to replace my sliding screen doors at a total of $800 for both doors, about two or three weeks later my bedroom screen slider comes off tract, I called and it was fixed, more than two months later my kitchen screen door slider started to stick, I can't open the door more than half way before it sticks.

I called this morning for them to fix the problem and am now being charged another $120 to have it fixed. For this amount of money spent, If you want to fall into same problem better hope your problem happens before the two months. I don't recommend this company and I will never use them again. I have never written such a horrible review before but enough is enough with these companies taking advantage of people. The least they could do is extend warrant to 6 months or up to a year since they charge so much for products.

We had a great experience with Southgate Glass. They were quick to come out and give us an estimate for a couple window screens and a window repair, and their prices were reasonable. Rick M. came out and did a great job with the work that needed to be done. Rick was personable and extremely down-to-earth. I appreciated the way in which Rick (politely) provided window education while also providing window services. Additionally, I appreciate that Rick worked around our nosey cat while he worked :)

Extremely unprofessional; you will be told to expect call back but no one ever calls. I even followed up after 5 months no response. Please give true commitment to your client.

Do not use this company if you want.1. A call back after they say they will call you, I have been told 5 times min I would receive a call back with answers about my order NOTHING 2. The truth. I can't even type all the lies we have been told about our order. 3 times our windows and doors are in.3 times they are absolutely not in. Get up and go check if they are or aren't stop lying. 3. Timely windows.

I know these are tough times, but we ordered our windows in October and we are missing 4 windows and a 16ft slider, one window they wrote down wrong and had to order new. I get you can't control The manufacturers but if I have majority of my windows and not 6 of them and I ordered in October, you guys are screwing up. Own up to it. Compensation for the amount of time we have had to wait for your lack of competency.

It cost nothing to pick up a phone and demand answers from "your suppliers" it cost nothing to do what you say you're going to do and "call back". Stop sending emails saying it's a misunderstanding. We can only have so many misunderstandings before you need to write some wrongs. You have been a nightmare to work with, and we aren't even done because we are still waiting for our windows in which you have said you've had since February.

Extremely disappointed. We have used this company multiple times but this will be my last time. They came out to measure and replace broken seals and rollers 3 times and I still have one window that was never fixed. They sold us windows and I asked that they match the other windows they do not. I have called and spoke to multiple managers who sends their repair division out to fix the problem but it is never been completely done.

I bought a 2 new windows and an accordion window door as well. I asked that the windows match my other windows. The color matches that's it. When I complained to the salesman Bryan Simas, he told me his hands are tied he turned over my complaint to his manager. I never received a call. Their repair staff went as far to tell me I should replace all my windows that their repairs only last a year! So disappointed. Bad customer service, horrible communication and I still have windows that need to be repaired.

We were very happy with our recent experience with Southgate Glass when they replaced 7 large windows for us. They were priced competitively, were communicative, and all workers wore masks throughout the project. They handled the permitting process for us and were proactive at dealing with special requests and a replacement that needed to happen after instllation. The final product looks great and we would definitely hire them again.

The new door and window look perfect. The door fits like a glove and closes and open very easily. The carpenter who put the door in took his time and made sure it was perfect. Services: Door installation, Window installation

Wen here 3 separate times to order various glass table tops. Pleased every time. They're prices are also so reasonable compared to other places I called.

We havent been able to open 10 of our 12 windows for years. Hardware would fall out the sides and we couldnt find anyone to fix them. Everyone wanted to replace the perfectly good windows. Until we finally talked to Southgate Glass. Rick came by the day we called and gave us a quote. Gabriela was great to work with regarding our schedule. And Antonio showed up on time and got right to work. All 10 windows were fixed in under an hour. I couldn't be happier with the work, the professionalism and the price. Thank you Southgate! Frank did a great job fixing the window. He was called 30 minutes before arrival and was quick with installing the new window.

High end product with very clean lines and minimal hardware - great working with them to get exactly what I wanted

I had two window/glass projects in a rental house and had Southgate and another company out for bids. I ended up splitting the project. The first company came out and did a good job, but not a great job. The installer did not use a tarp on the carpet (even though I asked him to) and ended up getting dirt on the newly cleaned carpet. It turned out his vacuum cleaner was broken, so he said, and after he handpicked the dirt off the carpet, I ended up cleaning the carpet with a vacuum the next day. Southgate Glass came out today to install a custom shower door. Frank and Tom were professional, friendly and hard working.

I couldn't be happier with their work and attitude. The shower door is beautiful (if its possible to have a beautiful shower door.) and I love it. The two men went the extra mile when I showed then some soap stains on a quartz counter top. They used a special cleaner from their company and removed the stains for me! I am going back to see them next week about another shower door and a sliding French door for my home. They are my #1 choice.

Checked some reviews and decided to call. spoke to Michael who set up an estimate. Kyle gave me the estimate and we went ahead and scheduled the job of replacing a sliding glass door and rollers on another. Michael worked around our schedule and Frank and David came and did an amazing job. Professional, courteous, and my house looked cleaner than before they arrived. Had a garage door window panel break recently during some work which was being done at my house. Like any amateur I took the broke glass to Home Depot. One of the guys told me you could go to a glass shop in town, buy our glass which can be cut, or go to the cheapest place in the area. Not knowing how much glass really cost I went with the latter and ended up here.

The area the shop is located isn't the best BUT the service and price was worth it. I was in and out within 15 minutes and did not feel ripped off by any means. My glass cost a little more than the uncut glass that Home Depot had in stock but fit perfectly upon installation. Hopefully no more rocks go flying through my windows but if they do I will likely return here.
