Dear Gulf Coast Windows: After we decided it was time to replace our thirty-six year old windows, we invited a representative of a local window replacement company to make his presentation and then visited a Builder Supply Company. We have saved approximately $30.00 to $40.00 per month on our bill, so we feel [the windows] are well on the way to purchasing themselves. Not only have they saved money, but the security, noise reduction and sun-glare tint has.
The Performer I was not given its ranking lightly. These aluminum windows have long been a specialty at Gulf Coast Windows thanks to innovative components that have helped make it one of the best and most affordable replacement window options for homes. I did not end up buying windows from them, because this is not a professional company at all. This is definition of a high-pressure sale company. I had the two meetings with their representative, which I never had to do with any other company. The first meeting was the regular one. They pushed themselves for the second meeting to "go over the quote" refusing to send it by email instead.
During this second meeting, the rep gave me a hand written note with the total sum. So unprofessional, no details on what exactly I will be getting, no details on what is included in the job (removal, cleanup, .). He explained that this sum included a "promotion" of 15% and -$100/window, which they are running this month. No reputable company that gives you a really good price runs any "promotions".
The rep tried to push me to make a decision today because he can give me even further discounts. I don't appreciate this at all. This is not how you make such high-value decisions, in a day. I would never use this company or recommend it to anyone. Look somewhere else.

We selected Gulf Coast Windows for a whole-house window replacement in a 40 year old house. It took quite a while to get the windows (due to the supply chain issues) but once received Gulf Coast was able to get the window replacement (15 windows) done in one day. The crew was knowledgeable and professional. They were not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for!

I called to ask them to get a quote. The first thing they asked is if my husband would be home. Why does it matter if my husband is home or not? Who said I had a husband? Secondly, they asked if I would even be able to afford the windows. Isn't that why you get a quote, to see if you can afford it? That's why I wanted them to come to my house. The interaction was unprofessional, and quite frankly, just rude. Edit: I wrote this review on behalf of my mom. We don't have the same name or the same last name. Thank you Gulf Coast Windows for assuming you know our lives and our family history.

Gulf Coast Windows has been responsive since my first inquiry about replacement windows for my home. From Andy in Sales to Brennan & his installation team to Everett and the Customer Service team, they have all been professional and followed up when they said they would. The windows look great and we have received compliments from neighbors and other home improvement professionals (we had additional remodeling done after the windows).
I feel confident about the quality of the windows in future hurricane seasons and the energy barrier provided against our hot Summers and occasional freeze. I would recommend Gulf Coast Windows and would do business with them again if I need replacement windows for another home.

Our windows took a while to come in, but our installation team of Anthony and Henry arrived with our new windows about 8:30 AM and stayed until 5:45 PM. They did a superb job for us. They cleaned up inside and outside before they left. We were so pleased that we plan to order more windows and will demand Anthony and Henry do the installation

Very unprofessinal and rude trying to get a quote. Sales guy hung up when i asked how long have you been selling windows. I called back and he still replied that they are not the company for me. Jim, there was no miscommunication. Jerald was misinformed that my house would require high impact, which indeed is incorrect. He confirmed that he was wrong and I was correct after placing me on hold.
When I had to correct him again, I simply asked how long has been selling windows thats when he changed his attitude and tone with me. If you are the owner or manager my line is open for discussion, feel free to give me call. I would want my employee better trained in overall knowledge of products and how to talk with customers. We're not talking about couple of hundred dollars, you missed out on serval thousands (8-10K) possibly.

I was replacing three single pane windows from 1928 with impact windows. The ordering process was pretty smooth and salesman was good. The production time was nearly 12 weeks, but really it felt much longer. When it came time to do the installation, I got a call that morning that one of the three windows either came broken from the factory or it was damaged during shipping.
My first reaction was.how does this happen to an impact window? Is this a product that I can trust? I asked the supervisor why the windows were not inspected upon their arrival only to be told that they didn't have the time nor manpower to inspect everything that is delivered. In my experience, every place that I have ever worked, always had an inspection protocol for receiving.
It's mind boggling to me that a company would not take the time to perform this critical step. Now a replacement has to be ordered and even as a rush order, we're looking at another six weeks. So overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the whole thing. I'm paying monthly for windows that have yet to even be installed. Now we're in the height of hurricane season and I was hoping that by getting these ordered early, I'd be covered. Three stars at this point is being generous, but I will have to reserve my final rating for after the installation is completed.

We replaced all the windows in our house with the almond colored vinyl windows. They are built to fit each window and they fit perfectly. We noticed the first night how much quieter the house is with new windows. Very pleased with the 2 day installation process. Would do it all over again Happy customers Service: Window installation

The crew did an outstanding job every step of the way! They were professional and considerate of what I expected from my whole-house window installation, keeping me informed of what was being done throughout the entire process. The cleanup was thorough. I will be recommending Gulf Coast Windows to friends! Service: Window installation

I was very surprised that the first visit and install took less than a month. The windows are beautiful, great quality and look fantastic. The employees that did it he install did a great job and were very knowledgeable of their job. The only problem we had is that we had three windows designed for our laundry room. Upon delivery, two of those windows showed up were cracked.
We were not too upset as they are not of the main windows. The installers took them out of their packaging and noticed them. Three days later a rep at Gulf Coast informed me that they would be replaced and were in the works of being made as we spoke. Aside from the two damaged windows mentioned above, I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase new windows. They have made our home look fantastic.

After I agreed to pay Gulf Coast a fortune, Gulf Coast's installation team abandoned their window and glass door project before completion leaving me to pray it does not rain. Because of their poor planning and lack of professionalism, on day two of what was supposed to be an eight hour project(one day), the responsible team left my home's windows and doors open to the elements.
Their excuse: the project was too difficult and the materials were wrong. Mind you, this was well into the project after their demolition which followed their purchase and assembly of materials which they custom designed from their own inspection, measurement, and on site sales. I've posted some photos to educate you, their next customer. When the project became troublesome, I tried multiple times to call the company.
All I got was an answering service who either could not or would not help us. Their only solution: they would have someone call me back. After I repeatedly called the Gulf Coast salesman's cell phone, he finally called me back. The salesman who agreed on behalf of the company that they would perform their contract has now assured me that the leaders of the company will make this right. I hope they do, so I can post a satisfactory update to this review. In the mean time, I'll keep praying the weather doesn't destroy my home.
