We had Einar Johanson Glass install new French sliding glass door off our kitchen nook. They did a wonderful job and I love sitting at our kitchen table looking outside now. The French Rails adds a bit more class and design than a regular slider. The company was fantastic to work with! They were thorough, detail oriented, on time, installed and cleaned up well and communicated effectively throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them!

We had new windows and a door installed in our 1960s home last spring. Over the years we've gotten to work with a few different contractors in home updates and this company is absolutely the most professional, straight forward, and easy to work with. Our windows fit the style of our home, are exactly what we expected and after the install not a speck of dust was left behind. I highly recommend this company!

We used Einar Johanson to replace all 24 windows plus a sliding glass door with new energy efficient LowE windows. We had a large garden window wall that we removed and the crew built an entirely new enclosure and frame for it. Everyone was extremely professional and the installation crew was top rate. We just had a a few windows replaced by the wonderful team at Einar Johanson. We have a home from 1937 and they were so careful about properly fitting in the window and cordoning off the construction area to mitigate for lead paint. They left the place pristine and were highly skilled. We will definitely hire them again for future window needs. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Our experience with Einar Johanson was outstanding. From the first phone call to the installation everything exceeded our expectations! Our neighbor recommended them. They replaced our condo windows and slider and we couldn't have asked for anyone to do a better job. They were timely, clean, and precise. The day of installation I felt comfortable leaving them alone in our condo.

I left so me and my kid wouldn't be in their way. They called me halfway through and then let me know when they were done and locked the door! When I arrived back they did a great job at cleanup. The door and windows are excellent quality.

Einar Johanson has a great reputation, and they were willing to do a small job for us, replacing 2 broken windows. We had trouble getting calls back from other companies. The person who did the estimate was very professional and not pushy at all. He explained the entire process and we received timely phone calls updating us throughout. The installers were so professional and careful.

I didn't realize I should have removed a bunch of breakables on a dresser near the window. They carefully moved everything well out of the way and cleaned up beautifully. We were pleased with all aspects of the job!

We used Einar Johanson to replace nearly all of the windows in our house (in 2 phases) and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Before replacing them, we got multiple bids and Einar Johanson was by far the most competitive. This, coupled with the fact that they are a small family owned business, made the decision easy for us. After getting all of the windows in our basement replaced by them, we contacted them about a year later to replace the windows upstairs.

We worked with the same people both times which I really appreciated; I think it says a lot about a company whose staff is consistent and long-lasting. We had Einar Johanson replace the oversized window in our living room. In the colder months, sitting in front of the window, we could feel the cold air almost blowing in. After the replaced the window, there was no longer any draft! There was only one issue that I remember, and that was in the scheduling of the replacement. Apparently, they got a little behind so they pushed the date for our install, but they made sure to let us know well in advance and the communication around the delay was great. We hope anyone else who uses this company has the same great experience we had.

Einar Johanson is a great company and definitely one of the best in Seattle to work with. Definitely use them! Very professional and high integrity, super responsive and punctual, really caring about their customers. We have been doing a bunch of different jobs on our house and it's astounding how difficult it is to find companies who are attentive and care about you, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Also I had a very difficult job, replacing several very large and very difficult to reach window panes in my extremely tall house. They were willing to come in and find a unique solution to do the job, and I'm sure it was one of the hardest jobs they've worked on. I think if you have a tricky job, it's definitely worth giving Einar Johanson a call.

We were on the wait list and I can tell you - it was worth the wait! The technicians arrived and quickly got to work removing the window. They had it out and fully replaced within an hour. They showed me their completed work and honestly, I had to ask if they had managed to repair the previous window - it didn't look like any surrounding wood, etc. had been disturbed. As if that wasn't good enough, they noticed my window screen was in need of repair and they surprised me with a new screen. The technicians truly went above and beyond!

Our entire experience with Einar from beginning to end was amazing! Super responsive and friendly customer service throughout. We had called probably 10 other companies and had about 3 or 4 out to get a quote. Einar was affordable, knowledgeable and so much more responsive compared to everyone else. The team who worked on our house was incredibly professional, conscientious and careful/clean when moving inside our home, friendly, fast, thorough, and very skilled.

I have had two sets of windows installed by Einar Johanson Company, and just now a new front door. I won't go anywhere else. The door is very solid and well made, and Roland and Ivan did a superb job installing it, on time, taking great care with fitting and clean-up, and they were a pleasure to have in my home. I live in a house where everything needs to be custom ordered as it is 1960s NW Contemporary style. This company was the only one that I had full confidence could do a quality job of replacing the windows that surround my living/dining rooms. Einar Johanson did a fabulous job. I am one of those Seattle home owners with a 1.1 million dollar view. The million dollar part of that number is Elliott Bay; the one hundred thousand part of that view is 15th Street and a railroad yard with all the noise that goes with it. The remodel of my home took place over many years and I like to say I saved the best for last - the windows.

Their installation team was both professional and efficient. The windows are beyond amazing. You can literally hear no ambient sound at all in the rooms that have Einar Johanson windows. A wonderful bonus the Einar Johanson windows offer is lower heating costs in the winter and cooler rooms in the summer. Now that I have done business with Einar Johanson, I would never buy my windows anywhere else.

We had a lovely consultation with Earl, who took the time to answer our questions and figure out how the company could meet our request to replace the outside window frame and shutters with a simple wooden frame. The installation went great and all went as planned. They replaced our big, old, dysfunctional front window with a beautiful, functional new window. They also did the trim work on the outside; it looks great! Everything was cleaned up and as expected at the end of the work. Overall I would recommend this company.

They fixed a 3rd story window that a bird had cracked. There was limited access both inside and outside, but did it with ease. From initial contact, i received a very prompt response, quote and measurements. Procuring the the glass needed took some time, but as soon as it was available, schedule time to do the work was easy and fast. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a window fixed.

I recently had my sliding door and bedroom window replaced. The sliding door is four panels and a custom size, so the job was a large undertaking. I cannot recommend these guys enough. From the moment I started working with them, my experience was pleasant and worry-free. Earl is quick to respond to every email and answers all my questions and was able to work within all the restrictions put in place by our HOA.

When the contractors came by, they covered everything with ample amounts of tarp and cardboard, both the floors and furniture. They cleaned up after themselves more thoroughly than I do myself. The meticulous amount of detail and focus put into getting everything to specifications was incredible and so very much appreciated. I already have them coming back to replace my front door. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

They beat 2 other quotes by a fair margin and they did everything they said they would. The 10 windows are great. They even told me about a small flaw in one of the frames and said they would order a new one. I never would have noticed this. Installers were also great. Would not hesitate to use them again.

We just bought a house with single pane windows with attached storm windows that stick out from the house a good four inches. Einar Johanson did a really great job taking out those old windows (didn't break a single one and they were very clean) and replaced them with really nice white vinyl double pane windows. It is so quiet now in our house. We used to hear the construction down the block from morning until night. Now it is nice and quiet. We will hire them again for another window replacement project.

I had all my windows and slider replaced. The sales person was friendly, informative and unrushed. The installation crew was professional and on time. They had three crews out there and they got the job done. In the end, I was not completely happy with the kitchen window and they came out and replaced it free of charge. Wow! They could run classes on proper customer service! From our first phone call to our installation, 100% satisfaction. We got a quote that was far below everyone else's for the same window. We've used Einar Johanson twice now to replace 12 windows in our 1929 stucco Greenwood home and I can say these folks and their products are great. From Earl (their sales person) answering all my questions and coming back and forth to our house to show us samples, to Brian (their critical measurements/operations lead) who was so accommodating in scheduling both measurements and installation, to their teams who actually did the work that were super cool, friendly and very professional.

The windows we selected were fairly priced (lower-to-mid range $ of the 4 quotes we got), installed quickly and very well, function as promised, and really look great. Just the other day we had our house pressure washed in preparation for a new coat of paint and were warned windows might leak due to the high pressure water. Well, the only windows that leaked were the old transom windows in the basement that Einar Johanson didn't replace. The new windows held up flawlessly. To us, that is a sign of great work.

Hugely recommend checking these folks out. We'll be using them again.

Our home was built in 1986, and after living here 7+ years we finally decided to replace the ugly, clouded aluminum windows that we should have replaced when we moved in. We also decided to replace our front door as it was definitely showing its age. From the initial quote, to my endless questions, Earl was extremely responsive, infinitely helpful, and endlessly patient as he put together a quote and suffered through my indecisiveness.

He was truly fantastic to work with. Once I had decided on the windows I wanted, Bryan came out to do final measurements, and was also just was as helpful as one could wish. It was then about 8 weeks out for the install. I’ve hired a number of contractors over the years and Chandler and Ivan, who came out to do the install, impressed me as much as anyone who’s done work on my home.

They got here when they said, worked tirelessly through the day, and treated my home with the utmost care and respect. They blew me away with both their work ethic and friendliness and ended up finishing with all 17+ windows in just a few days. The quality of the job was top notch and my house was totally transformed by the new windows. If you’re thinking about having your windows replaced, I cannot recommend Einar Johanson highly enough.

I was afraid of the process of removing windows in January but the crew was great and worked quickly. We had an issue with one casing and no questions asked they ordered a new one and came out to replace it when it worked with my schedule. I recommend them many times over.
