My wife and I truly enjoy and like the double-hung (and horizontal sliding) windows by Window World. These are high-quality products at a reasonable price! We had all of our windows replaced on April 6th 2022. Our installers were very nice but the work was not 100% great. They installed the first window incorrectly and left holes in the drywall from their mistake. They did a very sloppy job with the caulking on the outside, and lastly they did not clean up after themselves very well. There is sticky residue/gunk on every window from stickers and dirt/drywall dust in every window.
While we love our new windows, I did not expect to have to spend hours cleaning up the mess that was left behind and patching holes in the wall. And now my husband will have to redo the caulking on the outside to make them look more presentable.

We have had excellent service with Window World in the past - They have reasonable prices and we have a line of credit with them which makes it even better. They give an estimate of when the windows will be ready and schedule a date that works for you. They did an excellent job! There windows also have a lifetime warranty. If they get broke they will replace them.

One year follow up: Holy smokes these windows leak TONS of cold air around them. The installers just jammed a tiny bit of fiberglass around the rough opening, after removing the interior trim I CAN SEE DAYLIGHT through the outside trim. No wonder I was getting freezing temps inside my home around the windows! I bought a few cans of door/window spray foam to create a tighter seal, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! DO NOT RECOMMEND WINDOW WORLD.
Original Review after install: measured and installed all of my windows too small for my home. each window is at least 3 smaller than they needed to be, installers had to double up framing, and shoving an inch of insulation around the sides. I offered to remove original trim for them to measure but estimator said it wasnt necessary, now I'm stuck with making tons of trim making my windows look odd and not consistent with the last two that were installed by myself.
My drywall was also cracked and black handprints left all over my light gray walls. Service manager came out to fix some a bad screen and fill in some holes they didnt plug, but basically said deal with the rest.

In March 2021, we entered into a contract with Window World of Dayton to replace 12 windows. On the day of the installation in July 2021, the installers had removed ALL of the old windows BEFORE replacing with the new ones. This prevented us from stopping their work when we noticed the issue. We've tried to call Window World of Dayton on that same day to discuss the issue, but our call was never answered. Unfortunately, the work has been done, and we are not able to install our blinds back in.
There's barely room for any kind of "inside" attachment of window treatment, but plenty of room on the outside. We were never told by the salesman Barry B. or the installers that our blinds would likely not fit back in. As showed in the before and after photos, the new window's interior casing is too shallow on the inside to allow the space for the blind's brackets to be hung.
We were wondering if this was a result of the incorrect measurements or specs were taken by the salesman or the installers did not want to go through the troubles to make sure they allow enough room for inside window treatments. Anyhow, with a huge issue like this, we would expect an upfront discussion from Window World of Dayton representatives before the work is started to avoid any costly confusion.
We did contact Window World about the aforementioned issue and requested a quality manager to come onsite to evaluate the options to correct the issue. However, the same installers were sent three weeks later, but there was no better explanation from them than "I am sorry you're not happy but that's the best we can do". When asked why these such issues were not communicated to us so we can make an informed decision ahead of time, their response was "It's not installer's job to discuss with customers about those issues before or during the installation".
If you don't want to be stuck with no options for inside window treatments, stay away from Window World of Dayton. We're going to file a complaint with BBB as well. We don't recommend Window World of Dayton to anyone. Save your money and headache.

We have had window world install windows in several of our houses. They never fail to impress us. The quality of the windows is outstanding and the warranty is second to none. Barry does a great job measuring and ordering. Ginger and Michelle in the office are always pleasant and helpful. The installers do great work and are in and out in just a few hours. The fit and finish is always beautiful. We highly recommend them and wouldn't use anyone else.

Window World did a great job installing my windows. I gave a four star though because we moved everything like asked away from the windows but totally forgot about moving our outdoor speakers. My husband and I were both home when they were working on the outside and never asked us to take them down. So the installers just decided to not caulk behind the speakers since they couldn't get behind them. I just wish they would have said something because I honestly forgot about them.

Took a while to get the windows built but the installation team was very good and well organized. Had technicians come out to adjust a couple windows after the weather warmed up. They did a great job fine tuning the couple windows that were a bit tight to open. This is my second set of windows from Window World. Price and quality were good on my previous home which is why I called them out for my current house. Quality windows and great prices and warranty.

I am very happy with the communication and service. Each and every employee treated me and my family with respect and that means a great deal to me. I will recommend Window World to everyone. I appreciate the timely manor of getting our front window replaced. A seal had failed which can happen and it was hassle free getting it taken care of. Excellent and quick work!
