I recently had to purchase a new front door. I went to Tom Adams showroom and was very impressed with the amount of doors for me to see and choose from. Robert Barufkin assisted us with our selection and was even able to show on the computer actual doors in the finishes we wanted with everything there. The door took a while to come in but the installers just left and Gerald the lead installer was wonderful and a perfectionist in ensuring that we were happy with the finished product. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had all our windows replaced in our home by Tom Adams 7 yrs ago and found the service and follow up to be fantastic. They did a great job then and even on a few service issues we had did great. Over month and half ago we asked them for a quote to put in a transom window and two small block type windows. Pat Maloney cam out too all the info and that was basically the last we ever heard from him.

We called after 4 weeks to follow up and nothing finally got a call back from him and said he would have estimate to us the next day. That was 2 weeks ago. I followed up again and he does not call back. I follow up again and he calls back to say he will not quote the work. When I said this is poor service and why did it take you so long to tell us he said thanks and hung up.

I would give a 0 rating if i could! i bought our door spring of 2020 i had to wait for it be in installed until Fall of 2020 due to them being backed up. Within 2 weeks they had to come out to fix the door because the log was installed backward and i was unable to lock the door properly. Then 2 months later they were out again because the door was not leveled. 3 months after that i had to call for them to come out again as the side pieces of the door were coming apart from the door itself and causing issues closing.

I was advised that i had to wait 2 months for an appointment. at this point my door was breaking even more. THEY FINALLY came out to fix it and said that it was all good. NOW 2 months later i am having the same issue PIECES coming off. I am furious at their customer service and also their products. FROM THE BEGINING THIS HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT ISSUES AND A BAD EXPERIENCE.

Business only caters to the rich. I went in to have linoleum installed in my rental. I made it very clear to Craig Watson that since it was a rental I didn't want to spend a lot of money. He said"no problem, we can find something for you". So I scheduled an appointment to have them measure my kitchen. I even had them measure one room for carpet. So, I went in today to discuss options with Craig Watson.

His response was "We don't sell cheap linoleum here." WHAT? Then I asked him "why did you waste my time having someone come out and measure?" He was very condescending and rude.like he didn't care to make a sale to "the little guy." I worked at Ann's Choice when Tom Adams was a resident there. He gave me the impression of being a very strong, to the point kind of person.

I doubt he would have accepted this treatment. Not only did they lose a "cheap" order, but I was also in need of some window and screen replacements. I will NEVER attempt to use them again. They made me feel like I was not up to standards to the quality (wealthy) of people they serve. Such a disappointment. And here I was trying to support a local business.

Highly recommend Tom Adams Windows and Carpets! They recently installed 9 windows and 2 doors for us. From start to finish, they were extremely professional. Communication throughout the process was A-1 I can say it is hard to find a company that not only shows up on the day they said they will but sent a team of installers that were all prompt (actually early), courteous, hard working and clean! They left everything better than they found it. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Once again this company does not do what they say. Rescheduled many times with no result. They showed up today without the 30 min call prior to arrival they promised. I work nights and they gave me a window of time so I was sleeping and waiting on the call to get up and put my cats away so they could put up my doors. Neither man spoke English so after I secured my cats I tried to use a translate app. They got a call and drove away. maybe by winter I will get my screen doors installed! And they won't refund my deposit. worst experience ever.

We have had 8 windows(in 3 different orders), a door and storm door, and had flooring in our entryway, living room and dining room installed. All this has occurred over a 5 year period. They have always been professional and their work has been excellent. During COVID, they took full precautions to ensure ours and their worker's safety. Am very pleased with their service and financing.

Had double pane windows installed in 1998 for whole house. Windows arrived in February of that year and installers tore out old windows to replace them and then discovered that EVERY window was measured incorrectly. Weeks later we did get the proper windows installed and got what we understood to be a life time guarantee for the windows. Our upstairs bathroom window imploded last week and we notified Tom Adams windows about it and asked them to replace it. Surprise, we were told that because the manufacturer of THE GLASS was out of business, our guarantee from TOM ADAMS wasnt worth the paper it was printed on.

We were then quoted a price of 320 dollars to replace a window about 12 by 20 inches. To say that I feel the company is slimy and shady would be a drastic understatement. I have since warned every person I can in person and social media about this company. I can only hope that in some way, it will end up costing them money in the long run. If Tom Adams cares to respond, please do so.

Recently Tom Adams installed a fantastic ne storm door. From the day they did the measurements to day of delivery and installation, we received excellent treatment from their staff. Their technician was precise in the install and left the area spotless. I highly recommend them for your needs.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Bobbi Jo was incredible from start to finish of our garden style window. The quality is unbelievable and the install by Jared and Gary was beyond what we imagined. They were perfectionists and did not stop the install until it was 150%(+) beyond what we imagined. Highly recommend everyone and would do it all over again. Ordered a front door and patio door '20 was told it would take 8-10 weeks. The earliest date was finally made 11 weeks for install. Two guys showed up. One young, one older, neither wearing masks. The young one said they would wear masks when working inside. I never saw him inside and he left after a few hours. The older man was here until 8-9 pm (started at 10am) was inside a lot of the time and NEVER WORE a mask.

He didn't speak a word of english, literally he communicated with gestures. If I hadn't pointed it out, I don't think he even would have noticed the lock didn't lign up on the front door. As it was he left us with a door that if not locked blows open with very little breeze. It took them a month to come back. We found out then that the door was installed incorrectly and we need to wait again (couldn't make appointment at time of visit) for special screws for our heavy glass door.

They said they wished the manufacturers of our patio door did a better job making cleaner cuts/cleaning of the vinyl. Will just have to live with the mess the little shaving make/noise it makes every time we close the door. I am completely unsatisfied with the service and the quality control of our patio door. Will not use them ever again.

I contacted Tom Adams for pricing on vinyl replacement shutters. The salesman visited my home and provided a quote of $2,000 for 12 pair installed. He suggested we increase the width of our shutters to 14-1/2 from our current 12 inch width, which I thought sounded terrific. When we arrived at the store to choose our color we were cautioned to avoid custom colors as they cost significantly more.

I took the keyring with 12-15 tiny shutters home to color match, thinking there couldn't possibly be a custom color there. When we returned with our choice we were told that, in fact, number 010 Musket Brown was a custom color. Since this increased our cost to over $4,000 (based upon calculations the salesman spouted that even I, a math whiz, couldn't follow) we left without ordering.

After checking online I was able to locate the company who manufactured the vinyl shutters. I placed an order for color samples, and several tiny shutters arrived in the mail. Color 010 Musket Brown cost no more than any other color. When we measured our shutters it became very clear that we could not increase to the 14-1/2 width the salesman suggested given the angle of the roof in one area.

This is not something that could easily have been worked around, and I suspect it was not even noticed by the salesman. We ordered our shutters directly for a total cost of $624.00. I was happy to pay Tom Adams $2,000 for the convenience of having expert installation, but I feel there was a bit of a 'bait and switch' when the price suddenly doubled based upon my chosen shade. I have had similar experiences with Tom Adams in the past. I won't be going back.

The staff at Tom Adams was very patient with my husband and I as we went through the flooring options for our home. This was the first big project we were undertaking in our 80 year old Home and we went back and forth on carpet or hardwood and all the options in between. Through it all, Rob, our sales guy was there to answer our questions and give us honest answers on what would work and what wouldn't.

Because our home is older and have a rod iron railing that goes down the second floor hallway and down the stairs, we had concerns about moving the piece which is what we would have had to do with hardwood. After the was eliminated as an option, Rob helped us figure out what was best for us. We ended up picking two carpets from their rements warehouse for two bedrooms and a hallway and we are so pleased.

The installers did show up later than we expected but they finished the job in record time, thoroughly cleaned after the install, and the carpets look great! We are so pleased we decided to go with Tom Adams.

You do not want to purchase from this business. We bought a storm doors about 10 years ago. The door held up, but the bottom fell out. Looks like dirt. Door is in area where it doesn't get wet, and as a storm door shouldn't it be able to take water? I called them n they told me they would have the company contact me and give me the phone number. Have not heard one word from them! WORTHLESS. BUSINESS.

Using Tom Adams for flooring was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a contractor. They used cheap subcontractors that didn't know what they were doing and subsequently covered our house in dust and debris, completely damaged the new flooring they installed, and damaged our fridge, storm door, lawn light, wall, and more. I called them multiple times during the installation to tell them their crew was damaging our home and flooring, and they ignored me and told me to let them continue.

It took them 2 weeks after installation just to send any kind of response to my list of complaints only after I bugged them repeatedly. It took 8 weeks of arguing with them for them to finally send a new crew to rip up and replace the entire floor and agree to fix the damages. It took another 3.5 weeks for them to repair the storm door (during which they ruined the weather stripping) all the while hassling me about getting paid.

They forced me into a made up payment plan that was not discussed prior or part of the contract by threatening not to honor the warranty. The floor still is not really leveled to the right specs for the product they installed. They took $600 off the price which wasn't nearly enough to cover the close to $1,000 of obvious damages not to mention unseen damages due to the debris that contaminated our electronics, HVAC, appliances, etc. They should be embarrassed that it took nearly 12 weeks long to complete what was supposed to be a 1 day job, and even after that long they still couldn't get it right.

Beware of their return policy! They will say it was a "Special Order" item even though it had been in-stock and available in their store before you requested it. Not even consideration for being a repeat customer over the years. Local competitors have nothing to worry about.

Buyer Beware! We've had the absolute WORST experience in both pre and post sale with Tom Adams. Let me preface this by saying, our builder uses Tom Adams as a subcontractor for his new homes, we did not choose to work with them and after this experience we never would. Our issues started in pre-sale. My husband and I went in to the showroom in Whitehall to upgrade our tile and grout.

The sales person allowed us to just pull samples off the floor, never once providing any opinion or guidance with design. As first time home buyers and decorators, it would have been MUCH appreciated to have some help while selecting our tiles. It's very hard to see big picture with such small pieces. My husband and I struggled to make the selections, visiting the show room 3 times before nailing down the design which the sales rep had to have someone from the home office help us with as he was not capable of doing so himself.

The same sales person also tried to double charge us for the products that our builder provided us standard (like backer boards). If we would have not asked the sales rep to line item our upgrades, we would have paid almost $2K more for them! Additionally, the sales person got us to upgrade our grout so we wouldn't have to seal the product on our own when we moved in.

What a scam! Tom Adams has already been to our home TWICE in two weeks to fix the 'upgraded' grout that is pulling up from our shower floor. As a point of reference, we've only lived there 3 weeks and are having them out AGAIN to fix this issue as it was not resolved the first two times. Finally, the customer service rep for Tom Adams is horrendous.

I had to fight to get them to come back out at a time that was convenient for my husband and I as they only service Monday-Friday during normal business hours. Their expectation is that you stay home to have them come. Not so easy to do when you work a full time job. And, to top off our master shower issues, we've found holes in our hardwood floors. They'll need to fix these as well. I would NEVER recommend anyone using this store. We've had one bad experience after another and have only been home owners for 3 weeks.

Let me start off by saying all was great up until the time of install. Spent almost $4000 on carpet and vinyl floors that were priced higher than competition thinking I would receive better service. In actuality here is what I received: 1) Scratched vinyl flooring. Not a few scratches - over 40. 2) Marks all over my freshly painted walls and ceilings when carrying in product. 3) Workers walking up and down my brand new carpeted stairs with dirty boots. 4) Replacement of scratched planks after 10 day wait and on reinstall left areas of spacing and flooring color that now lacks cohesiveness. 5) No extra flooring that was leftover in the boxes that I paid for. 6) A really dirty vinyl floor that has scuff marks from dirty boots. 6) An apology after I had to request one. Key Takeway: I overpaid and was underserved. Overall not a great experience and would not use again.

Terrible customer service, poor installation of hardwood floors. No accountability, or apology. I will never use them again. Very frustrated customer.

Ordered several windows, carpets, and a sliding glass door through Tom Adams. Have absolutely no complaints. Greats products and service. Highly recommend checking out showroom.

Ordered sliding glass doors. Their showroom had many brands to choose from. Pricing was competitive and they will match or better anyone else's bid. John and Dennis installed the doors. You could tell they have been working with each other for 15 years. They anticipated each others moves. It was impressive to watch them work. When I am ready to order replacement windows I will first go to Tom Adams for selection and price. I will request John and Dennis to install the windows.
