The last thing we wanted to hear from our new home owners insurance company were the words "You need to replace your roof", but that's where we found ourselves this past March when we switched companies to save some money. My wife and I talked for a good month about our options before deciding that if we could swing it, we should go with a metal roof.
The cost of asphalt combined with how short a lifespan it has these days made the decision easier. We called several different companies, all of whom promised to send someone out for an estimate. The only ones that showed up were All-Weather Seal of West Michigan. Our salesman Ryan was fantastic. The meeting took a little longer than an hour but he did a great job of both inspecting our existing roof and explaining how all of this worked.
We felt like he had emotionally invested in us by the time things were over and once we took care of financing and signed on the dotted line, with a promise that we'd have a new roof within 2-20 weeks, my wife and I both placed "Price is Right" style bets on when the roof would come on. We both went over :-). Literally two weeks to the day we were called by the contractor, and the roofing supplies showed up in our yard.
As is the case with everything in our house there was more damage underneath than we anticipated but this company got the entire thing repaired and replaced in 3 days. Three days. The crew they sent was incredible. A guy named Remy appeared to be in charge of the crew, and he, Lyle, and (I believe the other guy's name was Alex?) worked their tails off and kept us informed of the progress and next steps.
I'm not even certain they took breaks - they worked 12 hour days to get this thing fixed and we're incredibly grateful to them. No one wants to hear the words "You need a new roof". But I am 100% referring anyone who needs one and wants to go the metal route to All-Weather Seal of West Michigan.

My house is over 100 years old, and my upstairs windows were at least 50 years old. (Probably much older) The sales person that came out was professional and knowledgeable. He was able to tailer our order to keep within a budget I set for the job. Mark Brooks came out to install my new windows. He was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He installed all 8 of my new windows in about a day and a half. We are very happy with our new windows, and our experience with All-Weather Seal.

Lucas just finished the metal roof over the dormer - my husband and I are very, very pleased with the results. He is a very hard working young man and we couldn't believe the work he accomplished today in the frigid cold with lots of ice and snow around! Everything and everyone was fantastic from beginning to end. We appreciate the "low pressure", highly informative sales pitch. We had nine windows replaced and it looks great, inside and out. Mark and the installation crew were excellent! I honestly didn't realize just how cold and drafty all of the old windows were until they were replaced - WOW! (I won't have to wear a hat to bed at night this winter;-) We will be making plans to get the slider door replaced in the future and I know who we will be calling!
