I have been using them for many years both for my commercial and residential real estate. They are very professional and incredibly fast. More importantly they are very honest and operate with high integrity. I personally send them all the people that come my was looking for doors.

Please update your hours. You guys are clearly not open. Thanks for wasting my time.

Garage door was hit inside while backing up the car, got damaged and did not open. I urgently called this company, NJ Door Works. Though it was a call on Good Friday, they dispatched technicians very quickly and performed emergency service. Garage door is now operational. They were really polite and cool. Repair price seems reasonable for emergency service. I highly appreciate their response to emergency call for service.

Placed an emergency call on a Saturday morning during bad weather and freezing temps. The telephone rep was the nicest and really went the extra yard to find a rep to come out to my home. This in itself was worth 5 stars. The service person Andres who came took service to the next level. He was thorough but didn't try to oversell extra work, explaining everything he was doing. Best service ever!

This is our second set of garage doors from NJ Door Works (2 different properties) and we are so happy with our new doors! They look incredible, the work was done without incident, and they left the property spotless. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Great company! We had a couple of issues with an installation, and as soon as they learned about it, Bernadette, Sean, and Tom swooped in to take care of it. The work was all done within days. Now we have two beautiful garage doors that are the quietest I've ever heard. The company really stands behind their work, and the quality shows. Much appreciated!

I just had the best experience with Door Works! They truly want what is best for their customers! The entire process was putting the customer first! They are so friendly over the phone and Andres came to fix my garage door. He is so knowledgeable and worked the entire time in the heat! He came yesterday to see what was wrong and today to fix it! The customer service representative and the technician were excellent. I was given an appointment immediately at my convenience. The technician called to ask if it was ok to arrive a little earlier. I had used a local company for many years but they sold to Door Works who provides the same level of service as the previous company.

Inquired to have my residence garage keypads replaced and obtain new garage door remotes for the existing doors / openers (previous home owner did not provide them to us). Receptionist answered all of my questions and was able to schedule an appointment for me the next day. Service person arrived on time and was able to complete the job in a timely fashion. Explained everything I needed to know in a clear manner and was extremely nice, respectful, and honest. Pricing was fair as well. Would highly recommend.

RELIEF! EXCELENT SERVICE! From my initial call to the company i was impressed. Pricing was upfront. Appointment was immediate and service was impeccable. Andreas, the serviceman, was very polite and experienced. He examined my garage door and informed me of the problem fixed it and serviced the door. Asked me if i had any other issues and i shyly informed him.yes. he fixed all my problems of my 20 yr old garage door and now everything is like new. Thank you.

My father-in-law had surgery done so I wanted to help him out. He had mentioned his garage door wasn't working. I found New Jersey door works on the web without hearing about them. I told them what I needed. Here's why they get 5 stars. They could have easily told me any cost since I know nothing about garage doors or how they work. But rather, an employee (Anthony I think) told me exactly what I needed and even told me I could (if I wanted to) fix the problem myself rather than spend money buying all new supplies and having their team do the install.

So I stopped by, picked up the new handle and other locking parts, paid a fair price, and did the install myself. Again, this review is for their complete honesty in saving me money. Not to mention him explaining to me how to do it. I knew I could call them at anytime to have them come do it, but it felt good helping out my father-in-law and spending time with him. Not to mention I may have earned some cool points with him. Haha. Would definitely use this company again and again.

I backed right through my garage door one day and needed a repair. These guys were awesome. I dealt with Anthony. I called a few places and most said they couldn't replace my garage door panels because that model was no longer available or that I'd have to replace the entire 2 doors. Thankfully, NJ Door Works helped me track down the panels and installed them for what I felt was a very fair price. I am very lucky and grateful for their help and service.

This review is for NJ door works that services Hoboken, not the North Plainfield office. I got absolutely ripped off by them. I've used them in the past for work and don't recall many problems but recently I called for an estimate to replace two springs on our garage door. They gave me an estimate of over $800 so I got an estimate from another company who did the work for $400.

A few weeks later NJ Door works sends me a bill for over $300 for their time giving me the estimate. I called them and they flat out refused to take any money off the absurd bill. Never going to call them again.

Stay away from these guys. I ask them for an estimate to fix my garage door opener. They did not say the estimate would cost anything. They arrive, said the door was broken, and estimated a replacement for $500. I wanted to shop the price, but the guy said I either paid $70 for a service call and get nothing, or pay $500 for the opener and then the service call was free.

Essentially I was a hostage. In the end I paid the $70. Looked a comparable opener up on homedepot.com and found it to be $129. The most expensive they had was $250. So it was either pay their outrageous price or the $70 service fee. I am glad I paid the $70 fee and just got rid of these guys.

My garage door wouldn't go up when I got home on a Sunday evening. I called them at 7 AM Monday and they showed up within an hour and quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken motor on my opener which was 20 years old. They replaced it quickly and at a great price. They also installed a replacement door about three years ago and their price and quality were the best.
