In 2015/16 we purchased and had installed 3 wood clopay garage doors, (over 7K each) 2 fiberglass single doors and 1 double fiberglass door.for our garage. We had a manufacturing issue with the double door (separate issue which was finally resolved). but 3 years after being installed, (May/June 2020) I noticed a split in two of the three garage doors, beyond anything normal.
These are still under warranty, so I called Dana at Ned Sickles and he came to look at them. He came quickly and during COVID, so I was very happy, he pointed out not only were the two doors split, all 3 doors were cupping in multiple places. So he took pictures, said he would make a claim and he would contact us. 6 months later, no contact. So we started contacting him. Well, here we are over a year later, and nothing has happened.
It took 3 months for us to just to get the claim number from Data at Sickles. Even contacting Clopay directly, they basically blow you off and send you back to the rep, Ned Sickles. So round in circles we go. No info, no update, nothing. Ridiculous. Dana at Ned Sickles says, well, these things take time. seriously? Over a year? Absolutely NO information? Look, we're in the construction industry, I know all about the current supply chain issues, but this is absurd.
Not even any general/basic/vauge information. On top of that, the lack of follow up and follow through on Ned Sickles part is beyond frustrsting. Clopay has already lost 3 other high-end orders due to their lack of service and response. So, buyer beware. The doors are beautiful, even the pricy fiberglass ones, and fairly well made (hence 2 stars and not 1) but dont expect any warranty service or satisfaction. As we know, every manufacturer has issues, how ypu handle them is what sets you apart from the others. In this case, find the others. smh

We had a terrible experience with Dana. He installed our garage door, and when I looked at the garage door, it was missing several parts, we reached out to him several times via email, text and left him phone messages to tell him with no response from him. After about 3 weeks of this he finally reached out to us to say he was stopping by to address these issues, my wife waited all day for him and he did not show up, no phone call, no email, no text.
I am now buying the parts we need to complete "his" job, which by the way, I shouldn't have to pay for in addition to the very expensive garage door he installed. This was by far the absolute worst customer service we have ever experienced.

Terrible experience. In the show room Dana made it seem like his service was phenomenal and he will take care of us. Well, that was far from the truth. Dana charged our credit card in full without even letting us know, but then he didn't even do the job properly. Doors have been malfunctioning since day one, now they auto open, are stuck in the open position, randomly stop working, make terrible noise when opening because they were installed improperly. Dana said he would get us the handles for the outside of the garage when we placed the order initially, but even something so simple took over a month after the garage doors were installed.
He sent a couple different people to "service" the garage, each one more incompetent than the prior. He doesn't return calls and ignores us and our builder after he got his money. This is not the type of service I expected when paying $9k for garage doors. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

I had two serious problems with our garage doors, one at my home and one at my daughters. Dana came out each time within hours and fixed each problem He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable. The company is first rate and I would recommend him to everyone. They are a professional organization run by friendly knowledgeable people who will nor over charge the homeowner.
As a business person myself, words cannot describe how happy we are with them. A few years ago they installed our remote opener and the job was done the same way, I can go on and on. Look no further when you need help. Just call them Today is March 28 2020

These guys are the "navy seals" of overhead garage doors. Built a new home, Dana and his team installed 3 beautiful doors with side motors; motors are smooth and quiet. I did my shopping and their pricing was very competitive. They also worked with my builder to redouble efforts on making sure that the appropriate reinforcements were installed so my doors can work according to spec.
Most importantly, they provided the necessary servicing to help me program things and make final adjustments. It was simple to call them and schedule appointments. I'm usually not the type to review online like this but felt i needed to step up for the "good guys".
