Your original windows add a wealth of character and charm to your home. Chances are they are made from some very solid, best quality wood assembled with fine craftsmanship. Replacement windows cannot compete on sturdiness of material or construction, plus they are created to fit INSIDE the existing window opening making your windows even smaller!

Alison and the crew never dissapoint! I've used Window Woman of New England for several jobs now and will continue to do so in the future. The latest job was a custom transom window for a re-designed doorway. The window was perfect, and constructed with traditional methods and period glass. I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend!

I stopped by the workshop to learn about my options for repairing a shattered window. I chose to get my sash repaired by the shop and the staff gave me a tutorial about how to uninstall and reinstall the sash, including reattaching weights and sash cords. I also attended a free open house where I learned how to replace cracked glass and was able to successfully complete another project independently at home. I can't thank them enough for teaching me how to restore and care for my old home.

After careful consideration, we decided to restore rather than replace our original windows during a renovation. Alison and her crew were very responsive, friendly, and and performed good work. I learned a lot about the history, mechanics, and upkeep of these windows, and am proud to have saved a part of New England history.
