Gilbertson Door Systems

I had them install a garage door in 2010 and was given great advice on oiling the springs and am very happy to get 8 years from them. However when I called them to have them come out and fix them. They did not return calls for over 3 days. I do realize that I live in Eagan and they are located in Elk River. And when they did come out after given me a wide window of when they could come out. Jeff (owner) was late.

I had the feeling that my business was not appreciated. I asked if he happen to have a used opener for sale and he said he did. He initially quoted me $35 and told me they are $48 new in the stores. I did not do my homework and agreed to purchase his used opener. However when it was time to settle the repair bill he billed me $45 for the opener. I trust them on the work just not their character.

This company was great. They came out on time, got the job (torsion spring replacement) done quickly, and were very reasonably priced. I liked that I knew exactly what the price was going to be before they did anything. The technician (Jeff) even did some little adjustments to the track without charging me for them. Fantastic company. I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.
