Terrible customer service. Please save your money and use another company. Also advise that you read the contract thoroughly. My yard is now flooded because they burst a pipe but we're being told that they are not responsible for any damages to the property.

They answered all of our questions and gave us a fair price. Highly satisfied with the finished result.

Our installer Rick was awesome and communicated well. Dealing with Tony King was a very disappointing experience. I text Tony the day of the delivery and clearly stated "drop the materials in the driveway." Come home and the materials are dropped on the side of house with tire tracks through my yard and damage to my lawn. He texts me and states "driver took picture and damage a position of your lane" ok no bigs I told him if there was dirty left over I don't mind filling in the hole.

There was no dirt left over. I text him a couple times with little response until I finally send him pics again and with the text thread. He asks his driver and the driver is like "yeah in cove point they had cars in the driveway" I live in California, Md. so the driver was totally confused. I told him I was looking for 3-4 bags of topsoil to address this and I'm good.

He ends up calling us petty and that we are " irritating him" lol this is the type of customer service they have. They damage your lawn and then don't take any accountability. He claims I instructed the driver to hand stack the materials on the side of the house to get away with any responsibility for the lawn. You may want to look elsewhere for a fence installer.

With the heavy snow storm this week we had a couple trees take out part of our fencing, making us incapable of letting our dogs out back. I called George after a day of stressing, and he was so helpful and able to have someone come make repairs the next day! I'm a happy customer, but I think my dogs are even happier!

I put my project on Angi and immediately received a call from George Bowles of Bowles Fencing Co. (Clinton & Bowles) I had 4 stained fence panels and posts that needed to be installed. I received an estimate over the phone and George said he would also come take a look the next day and would bring his installer - Jeff - to see if the job could be done that day.

In less than 2 hours, Jeff had hand dug the holes and set the posts and installed the panels. We are super pleased with the result and would highly recommend George and Jeff of Bowles Fencing Co to all.

Called for a consultation on fencing in my yard. A day later a representative called me back and was very dismissive, over talked me when I was trying to explain my request and then said he didn't understand my request when in fact he just was not intently listening. I called my husband over to take the call instead because I just couldn't deal with the fast talking, non listening, and lack of professionalism overall. I will not be using this company. First impressions are important!

Amazing work! Had a Split rail fence for our backyard and a Vinyl gate set up on our porch. Quality work, on time, and great customer service! I don't normally write reviews but we honestly had a great experience.

I was in a jam, needed to get my yard closed off quickly. I had a few quotes but everyone was running behind, two months out. Clinton Fence was a recommendation of my neighbor, who spoke of them with great regard after they took car of her. I met Scott "Fenceman" and when he saw my Disabled Vet plates he personally intervened. Matched best quote and had the yard fenced and my dog secure in a matter of days. Complete straight shooter and went the extra mile for me. The work is impeccable. Thanks so much Scott!

Do not use ClintonFence; their customer service and follow up for any issues is aweful. I had a fence installed over a year ago. Three gates were installed and one of them was made incorrectly. I dealt with my sales person who never responded. I reached out to the owner, and after several months, he sent a crew out who said they needed to make another gate.

I was assured by the owner that another gate would be made and installed. I then received a text from the owner that it was all set. THEY DID NOTHING! I saw it and sent another text to the owner of the company and he said his tech adjusted it! It looks totally unprofessional. They took my money willingly, but never came back to fix this issue even when the owner assured me he would take care of it. Stay away, unless you are there to inspect and approve! They will NOT return after they have your money.

Clinton Fence did an amazing job with fencing our backyard which is hilly and uneven. They used superior product (black aluminum) to their competitors, took the time to evenly cut each section on the same side rather than have lopsided sections, and did a great job avoiding our sprinklers and other underground barriers. All of our neighbors are impressed with the finished product. We have already decided to hire them for another job. Thank you!

During the horrific storm on Friday, June 4th, a small portion of one of our fence panels blew off. I called George on the following Monday and within three hours, a repair crew of Jim, Tyrone and Junior arrived. They fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes! Jim explained that the problem occurred because the original construction team had forgotten to complete a small detail. We are certain this problem won't surprise us again! Thank you, Clinton Fence, for taking care of us. We are so fortunate to have you here in Charles County.

I never knew a fence could make me so happy! We've now used George/Clinton & Bowles Fences 3 times at our house, and we have been thrilled with the results each and every time! We now have a beautiful chain link fence around our backyard, and a charming white picket fence in our front yard, and our home now feels so secure. We HIGHLY recommend this amazing company! It's clear they truly value the work they do, and want their customers to be happy.

I have attempted to contact George for the past two week and he doesn't call back. I have left voicemails and text and nothing. I wanted to install an electric gate at my home but they are not interested in my business. I do not recommend this customer service.

Scott and his crew at Clinton Fence did a fantastic job building a picket fence around our property. After receiving several quotes, we went with Clinton Fence because the price was very reasonable, and because they had done another fence on our lot that still looks great decades after it was installed. No surprise, they use superior materials in their construction. They showed up on schedule, worked fast and clean, and left a well built fence that will last for many years. Overall a good experience and good value, would recommend.

The guy that came out to give me the estimate was top notch. Would give him a 6 stars if I could. Answered everything, no pressure sales. Great price; less than I thought it would be based on on-line estimates. They were backed up for weeks giving quotes and he stopped by same day on his way home from work. The workers that came worked long, hard days; no slackers there.

I made sure I was here when they first came so I could talk to them. I don't even think they read the order; I was taking down a 20 year old fence and replacing it with one that increased the size of the back yard. If I wasn't here, they would have put the posts in the same holes. They were also supposed to raise the bottom of the pickets two inches so I could weed whack under there; didn't do that.

No communication on their end, which was a little disappointing. Never told you when they were coming or going; I thought they were "finished" but not. Didn't clean up after themselves either and left nails in the driveway. Not happy with one small section that looks a little crooked, but I am picky. To anyone else, it looks like a great; to me that one section bugs me and I will fix it myself.

All in all, I think they did a great job and would definitely use them again. Recommending them to my friend. Two suggestions I have: make sure you are there on day one when they show up and Clinton Fence should have someone come to your house after the job is done to make sure you are happy.

Clinton Fence did a fantastic job on the install in my townhouse backyard. I was pleased with their work. The pricing was fair. The only downside was they were scheduling about 2 months out from estimate date, so I had to wait, but it was so worth the wait!

I purchased a fence in March 2019. November 2019 part of my fence came apart completely on a windy morning. Although the fence is not even a year old and is still under builder warranty, the company refused to repair, stating that this was an "act of God" and that I needed to go through home owner's insurance. This is awful customer service and quality - use another provider.

After waiting 4 days for a quote, with every excuse in the book for why I had not received it the information I finally received was all wrong. Waste of time and energy. Won't be continuing with Clinton Fence.

I think this is a difficult review t ok write because I relocated, bought a very old house while sparring with my estranged husband for support. I needed things done but was really afraid my husband wouldn't pay and sure enough he didn't. Clinton Fencing was not my first choice. When I initially called my salesperson shoved me away. He said old homes were not his specialty.

But I kept with it. Enter Natalie. My face smiles because hers is the only name I remember. When we finally met I spoke frankly about finances, the need for a flexible install schedule and my patience because to ensure funding I was willing to wait until the end of work season. I live in a historical home. I had to first get permission from the appropriate rep because I needed to reinforce a very long stretch of fencing with wire and build an entry gate. Natalie endured my need to change the gate size and style to lower the price. Pronto she provided a new design (within 24 hours).

We started planning in july and the install occurred in October. No problems at all. The price was on point for me to pay a down payment and the rest one week after install. Clinton Fence billing was great about that as well. I now have the main entrance to the property mostly secure from mainstream traffic driving onto my property and doing everything from vandalism, burglary, theft, people drinking and screwing as well as throwing trash regularly.

I found someone to paint the gate and extra frencing. Now my biggest issue is USPS, Fedex and UPS delivery personnel deliberately dismantling the lower bolt of one of the gate doors, kicking, slamming and ramming the gates open. Did I mention I added cameras as well? That's for another review.

Great work/Great price! Replaced a 23 year old board on board fence, off season, with discounted price. The crew chief was truly expert, did an outstanding job and it looks better than it ever did. Cannot recommend them enough!

Clinton Fence replaced my backyard fence in May 2018. First point - they did NOT provide the fence I selected. Second point - The wood was not evenly cut on the top and does not measure up properly. Third point - on the majority of the wood posts there is dried cement. Fourth point -customer service is awful. Fence work was never scheduled, two workers just showed up.

My husband has raised these issues with Gary and Scott. Fifth point - One failed attempt was made to remove cement, my husband's phone messages are now not returned. Sixth point - Clinton Fence decal is not affixed to the fence.

Clinton Fence replaced a damaged section of my backyard fence. They did exactly what I asked. They were accurate in estimating how long a wait it would be (we had delay due to all the rain). I was especially impressed at how thoroughly they cleaned up without damaging any of my plants near the fence! All the office staff were very friendly and responsive. Finally, their price was lower than the other estimates I received. I would highly recommend them!

Horrible and frightening installation. The workers who put the fence up were unacceptably vulgar and violent and started a fight with my neighbor. If it had gone on any longer I would have called the police. Not exactly what you expect from buying a fence.

I'm a real estate developer and I have worked with many contractors, the craftsmanship from Rick and his crew was the absolute best. They built a privacy fence and stairway system with storage for our D.C. rowhouse backyard and the tight space required many additional man hours to complete. Rick is an expert in his trade and he easily custom built the unique design I requested. The photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend them!

If I could give this business Zero stars I would! George Bowles initially came to my house to give me an estimate. We agreed and started paperwork! The First problem was I had to call multiple times to speak with someone to get the color picture to send to my HOA for approval! That took a week. After receiving my paperwork I took it in person to the office and Handed it to a young man named Tony!

He assured me he would hand it over to George Bowles or Candy Robey- the financial advisor! He DIDNT! He gave it to the company secretary and guess what! George never knew it! Nobody even called me to see how I was coming along in the process so that we could schedule service! Mind you! They have my 3200 deposit! The only reason I know this is because I called 2 weeks later to see what the hold up was!

So when I call I speak to Gary! He says we are waiting on HOA approval I say NO I dropped that off 2 weeks ago. Then he says it's ordered! 2 weeks later I call to ask about scheduling again! Gary says! Oh! We've run into a problem! Our manufacturers can't get the vinyl dye so it will be another month! I am still patient and understanding at this point!

So the next morning I go to the office in person to try and speak with someone. It takes over 20 minutes for someone to come speak with me! Gary! I say. I just came so that I could speak To someone in person and get an idea of what other options I have since there are issues with my previous pick! He still deflected the fact that they had completely dropped the ball.

Well I settled with a new color that he told me was in stock and that it Could be done asap and he would call me For scheduling! Well I didn't hear from him. So I called George Bowles again and he told me he would call me with scheduling information! He left me a message saying that the 29th would be my start date! Well today is the 28th and I call today to see if we are a go for tomorrow and low and behold! STILL no start date!

Still have my money and not even trying to make the situation right! These people are SORRY! The customer service is Horrible! It's crap! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Run! And the bad part is that there is no manager to hold accountable for the shitty job they have done! ALL BAD! The

I had a fence put in by Clinton and they made the process totally painless. They were the first place in southern maryland to return my call AND show up to give me a quote on time. George was extremely helpful (no bad mouthing other companies like other reviewers experienced) and he even had the info and paperwork I needed to get approval from my HOA.

All the work was done over 2 days while I was at work so I didn't even have to take vacation days to be there. I am extremely happy with the results and the price I paid for the service. I will be using Clinton for my future porch project and I have recommended them to a friend who is equally satisfied with their service.

Beware of Saleman George Bowles. His sales strategy is to "bad mouth" His competitors with negative business practices and character assassination. I cancelled a verbal agreement within 24 hours of initial site visit and requested return of deposit check. After 3 days of no response from Mr. Bowles, I notified His office that I was reporting Him to the Better Business Bureau.

Thirty minutes later, He's shows up at My home with deposit check. He referred to competitor as "a snake in the grass". In My opinion that title is applicable to Mr. Bowles.

We hired them in 2008 to replace our fence. Good service and price. We hired them to do our windows in 2010. The windows are good, but the installation left much to be desired. Caulk around the windows came off within a couple of months, cracked drywall and shoddy caulking on the inside, also a couple of windows are slightly drafty and the mechanism to invert the window to clean it constantly comes loose causing the window to flip onto you (both caused by having the windows poorly measured). 3 years later we are still finding issues. Today I found a gap - see picture!
