For 16 years I had great experiences with Christie Door serving both my business locations. Recently, I asked them to replace my garage doors in Marion. From my first conversation to the estimate to the technicians installation I have was not let down. Thanks for consistently exceeding customer expectations!

We got a quote in late October/early November 2021 for them to install an existing door that we had. They came out quickly and had numbers back quickly too. However, things didn't go well after that. The person who gave us the quote no longer worked there when I accepted the quote via email (signed it). I got transferred to another person to work with (The VP of the company, Steve Rogers) but it took the several weeks to get back to me.
He returned one email out of several that I sent but never solidified anything. I then started to call the company. On the first call, they asked who I was working with and said they would have Steve Rogers call me back. He did a few days later and said the job would be completed before Christmas 2021-but it was not. In fact, they did not contact me to give me an update on the job timeline-no communication at all.
I called back and sent more emails after the New Year-but no communication. Finally, after posting this review, The VP and Manager (Brandon) reached out to me but they had two different responses. The Manager said they could not do the job because they could not get the right parts. The VP said they would have the job done the next week. I confirmed with the Manager that they could not get parts for the door I already had so the job could not be completed.
I am giving one star because the communication was horrible (took them over 2 months to tell me they could not do the job). I also have a signed agreement to have them do the work but they won't uphold it. I understand if they cannot get new parts for my existing door but they could have told me that sooner. I was told they could only get new door orders in but that it would take several months.
You would think they could at least offer a new door install at a discount-but no, they did not. I would suggest they clean up their customer communication and internal communication with each other. There needs to be a system to track these things otherwise the customer feels ignored and disrespected.

These guys rock! Great company that lives up to their great reputation! They just fixed what I thought was unfixable with my garage door.in an hour. It's even working better and smoother than it was! The techs even took the time to walk me through preventative maintenance as well to make sure the issue didn't happen again. Highly recommend for repair, maintenance and any replacements.
