Had new vinyl fence put in. Looks great and all work done in one day. Very happy with work done

We got a few quotes for vinyl fencing but this company had the best price for us. Louis was very professional from beginning to end as well as the office staff being responsive to all my questions and I had lots. They did the fencing in 1.5 days and they did a great job cleaning up and very friendly crew. I would highly recommend Top of The Trade to family and friends (and I don't say that lightly as I am very picky) and I look forward to hiring them for future work.

Louis and his team did a phenomenal job on my 3 windows and 2 doors. Very prompt, professional and cleaned up during and after really well. Highly recommend.

We enlisted Top of the Trades to install a back door in a previously empty doorway. Every aspect of the service exceeded expectations! The office was incredibly communicative and helpful both in getting the quote, ironing out the details, and arranging the installation (all of which was done through Yelp). The installation guys were friendly, explained the process clearly, efficient (despite complications like the doorway being crooked), and tidy. And we're very pleased with the end result! We'll be using Top of the Trades again soon to replace our front door.

I had 3 windows installed. Good quality and fast install but will only give 2 stars as I still have yet to receive my window screens and it's been over 3 months since windows installed. I was given the excuse of "supply issues" but no alternate solutions were given. A window screen company could get me windows screens that day. Overall would not recommend. Update: Louis (owner) called me directly to apologize and remedy the situation.

I appreciate the apology but it should never take a negative review to bring up an issue. I will add two stars because they were really responsive (Monica from their office) and the work done was great. Hopefully I'll receive my screens soon. If you're looking for windows I'd stay away from Milgard, I'm sure you can find the same or better quality with another manufacturer.

Louis and his team did great work - our house is over 100 years old and there's not a level surface in the whole place! However, you wouldn't know from how well the doors were installed and how great they look. Also, Monica in their office was fantastic - she kept in contact and really apprised me of how long things would take (which was longer than normal because of supply chain issues even though I live 2 miles from all the supply coming in to the port of LB/LA).

We even found a small dent in one of the door knobs and Louis made sure to come back and replace it - basically said he would make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I can be picky, but I have ZERO COMPLAINTS about Top of the Trades. We had three extremely old security doors and 3 entry doors replaced - total 6 (no old photos posted since they were just ugly).

I asked around 10 companies for estimates and a few never really got back to me, and one was double what Louis and Top of the Trades quoted. Louis and Monica kept in contact and did a fantastic job. The doors and installation were reasonable for my old house and I think they look fantastic.

We just had Top of the Trades complete a job at our house yesterday and we are beyond satisfied. From the moment we started the process until the completion, everyone from the office staff to the installers went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will absolutely use Top of the Trades again in the future and we highly recommend them to anyone doing home improvements.

Great customer service! I usually do my research before hiring anyone for home improvements but since this was something I needed right away I got the first name that I googled. I'm so glad I did! They went above and beyond with helping me. Especially Monica she was the one who helped me every step of the way with ordering my door and with HOA and their nitpicking.

She even gave me her cell number so I can contact her directly with all my questions. This entire process wouldn't have gone as smooth without the help of Monica. I had to have the firemen break down my door so they left a hole on the inside on the wall. Well when Louis and his team from Top of the Trades came to install my front door it took about 2.5 hours and they even patched up my wall!

I didn't even ask them to do that. They left my door better then before. They weather stripped it and it's more secure. They were so nice and left me with a small paint jar to do touch ups if I needed to. If I ever need any other home improvements I know who to call. I had Top of The Trades install a new front door. Not only was the price very reasonable, but the time frame from beginning to end was fantastic. I actually thought it would take months to complete. The new front door looks great and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything was to my liking before they left. They left the area clean and hauled away the old door. I would definitely recommend them if you're in the market for a new door.

His level of experience and professionalism is to be commended, especially during such difficult times businesses are facing. I called Top of the Trades Home Remodels because we needed to replace a broken exterior side door- sooner than later. When I called I spoke with Monica- who was professional and nice. She set up an appointment that week. The owner, Louis, came on time on the date scheduled. Prior to his arrival, Monica texted me his ETA. I also received a text from Louis telling me his approximate time of arrival. Louis introduced himself, gave us his business card and started measuring.

We had two other estimates and he was the only one who said he could work with our existing frame. Because of knowledge and explanation to us, we hired him. Louis and a helper came again on time, in a clean utility van with his company's logo. They removed and installed the door within an hour. We are very happy with the quality and service of Louis and his company. We would use them again and highly recommend them!

We purchased 2 doors from Top of the Trades. The quality of the doors are excellent. The prices are fair. The people that we worked with were real professionals and very nice as well. I highly recommend this company and their team.

They came over quick to do a free estimate. Answered all my questions and was confident and kind and funny. Seemed to have good attention from the office and they even answered messages off hours. Had a weird door size cuz it's old and they found it and gave a decent price. Came out and arrived early and went out of their way to make sure the door worked perfect even though we found out that the townhouse had settled through the years and the frame was no longer level.

They made all the necessary adjustments on the door, self closing hinges (didn't have it before), deadbolt, doorknob, and the striker plates. He explained everything he was doing and made sure the knob worked perfect before leaving. I recommended to my neighbor that walked by and will also for my inlaws that need work.

An outstanding experience, start to finish. While another contractor attempted to charge us an outrageous amount for a door replacement, Louis & Co. gave us a reasonable estimate, got the door, and installed it perfectly with zero hassles or problems. Sometimes it seems impossible to find someone to get a job done in Los Angeles, but Louis made it all look easy. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Had the team install a new master bedroom door. They were very responsive to my Yelp message to request a quote. They provided a quote very quickly and stayed true to the price they quoted. The technician came by in a day to check the area and provide feedback. They were able to install the doors in a couple days (based on the date I was available). I received text updates as to their arrival times. The technicians were very friendly and on time. The work was fast, clean, and professional. Highly recommend to anyone!

I want to give a should out to Top of the Trades who did an incredible job for my property even though I was out of state. They remodeled my whole home with new windows and doors along with a patio cover and deck. We are very happy with Top of the Trades and highly recommend them to anyone. We recently bought a hundred-year-old house with a couple of non-standard-sized doors that needed full replacement of the slabs, frames, and an exterior door threshold. One of them was way off standard sizes and was improperly attached to the structure. A few contractors had seen the site and simply said they couldn't do it - and we didn't have confidence in any of the others who didn't bother coming to see the situation first. Louis from Top Of The Trades came out and fully assessed the situation, understood why it would be difficult but knew he could do it.

The company ordered the doors for us, they came in within 2 weeks (super fast given all the materials shortages), and scheduled the installation right away. Louis and Elvis came out and in a short time we finally had some new custom doors with a custom exterior threshold! Great company, everyone was friendly to work with, and prices were reasonable.

Top of the Trades was great every step of the way. They went above and beyond to get the doors in a timely manner and did an amazing job with installation. We love our new security doors and will definitely work with Top of the Trades again.

Years ago I purchased my beautiful entry door from Top of the Trades and I was so impressed with their work, that I decided to purchase windows and a patio door by Milgard. I was so happy with their prices and everyone was a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this company!

Top of the Trades replaced all of my windows with new double paned vinyl windows. This upgrade has not only made my home more energy efficient but it has also improved the aesthetics. The installers were very professional, they answered all my questions, showed me how to operate and maintain the windows and most importantly left the place cleaner than when they arrived.
