To start off during my interview Dirk the GM had concerns about my frequent job history. I explained in my 20s I tried different areas to see where I excelled, due to managing a National circuit race team 2004-2009, earning Rookie of the Year followed by a Championship. We are the only team in NMRO/USHRA history to accomplish such a feat, and I am the youngest Crew Chief to start or earn either/both awards.
This caused me to need to spend time after school learning about myself. I was told one starting pay, given another lower one, then verified with another NEW coworker that had LESS experience, they were making what I was promised ORIGINALLY. Dirk sold me on a "career" only to be trained by new employees themselves (1-2 months) and to be put in a position where I learned NOTHING new, and would have a LONG wait to earn more or move up.
I was scammed like a used car buyer. After being lied to, in my first 2 weeks I was harassed 3 times by an acting lead who knew NOTHING about me or my work ethic (race team results and 4.0 GPA shows enough to me), injured due to KNOWN BROKEN EQUIPMENT WITH NO SAFETY GUARDS, INSULTED by hearing my supervisor say "if you pay attention it shouldn't matter". YOU use a broken 80psi staple machine one handed on a 6 ft box! Also, the 1 ton lift for heavy materials doesnt work, the forklift has levers and gauges not working, and of course I'll receive NO compensation for my FIRST EVER broken bone/work injury. Finally, I was lied to about turning my medical records in.
I can verify the person place and time I habded my documents over, and he himself denies this event took place. ITS MY BROKEN HAND NOT YOURS! I KNOW MY FACTS! Neglectful and careless company, willing to put workers in harms way to save a buck, as welk as lie to employees and absolutely dismal communication. THANKS MADICO FOR THE VROKEN BONE, THE LIES, HARASSMENT, AND CARELESSNESS WITH EQUIPMENT! I WISH I COUKD SUE THIS NEGLIGENT COMPANY! PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEES BEWARE OF DIRK!

So sad all the money put into the grounds & the facility only to send business offshore it was a great place to work for a lot of people for a long time - it's just a shame I could never figure out why they moved to Florida in the first place where the lenses didn't work but they employed really good people from the top down that's rare. it's just too bad
