We offer top-of-the-line solar window screens, custommade for residences, businesses, apartments, condos, and mobile homes. Our energy-saving products will improve air-conditioning efficiency, cool your home by up to 15 degrees, and save you money. Solar window screens reduce the glare and heat absorption that frequently plagues Texas households. Even if you haven't noticed it, heat entering through unshielded windows is making your air conditioner work overtime. Your energy bill will prove it. Solar Protection Screens will buffer your energy costs-but more than that, they are a brilliant investment for any homeowner.
Services
Electric utility companies and the federal government have both recognized that windows are the main source of heat gain in the summer, responsible for as much as 56% of the cooling costs of your home. The most effective way of preventing this heat gain is by shading the windows and doors before the sun's UV-Rays meet the glass.
Its exterior shading fabric is made of strong, vinyl-coated polyester, and it's pet-resistant. SunTex is also mildew- and fade-resistant, and needs only an occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. SunTex 95, engineered for exterior roller shade applications, is a full basket-weave vinyl-coated polyester fabric that is thinner and lighter than traditional SunTex.
There are a lot of great advantages to getting solar screens in Austin. First and formost, you will be saving money. Second, you will be more comfortable in your own home. Third, your carpets and furniture will be better preserved, since they won't be in the direct light of the sun. These are just the top three reasons to buy from the best solar protection screen companies, but it's just a taste of benefits you'll experience.

The quality of the screens seems good, however the service was poor to unsatisfactory. During installation a window was cracked by the installer. Measurements were taken and was assured it would be taken care of quickly. After several months had to call four times over two weeks to get a call back. Next call I got was from The Hartford, their insurance company.
Instead of someone coming to take care of it, we had to get estimates and submit claim, wasting our time. The final straw was having to get a release notarized, which Hartford initially refused to pay to reimburse us for. In all, a less than positive experience. There are several good glass companies locally, including the one that is fixing our window, that install window screens. I'd recommend looking at one of them.
