Built Right Renovations

If i could give less than 1 star i would. When finishing our basement, we were told a licensed electrician would come in and inspect their work. they told us they would handle it and that by the time our basement is finished it would be to code with no problems. After further investigating ( after the whole basement is finished) we have found that the ceiling in our basement is the biggest fire hazard on the block. Wires EVERYWHERE, dead and live wires.

Several Junction Boxes were put in for no reason. Cutting into the ceiling beams to run wires through. Not drilling a hole for the wire but full on hacking away at the ceiling beams. there is no smoke detector or C02 sensor ( which we specifically asked to be installed). I will be posting photos of our basement and how much it will cost. Do not go here for your renovations. not only the wiring that is terrible, but the basement as a whole was not finished.

Floor molding not meeting each other, random holes in the walls that they tried to cover up. bathroom fan not 3 feet from shower. when asked why they were using the bathroom on the side of our house, Roy responded " we don't let the workers we pick up use our clients bathrooms" while roy himself and his immediate crew were using our bathrooms inside, leaving dirty fingerprints on our grey/ light pink walls that weren't even in the bathroom basement, but instead the upstairs bathroom. We caught them on our cameras PS* $4,000 to rip the ceiling down and have it inspected by a licensed electrician.

Built right was a great company to deal with from beginning, getting an estimate to completion of job the men doing the work were highly skilled and professional the materials that were used were a very high quality the job was done on schedule and fit and finish was Impeccable. I am extremely pleased. I will definitely use this company again for my next home improvement and would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about home improvement

The workers are great but the owner stopped showing up after he got paid. We asked him for a itemized bill a month ago and still haven't received it. They did a good job but left things unfinished that we paid a lot of money for.

We recently used built right for our porch railings and columns. They were a pleasure to work with, very Professional, clean, and done in one day! We Are more than happy with their work!

I have used built right at least four times, on my older home I was selling and now my new home. I would not trust another contractor, and trust me and I have been through some and sued them in court. I had a kitchen and bath renovation in the old home, and getting ready to do it again in my new home. I have never been failed once working with Roy and his crew. Professional, quality work, and honest.

They are knowlegable, and very informative, especially when it comes to gutting, and making modern changes, updating electric, floor sanding, and even lighting. These are the reasons why I use them over and over again.

I had a old wood deck that needed to be replaced and I couldn't find a company that I felt comfortable working with and who also gave a reasonable price. Then I found Builtright. I am extremely happy with my new Fiberon deck and shed. The team was professional, affordable, and responsive. They even hung a gutter that fell and fixed a fence door that was hard to open. I really appreciate the work and I will use them again in the future
