I called overhead to come repair one of my doors that was dragging when closing. Del came on time, was professional and the price for the maintenance was fair. It was a good experience.

Great same day service to replace 4 springs on 2 doors. One spring had broken and the others were over 20 years old and getting rusty. I called some other independent shops and they were, in my opinion, crooks. Others wanted to charge $40 to come out and look and then give me a quote and not refund the $40 if I gave them the job. What a sham. Overhead Door told me a price over the phone for the parts and properly set expectations on labor time and rate.

The job was done quicker than I expected and the cost was appropriate for the work done. Well below others. Save your time and wallet, just call these guys. Good job Overhead!

Car was trapped in garage as a result of broken springs on an old, heavy garage door. Overhead Door of Boston came out on Easter Sunday (yes, you read that right) to investigate and help get door open. Door was made operational a day later (today) until new door can be ordered. Great company and service!

Our experience from planning to installation was excellent. Our sales rep Fred White helped us design an overhead door to fit a custom space and was very thorough with placement of the windows and hardware. Our overhead door was delivered on schedule and the installer, Brett Kennedy, was polite and patient as I asked him to let me see the windows in a few different postitions. Called Kevin to price my Job with 4 New openers, plus remotes. There prices were the best! Kevin was quick on proposal, Installer was prompt, professional and took his time after working till 6.30 pm to demo everything and program our cars! Not sure why people find any fault with these guys? Give them an A+ for all category's.

We were referred to Overhead Door Co. of Boston by our contractor. Since June we have been trying to work with them. On July 10th we finally received an estimate and paid a deposit for our 2 new garage doors. The company Rep. Scott Moses, told us it would be 4 weeks to get the garage doors, then we could arrange installation. It is Oct. 27th and after repeated calls to the office, no one is calling us back as promised. I am guessing they just cashed the check and thought we would forget about it. Don't use this company. Now we will need to figure out how to get a refund of our money!

Made an appointment with sales, stayed home form to work to wait, the sales person came spend 20 minutes asking questions and taking measurements, and then I never heard from them at all. If this is how they treat potential customers then I would never actually do business with them.

They stand by their product, even when it's wrong. We ordered a rather expensive large custom door but somehow the order form was incorrectly filled out by the salesman. The door that arrived had the wrong style windows but we didn't notice at first and had it painted as was required before installation. After installation, when we noticed the error, they replaced the window portion at their expense - removing the section, adding a replacement block to keep weather out, shipping it back to California, shipping the new one back, and re-installing it.

They including re-priming and re-painting that section. A year later when it wasn't closing smoothly, they came out right away and fired it no charge. While it wasn't always easy to deal with them, the stuff that really mattered was top shelf. The door is beautiful, the installation is professional, and the after sale service is comprehensive. I would recommend them to others.

We couldn't be happier with our new garage doors and openers. Our neighbors are jealous of how quietly they open. Sales manager John Davis was a pleasure to work with and the installers did a great job. They arrived exactly when they said they would and did neat clean work. I would highly recommend Overhead Door to anyone looking for new doors.

I phoned parts. The mail box is full. I tried service, the automated response was we are on other calls leave a message or dial zero. I dialed zero it did not work. I phoned a third time and got the operator. She stated the parts guy was out and the service manager was taking his place, but was in the warehouse and would I like to speak to him as she would get him. After a wait I was transferred to his voice mail. I left a message for a call back which has not happened. Check out all the reviews, then use someone else.
