Marc was an excellent and very responsive communicator throughout the entire process! His pricing is fair and competitive and, as promised, there were no surprises from his end. His crew was thorough, professional and meticulous. We had all of the windows in our 1948 home (and 1960s addition) replaced at once. I get pretty anxious about having work done in our home, but Marc listened well, allayed my concerns and followed through on all of his commitments to us.

We were 100% satisfied with the professional installation of windows and doors done by Highland Window Company in our 100 year old home. Because it was such a large project, we carefully examined their work along with other companies in the area and collected competitive quotes. We were impressed with the number of positive reviews on Google and Angie's list and found that their personal attention, knowledge and pricing beat the other companies we evaluated.
We are happy to report they came to do the job in the specified time frame, their installers were top notch, they did everything they said they would do and more and making sure their client is happy with the work is a priority for them. They also contracted with us to install gutters and that was a success as well. We highly recommend this company.

Marc has been very responsive and timely from start to finish. Really appreciate Marc's help with getting the requisite info ready to submit for the Energize CT rebate program. He and his installation team are true professionals. Very happy with our replacement windows and have already been recommending Highland to friends. Update: Just had our old basement windows replaced. Same level of service and craftsmanship as before. What a difference in the comfort level of the room. Should've done these with the first go around!

Last year, after they had previously replaced some of our windows, Highland came back to replace our siding. They did a beautiful job. Our house looks so much better and we think will have a higher resale value. Our heating costs were lower last winter with the insulation they added. The crew was fast, careful, pleasant, well-organized and neat and the owner, Marc Cowan, was a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend them.

Marc and his crew were phenomenal. Marc was so responsive and professional during the initial consultation and he stayed in touch once the order was placed. His crew showed up and got the 12 window installation done in 1 day. They were very clean and polite. Marc was flexible with payment and has continued to be kind and accessible even after the job was done. I don't think I've ever had a better customer service experience when dealing with home renovation or repair!

I can't rave enough about the amazing job Marc and his team did. Down-to-earth, quick, professional, and detailed - they really took care of my home. Highland Window just completed installation of replacement windows throughout our entire home. The house was custom built in 1971 and all windows had to be custom ordered due to their shape and size. I had several quotes before choosing Highland including a couple of companies that seemed intimidated by the job. Marc was great to work with, honest, responsive, and checked in frequently during the process.
His crew cleaned up after themselves daily, and the job was well done. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work. I'm also very particular and rarely provide a 5 star review.

Picked up a flier from Highland Windows at a home show and then used them for siding and windows in Spring 2010. The personal service and quality of work was exceptional. Since then, Mark has responded to any and every call that I've made over the years, if there was a broken seal he came and reordered the window at no cost and installed it himself.
Recently he sent a guy over to finish the trim on my front door, not even a job done by his company, but within his services. We have had Highland Window Company do work in our home a couple of times. The first install they did for us was a tricky one where we had to replace a huge living room window that was original to the 1950's home. Marc, the owner spent time with me going over all the options to fill the space. For me the most important detail was to keep the "big" window feel of the original. Marc came up with the perfect solution and in reality upgraded the functionality of the space (now we have side windows that really open and close.).
A couple of years later we decided to upgrade all the 1950's windows around the house and once again Highland Window was our go to vendor and installers. As someone who has grown up in the world of home construction and remodeling I appreciate that the Highland Window team is beyond courteous, respectful of the space they are working in, and when they finish they leave the space clean. We recommend Highland Window Company to all of our friends and our family.
