We hired Sideco to remove our existing siding and replace with hardie board, paint, add on a front portico and install new exterior doors. Jimmy and his entire team were amazing to work with! Everyone on the crew is very skilled in their craft, with great attention to detail. Sideco has a specialist on staff to address and improve every area of your home.
We were especially impressed with their timeliness and how efficiently they work as a team! During the process, many of our neighbors complimented how quickly they worked and how clean they kept the work space, packing up and cleaning up each day. Everyone on staff is so nice and gracious to work with, making sure the homeowner is happy and updated on progress and plans each day. Sideco excels in customer service! Highly Recommend! If you want quality windows and doors with professional installation then you want Sideco! Replaced our old construction grade vinyl windows for some Marvin Signature Wood windows and added a beautiful front door and the whole house has changed. My wife and I love it and can't say enough positive things from the planning, installation, painting, to the cleanup. After the wonderful experience we had with Sideco on our windows, we were most excited at the thought of replacing our deck. Despite our best effort to keep the old wooden deck refinished, over the years it had taken a pretty good beating from the elements. Having a maintenance-free deck, using TimberTech, was quite appealing. We had a vision for what we wanted, but never thought our expectations would be so thoroughly exceeded!
From the day Jon and Ethan Ward showed up, until the project was complete, their dedication to doing a quality job was evident in their workmanship. Their attention to detail made it feel as if they were doing these improvements to their own home. They earned our complete trust and we enjoyed their company so much it was bittersweet when the project was over.
This must have something to do with the culture and work ethic at Sideco. As different workers came on and off the job, they consistently demonstrated the same dedication and "pride of ownership" in the work they were doing. They extended the roof so we would have a covered area and did such an incredible job tying it in to our current roof, it looks like it has always been there.
They replaced all the vinyl siding on the back of the house with James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding. The tongue-in-groove ceiling and infrared heaters really set it apart. It is absolutely gorgeous. During the process, they found some areas where water had seeped behind the vinyl siding on the chimney and caused some serious water damage. Our confidence in them was bolstered even further as they assured us of their experience and showed us how they would fix the damage.
They also installed a moisture barrier to prevent this from happening in the future. To top the project off, they added a cooking area which includes a one-piece concrete counter top with a built-in smoker, cedar facing on the cabinets and plenty of access to electricity. Like many people, we're spending much more time at home these days. Because of Sideco, it's doesn't feel like home. We contracted Sideco to remove Dryvit and replace with James Hardie Siding, plus open the back wall for a large sliding glass door, add new windows, remove old windows, and build a new front and back deck. We were absolutely blown away by their attention to detail, professionalism, craftsmanship, and ability to handle the complex problems that were found behind the Dryvit.
The whole team was fantastic and we were sad to see them go! The team's knowledge and experience guided us every step of the way with color choices, siding patterns, and other little suggestions that really gave our house the charm and appeal that we were looking for. They had excellent site management, they were friendly, and the final project is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined.

Jimmy and Mary Russell's company is a great company. They replaced the siding and a few windows on our house about 3 years ago. We just had them to replace some more windows this last week. Brent, Pat, Tom, Aleave and Adela were such a pleasure. Always on time and such wonderful attitudes, and they did a great job. This was my parents' house, so it's incredibly important to me. I took a long time deciding what company would do the kind of quality job I'd hoped for; did a lot of research into companies to do my total exterior refurbishment, replace the sliding door and build me the bay window I've always wanted. I chose Sideco. The right choice, for sure. These guys are TERRIFIC!
They know their craft. They communicate. They care about the job they do--I know everybody claims that, but these folks do. It was a long trip for them, but they coordinated beautifully. I look forward to working with them to replace the rest of my windows. I'll recommend them without reservation.

Tearing off the walls of your house is probably the most dramatic and serious renovation you can do to your home. All the more important, then, to hire a company that you can *trust*. Not the cheapest company. Not the company with the slickest sales pitch. But the company that will take care of what is your most important investment and place in your life - your home.
That is exactly what Sideco did: they took care of us by taking good care of our home. Their attention to detail is unmatched, as confirmed by Jimmy's (the owner) walking us through every step of the re-siding process, and Anthony's (the construction manager) willingness to listen to every concern, question, and idea my wife and I had. I was incredibly impressed by how professional this company is, from the dumpster and delivery of all the materials to their trucks and trailers with custom logos.
The men start bright and early and work until sun-down, and ensure that the site is completely clean at the end of every day. It is quite the operation when you have 8 or so men working away on the exterior of your home. We had cedar siding on house, part of which they reused as an accent in our entryway. The smooth James Hardie board and batton looks so good, and with the zip board behind it, our house is now rock solid and going to last for a long, long time. Thank you, Sideco, for the good work and the peace of mind you have given my family!
