Action Garage Door

I didn't three stars I didn't buy anything from them. But the lady I spoke to was very polite and informative so that's why I gave three stars and the other reason I gave them three stars is because they don't sell to the public I think that's total hogwash but that's my personal opinion. They don't sell the garage spring to the public and that's what I was looking for.

But there's other online companies that will sell it to you with a disclaimer. I've been in construction for 20 years I know what those springs can do and I know they can kill you if you're not careful. I would have been willing to sign it disclaimer saying just that. And release them of all liability but I don't understand why they still can sell me one I'll get it their business sell me what I need

Awesome experience with these guys. WILL came out literally within the hour my garage door broke- and fixed it and showed me exactly how to avoid any future issues. Very nice guy to come out like that and super nice. 10/10

Action has the best service and they really went above and beyond for me today. The front office girl, (Bailey I think?) is very sweet and helpful, you can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and it shows! The technicians are fantastic as well, and I will forever be a customer

Action replaced my garage door 7 years ago. Looks good but it squeals like a witch being boiled in oil (my brother's description) when you raise or lower it - anytime of the year. A spring broke this week - no big deal. I called them; they have no record of me being a customer. This is Wednesday and the soonest they can get here is Monday despite the fact I can't even lift the garage door and my car is stuck inside.

They can bump me up and come today during normal business hours but I will have to pay a $180 emergency fee. Called Overhead Door; they are coming at noon and no "emergency" fee.

A friend had a estimator come to the house because people tend to take advantage of disabled and Seniors, because when we tried to lift the door everything went to heck. I am disabled and have been ill for a while and have been unable to clean up the mess after I was stolen from. The estimator comments were unnecessary, unkind, and disrespectful.

Action Garage Door gave excellent service to me in my "garage door crisis". When I called their office I was assured they could service my needed repair. "Lonnie" came to my home and "did his magic"! He had a great sense of humor and was obviously an expert in his field. I am very appreciative for such wonderful service from Lonnie and Action Garage Door Co. I will certainly be recommending this company to my friends and neighbors.

We purchased our house in May 2021, Action came out and installed our garage doors and openers. Did an excellent job! A couple months later I shut the garage and it came off the tracks, we called action and Will was out less than a hour and fixed it in no time! Definitely 5 stars! Thank you Action!

We've had some small repairs to our garage door done with Action Garage a few times and have always been happy. We'd had two large home repairs done in the last few years that did NOT go well (not with Action Garage Door but with other companies) so when it came time to fully replace our garage door we were nervous doing another big project. The entire Action Garage staff was polite, professional, and most importantly to me communicated with me about timing and stuck with what they said!

The entire process was easy, handled professionally, and at a great price. I highly recommend Action Garage Door if you need repairs or a full replacement. They were fantastic and I'll be a lifelong customer of theirs!

Lonnie came out to our house within 30 mins of us calling Action Garage Door to fix the spring that had broken. He fixed it fast and even gave us tips on how to maintain our garage door in the future. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and provided excellent customer service. Had been fighting with an archaic opening and key pad system for years - finally had enough! Great customer service from the gal at the front desk, (sorry, didn't get name), Jeremy the estimator and Brad Installation. So appreciate Brad's patience working in crowded space and and old junky system. Action was punctual, courteous and they definitely get my service stars. Thank you.

Will, just came by and took care of our issue. A quick fix and very professional. If I could do more than 5 stars I would. Very appreciative of the job Will did. I will definitely be dealing with Action Garage Door from here on out.

Lonnie came out to fix our warped and broken garage door (we had tried to fix it ourselves after hitting it with our car and only made it worse)! He fixed it despite its terrible condition in a fast but methodical manner. He saved us SO much money and never tried to take advantage by up-selling us anything. How rare is that? He is also super friendly and funny! We HIGHLY recommend Action Garage Door, and we will continue to give them our business!

We recently purchased a home that has 3 garage doors on the main home and 4 RV garage doors on the shop plus an additional standard door on the back. The original owners spent a fortune on garage doors through Action Garage doors. The home is currently 1.5 years old. After moving in and getting settled I realized the gaps at the bottom of the garage doors were really large.

Large enough that a mouse or frog can come right in without any issues. After further looking at the doors, I realized every single door was installed poorly, there are gaps in the sides, the bow out, the trim is cut way too short etc. I called Action and asked if they would come take a look since it was clearly a poor install and should be corrected.

They were quick to let me know the warranty is only 1 year, and that anything they would do would have a fee. I was a bit shocked, but asked they come look and give us a quote. (At this point I also call The Garage Door store, who had just installed 3 custom doors in our prior home last year) I thought if I am going to pay anyone to fix the work it wouldn't be the guys that installed it incorrectly but I would still have them come take a look and see what they say.

My garage door guy came out on a Thursday a couple weeks ago and said all the springs need tightened, all the seals need Re-done, and we agreed that the install was very poorly done. Action came out Friday. Their guy showed up in a truck that was leaking oil, and parked in our driveway of our me home, kicking a piece of cardboard underneath to hopefully catch any oil spills.

Then started to take a look, again also saying it was very poorly installed and should not be like this but also not willing to negotiate on the cost for their terrible work. After walking out of the shop and over to the garage to look at more of the terrible work, my husband realized his cardboard he had under the truck wasn't catching the oil leaking and got him a new piece.

So now I have garage doors that suck, and oil spills in my driveway. We called to talk to a a manger thinking no way anyone would want a review like this. 2 weeks later, not a single call back. In my opinion if they can't fix their terrible install 6 months out of "warranty" and they can't afford to maintain their vehicles, they clearly don't have their priorities in line.

I recommend you call The Garage Door store instead. They are incredible and handle things in a much more professional manner, the installs are done correctly and you won't end up with mice or frogs in your garage or shop!
