We were looking to replace our existing deck as well as adding a full bath to our basement. After interviewing several companies, we decided to use Champion based on their professionalism, ideal suggestions, and well known quality.

Deck replacement: The workers did a very good job; they completed the work removing the old deck and building the new one in less than twelve hours. I couldn't believe that the job will be completed in one day. There are Neighbours asking who build my deck? And I'm giving them your information, and they want the same workers.

Placed a claim with American home shield for roof leak coverage. The contract provides that they will make repairs or at their option pay $1500 in lieu of repairs When I filed the claim, they assigned champion to inspect and make needed repairs. In a conversation with the champion representative before the scheduled inspection, which champion canceled and rescheduled a week later, I told the representative that the crew would not be able to make any repairs because I had an older cedar shake roof and cost of repairs were going to be astronomical Despite what I told the representative, champion sent a crew of four people to look at my roof.

Their entire visit lasted less than 25 minutes and before the work truck had pulled out of my driveway I had a call from Champion saying that they could do no repairs because of the condition of my roof but that they would do a roof replacement and would work with the home warranty company to make sure the contract payout was applied to the replacement.

This was after the roof inspector had already told me that they could replace the whole roof in the first five minutes that he was at my house. I told Champion that I would have to investigate my options and I would consider their estimate, But that I would like them just to relay information about the repairs to the home warranty company so that I could get the $1500 towards the repairs In a later call with a champion representative they told me that they would provide the information to the home warranty company so that the home warranty company would provide them a check that they could put towards the roof replacement.

I told them that I wanted to get the check so that I could decide who I wanted to have to repairs or a replacement if that was possible I then got an email from the home warranty company saying that in addition to the $100 I had already spent for the trip to inspect my roof, they would deduct $400 from the payout amount to pay champion for their time doing the inspection.

When I called the home warranty company, they told me that the champion report mentioned that repairs would cost $1600 and would be needed to repair a leak in my dining room. I don't have a leak in my dining room and no champion representative ever set foot in my dining room. Seems unethical to me when the home warranty company assigns an inspection company without ever telling you what the inspection company is going to charge if they do not do repairs or get your business for an upsell - and Champion does not disclose charges and sends out however many people they want for the inspection.

I have never heard back from Champion regarding an estimate for repairing the roof and it seems like the objective may have been to either sell me a brand new roof and have the home warranty company contribute towards that or charge me $400 for their 25-minute inspection on top of the $100 inspection fee i already paid to the home warranty company.

It seems like the company has good reviews for work that they do, but I would be concerned in the future about how they would handle situations when there is a chance they will not be selected to do extensive repairs or replacement

I had my drywall repaired by Champion after they repaired my roof. They did a great job in a timely fashion. I am very happy with their service.

Had a great experience for roof repairs and replacing some rotting wood trim. Was able to talk to someone on my first call. They quickly came out to inspect and provide a reasonable estimate. They were able to start work quickly and did an excellent job. Plan to use them again.

As a result of a home burglary, I needed to replace my sliding doors ASAP. It became an opportunity to upgrade what I had to something more energy efficient and I decided to also add a gate to the doors. Champion was very quick to present me with various options within my budget and they went above and beyond in providing additional features and tips for security and safety.

They put in a temporary seal to secure my broken doors at no charge while the new doors were on getting ordered. The installation was seamless and quick. I would definitely consider Champion again for their other services as well.

Critical: Quality They were hired to repair roof leaks. I don't believe any of the repairs made were successful as we are experiencing leaks in all the same exact places less than 8 weeks later.
