As an elderly, single woman, working with Durant was a nice experience. They were dressed appropriately, on time and cordial each and every appointment. They held to their contract on time frame, materials, work to expect and finished product. They left me with a beautiful deck and not one iota of the original deck remaining. The deck is well built, very sound and a major enhancement to my property.
The team I had was stellar. I would work with them again without pause. It was the least stressful of any improvement I have ever undertaken in my 45 years of owning homes. All I had to do was collaborate on design, make the property available and write the check. Thank you Durant!

Durante Home Exteriors, installers Robert Coleman and Mike, installed an exterior door at my home. They both were very professional and detailed in their work (delivery, install, repair, and clean up). I am completely satisfied with the work performed from start to finish. The entire team (the production manager, the installers, and the owner who did the final walkthrough) were extremely responsive, attentive, and professional. Job well done!

This review is for the consultation IE I have not used their services yet. Mr. Tom Scott came out and was thorough and honest. He looked to see if I even needed to do the renovation (the windows I have now are new. its a long story) and upon inspection told me that they are in good shape and I am ok to keep the ones I have. He is friendly, easy to work with, and most importantly HONEST.
He explained the timeline and the ordering process. I am not a window expert and rely on people like him to tell me everything from a to z and he did an awesome job. I am grateful so far.

Edit: 2 months later, we noticed a huge dip in our deck. It's so uneven that it's a tripping hazard. We contacted Durante and were told "let's wait a month to see if it gets worse." It's now been another 2 months and we have no indication from the company when they will fix it. The boards are so bowed that we are not comfortable walking on it. We spent over $30K on this deck and are EXTREMELY disappointed. Considering legal action if this is not rectified.
Definitely not cheap, but the product and service is top-notch quality, making it well worth the price. They were very responsive every step of the way and seemed genuinely concerned about making sure we were satisfied. We had a deck completely torn down and re-built. They even built a custom staircase off the deck that I wanted and was everything I dreamed it would be!

We hired Durante to remove our old deck and build a new deck in its place. They did a wonderful job! From the first meeting with Sales, to the crew coming to the house to do the work and the follow up after completion, we could not have asked for a better experience. The crew that came out was very helpful in answering questions we had during the process and they had great workmanship. We would recommend Durante in a heartbeat.

We chose Durante to install our Pergola. We are very happy with the quality of the pergola. This has added value to our home and has helped us enjoy our patio! Ray was our builder and he was VERY professional and built our project as if it were his own. He was meticulous about doing things well and was meticulous when he left the site. He was a hard worker-no stopping for long breaks or down time despite working on several of the hottest days of the season!
He was a tremendous worker! Our contractor kept us informed on each and every level so we knew when our materials would arrive and what the next step would be. We love our new pergola! We especially appreciate the professional manner in which we were treated. It felt as if we were partners in this project and the customer service quality matched the quality of our finished product. We are indeed Durante champions and would highly recommend them. When they are ready for new brochures, we are ready to feature our new pergola in their advertising!

If you are going to do business with durante as far as having a deck built, I highly recommend that everything they promise you verbally is written in the contract along with a contractual date they are to have it finished by. We were told they were going to use "Yellawood" & "grade 1" wood. They used the excuse that the wood went through the same treatment as "Yellawood" and then they told me that the"grade 2-prime" wood they used was simply a "grade 1"that had been cut smaller.
I felt so disrespected to think they would honestly lie i called the lumber yard and was informed that grade 2 prime was still a grade 2 but better however not a "grade 1". To say the least I have up and just wanted them done. When it got time for the walk through out was delayed because they started another job claiming we put them behind when they 1st: mounted the deck in wrong spot, 2:had to move deck out to place flashing they weren't going to put up, and 3: did not appropriately have deck stable and one side fell a couple feet. Wouldn't use again and would not recommend them.
