We had a cracked window in the kitchen and had Empire come out to replace it. They actually broke out the window inside and outside of the house. I thought they must have a really good shop vac to suck up all the glass. After they left I ran my roomba vacuum and then went to wipe down the window seal and put everything back into place. On my way to the kitchen I noticed a piece of glass that was across the room from the window that the room a had missed.
I got a paper towel to wipe the seal and then I noticed glass everywhere. In the window frame on the island and throw rugs by the dog door and back door. I vacuumed but some very tiny thin slices weren't coming out. If you look at the picture of the glass on the table you can see one of those glass flakes that are really hard to pick up. My husband took the rugs outside away from the house and beat them while wearing safety glasses and there was still a few fine shards I had to pick out by hand.
Then he went outside and found a handful of glass on the ground below the window. I have grandchildren toddling around and this really sucks. I've had a window replaced before and it was nothing like this. I paid $453 for the replacement which included $140 labor. I spent a lot longer trying to clean their mess than they did making it. Don't waste your money on this place! Horrible service with the exception of the girl I spoke to scheduling the appointment.

They're very friendly - that's the good news. In fact, we decided to take our car here because they were very nice on the phone and a little bit less expensive than other glass shops in town. But the first time they installed our windshield they didn't use enough glue to set the front windshield and there was a whistling sound coming through the window every time I went faster than 25 mph.
The installer also somehow managed to get their black-tar glue all over the interior of our car. They didn't actually clean the tar, I asked them for wipes to clean the car and eventually they helped me clean it in their parking lot. I had to come back for them to reset the glass which took several hours and ultimately was a net loss of time/money.
I ended up taking another vehicle to Safelite in downtown Spokane and although they are a little more expensive it was totally worth it. Bottom line: if you're making your decision based on price just remember that you get what you pay for.

Helped us save a bundle! By talking through our residential window repair job over the phone, we realized we could easily remove the window and bring it into their shop, reducing the cost by over half! (Since they then didn't need to drive out twice for our particular repair.) I love the honestly and consideration reflected in that great customer service.

These guys are awesome and honest. We called around to get quotes for a broken window. Empire Glass came out and gave us a quote, the quote was very fair so we went with them. They came out and replaced the window and when they were done they informed us it didn't take as long as expected and lowered the price. Meanwhile their Spokane competitors (won't name names) still have not returned our call to come out and give us a quote. These guys rock!

I had compiled many projects that included glass or mirror since moving into out new home. I found empire glass on yelp. I had a difficult mirror project that they confidently took on. Their prices were great and they were easy to find. Thankful to have all my projects completed so quickly. Will definitely use them if I have any more projects.

My wife and I had to get a piece of glass for my son's garage, thanks to my handy work. We went to Empire Glass at the time because it was convenient for us, however we were welcomed and received what I would consider excellent customer service. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you.

Ok, this place is the best! Their prices are the best anywhere, cuz Ive called around before Ive had anything done and Empire is ALWAYS the best price. The windows are always beautiful and scratch free every time. Ive had 3 windows replaced here and I will b coming here for the rest of my life. Im actually headed over again for this stupid rock chip I just got.
The front desk lady is super sweet & helps me feel comfortable. This place makes me feel valued not like an annoyance. Because no one should feel bad for buying something. So I go here, now I won't get that mean attitude like I get other places.

When we went to Tune Tech, we were quoted an outrageous price for fixing my front windows on my 2000 Ford Explorer. Empire did it for less than a third of the price, and even saved us extra money by letting us know we didn't need a new regulator and motor. I will genuinely go to these guys for all of my window needs as long as I live in Spokane. Incredibly grateful!

Extremely poor workmanship, would not recommend for installation. We experienced a break in over the weekend at our business, and Empire had a great initial response by coming out and securing our entrance door with a temporary wood panel. However, that is where the positive experience ended. The replacement glass had a huge flaw, and it took Empire almost a month to offer a discount or replacement.
When it was replaced, the workmanship was terrible. This was the main entrance door to our sales location, and the installer left out many screws, others were installed at an angle or not screwed in all the way, and the silicone was the wrong color and smeared all over the door frame and glass. The technician Empire sent out to fix it worked on the silicone for over an hour before finally admitting he couldn't clean it properly without removing the door and replacing the glass (which of course he didn't).
The technician returned the next day to replace the screws that were missing or installed incorrectly. He used the wrong type of screws and left without replacing all of the missing screws or even cleaning his hand prints from all over the door! When we spoke with Empire's office staff we were told Kevin would come out and take care of the remaining issues, but we didn't receive a visit or follow up phone call from anyone. Definitely do not recommend if you want a quality installation.

Had a large bird fly through and break window (very large, double pane, modified A frame, upper floor) at my lake cabin. Called Empire and they were at the cabin within 2 hours to remove the glass and seal the window. Replacement was done in 7 days. Without a doubt, this is the best all around service I've received from any business in the Spokane area. In this day when often you don't get a return call, it is refreshing to know there are still businesses that care about the customer. Bill C

I wish I had checked Yelp before I stopped in to have a small chip in my windshield repaired. When they were finished I said it didn't look repaired and they said it was normal for it to look that way and that the fill was solid and would definitely last. Well it lasted alright - but only less than a month. Now it's spreading. And the worst part is that when I called to see about getting them to refund the over $50 I had paid for the job they said they would not refund but would credit that amount toward them replacing the windshield.
And so I have this to say to them: You people couldn't manage to repair a small chip and you think I'm going to pay you to do my entire windshield? RIGHT! You're dreaming. Go ahead and keep my money - based on your reviews you're going to need it more than me.

I took my car here to get a window replaced because the price seemed competitive. I ended up paying in the end. I ended up having to make an extra trip as the window was not installed correctly and was making a ton of noise from air leaking in. They came out try again but still the issue never got resolved. Now I have to pay someone else to do this correctly. My advice. Find another company to do your glass work.

Ok above and beyond the call of duty, this is what business's in spokane or anywhere should do. I had my business broken into at 3:30 am and called Empire at 6:15 expecting an answering machine.but no I got one of the owners who actually acted like she cared and within 15 minutes they showed up took measurements and had us up and going before we even opened.good job.awesome Dave P North side business owner

I had a break in at my store and while they were quick to come board up my window, I less than happy with their services. I suspect since there was an insurance claim, I may have been gouged a bit. $1200 for a window? Granted, it's pretty big and double-paned, but only one of my panes of glass was broken to begin with and "couldn't be reused." About a month later, the window cracked across one corner.
I pulled off the trim and the cracks went from one spacer-block to another leading me (and my buildings maintenance guy) to believe it was a bad install. It took multiple phone calls to get one of their people to come look at it (they're a block away) and they kept passing the buck. Eventually they just ignored my phone calls and refused to do anything at all. They don't stand behind their products, and they'd rather avoid confrontation than keep their name in good standing. Bad company. Baaaaad company.
