In order to pass Maine's motor vehicle inspection, cars with window film applied to the driver and/or passenger window must have a valid tint certificate proving that said windows measure 35% or higher VLT (Visible Light Transmittance). If you have tinted windows, but no certificate - you need a tint inspection so that we can issue you one.
Professionally installed Llumar Window Films come with a lifetime warranty against cracking, peeling, adhesive failure and demetallizing. Some restrictions and limitations apply. Chris is outstanding! He came and chose the best tint for my home and needs! He stands behind his work with a lifetime guarantee and is so personable. There are those who only know Windows by Anderson, but I would look no further than here. When and if I move from the area I'm in Maine I would call upon him again. He said he would even come to New Hampshire if that's where I end up moving.

Chris is a true pro. Had a tough job for him but he was totally game and approached it as a challenge. He delivered and then some. Quality of work is great! He really spent the time walking us through our options and what might be best for our needs. He didn't try to "sell" us on anything and in fact steered us away from some more expensive options that he clearly could've made more from. Absolutely professional, high-quality work. Very highly recommended.

I bought a new car a couple of weeks back and the first thing I like to do is get the windows tinted. I messaged Portland Tint Inc on a Saturday - which they are closed and I was surprised to receive a message back within 10ish minutes. There was an appointment available that Monday so I took it. Dropping my car off was easy and quick. I picked it up about two hours later.
Pick up was just as easy, they took payment, explained the warranty of the tint, what to do over the next few days and I was done! The tint itself was done perfectly and the people who work there are very nice and definitely know what they are doing! 10/10 Recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service and quality work. These guys really helped me out with the illegal tint on my two front windows - I bought my car down in Texas and it wouldn't pass Maine's inspection once I got up here. I brought my work laptop with me and was even able to do some work in their gorgeous waiting room. I was in and out in under an hour. Seems like a true local family business, and I will be recommending them to anyone who will listen. Solid people doing solid work!

Amanda at Portland Tint is professional, informative and made me feel that I completely understood what my options were. She was able to accommodate me by giving me an appointment within a week. She was fine with me relaxing in their comfortable waiting area during my appointment. Chris did an incredible job, my car looks amazing! I called a few days after with a follow-up question for Amanda about cleaning the windows and she took the time to answer all my questions and gave clear instructions.
