Super easy process! We got the film samples via mail and a good explanation of how to understand their differences. We gave approximate measurements and it was a cost efficient solution that allows us to filter the UV, get wonderful light and enjoy the view. We had considered a lot of different window treatments and this solution was perfect for us. The installation was professional and on time. Honestly cannot tell we have film on the window-but glad we have the UV protection for our floors and furniture.

Our door is always very hot so we have to put in the tinted films to block the heat from the sun, Jasen the installer from Carolina Solar control were very professional and careful installing the films to our doors and windows, so far the quality and looks are above our expectations. We would put a grade A+++, we will schedule another appointment for more tinted windows.

We had some solar film installed recently. The process was easy. They dropped off samples for us and explained the benefits of each kind and made a recommendation based on our desired outcome. Prices are on par with other companies but their customer service is really great.

They were extremely courteous on the phone and offered to come measure or allowed me to take my own measurements due to the Corona virus pandemic. I sent my measurements in and received a quote within 24 hours. We arranged a date and time and they were prompt and courteous. The installers were fantastic being both professional and knowledgeable. We are delighted with the results and would recommend Carolina solar films to our friends and family.

Very pleased with our new window film! Everything was so fast and easy from scheduling them to come out, the estimate and installation. We had ugly curtains on both window panes next to the front door and now they look beautiful and no one can see in. Cannot recommend this company enough! We will be using them again for sure.

I have a big corner window that looks out on a pretty wooded area. Carolina Solar Control installed a 3M Film on my windows to block the sun's glare without making the room dark. It also helps to keep the room easier to air-condition and to maintain an even temperature. Everything was done in a timely manner and cleaned up well.

I had the 3M Prestige 70 installed on three windows in a home office, and I'm very satisfied with it. It's virtually invisible, which is what I wanted. Everyone involved (estimate, and installation) was helpful, professional, and friendly. If you're looking for home window tinting, I would recommend them.

I needed to beef up my front door since it has built in glass and also gain some privacy. The installer showed up on time and got everything done within 30 minutes. The film looks very good and provides security and privacy.

Jeff was very rude to me after they installed the window tint it was not as they described it to be. I was told it would reduce heat and glare and it did not. I tried contacting them and they never responded. I filed a dispute with the credit card to get my money back for a window tint that did not match what I was told it would do. He accused me of not wanting to pay even to the point of saying I was stealing from him.

He offered no solutions to help fix the problem, only solutions that would cost me more money. Even threatened to turn me over to a collection agency, for a window tint that did not do what they stated. Do not use this company. I would have been happy if the tint did what they described it to be before they installed it, but it didn't.

Very professional organization. They were on time and finished promptly. I have asked for a quote for more work. That says it all. The 3M film makes a noticeable reduction in the temperature under the windows to which it was applied. The film is virtually invisible as well.

I called Carolina Solar after being told by a Town of Cary inspector that we needed safety glass or film on an existing window above a tub area. Unlike the first place I called, Carolina Solar knew exactly what was needed AND they had a lower minimum home visit charge. Not only did I get an appointment scheduled promptly but the service man actually called to see if he could arrive early! The film is nice and smooth, not really noticeable.except for the sticker that will assure the ToC that we have done our due diligence when he returns.

I am writing to recommend Carolina Solar Control. We needed to do something about our west-facing cathedral windows before it became too hot. We contacted Carolina Solar Control and Susan Burke sent us recommendations and an estimate based on our measurements and confirmed all of this when she came by our house. An installation date was easily scheduled and installer Larry did an excellent job of applying the film to our windows. We noticed an immediate reduction in heat and glare from these windows and could not be more pleased with the product and service provided by Carolina Solar Control.

CSC provided warranty replacement for window film on 3 of 10 window panels done in 1997 by now defunct company along with additional application to a 4th window. Provider was called and I provided warranty information from manufacturer along with work order number. Owner came within the same week to photo warranty windows and measure along with providing quote for additional installation to be performed.

Service Tech returned to provide installation service on the following week. He arrived promptly, provided replacement services very quickly and professionally and cleaned up the area prior to leaving. Both the business owner and service tech were friendly and professional and additional window cost was fair. Would use these folks again for any additional needs regarding window film application.

Love the privacy the window film provides. The installer was professional and amazingly quick. Great work. Office staff and sales reps were helpful. Found them at a recent Home Show and they actually had better pricing with better quality film (3M) than Budget Blinds which I've used in the past.

The whole process: sales consultation, installation and performance have been better than we expected. Everyone was prompt, on time and quite knowledgeable. 3M Premium Product has really reduced the heat buildup in our south facing breakfast area and thereby, the rest of our home. We dragged our feet a little and they followed up after a week or so via email, very professionally and not pushy at all.
