Quality Window & Doors

These windows are beautiful. We spent A LOT of time with Cliff selecting various types of windows- awnings, picture and fixed and slider doors of different sizes. Cliff is extremely well versed on his product and able to explain all the details. Customer support and dealing with minor issues- a small crack on the plastic on a side of a slider, one door not moving as easily, ensuring the screens didn't slide back and forth across a large span was above and beyond. Bonnie, Wayne and John were friendly and easy to work with. We are looking forward to the energy efficiency and beauty of these windows over many years.

When buying replacement windows, the most important factor is the quality of installation and service. QWD heard what I wanted, avoided high-pressure sales tactics, and then delivered what they promised, on the schedule they gave me. Their communication throughout the project was excellent.

Quick, courteous, and professional service! They found quick solutions to logistic issues around the house, and left the place as clean as they found it. Our home is over 100 years old and we could clearly feel a difference as soon as the installation was complete. We are loving the new windows and doors!

After meeting at our house and then at the upshowroom, we were clear that we wanted full screens because we have and dislike some windows with pins. We were told that full screens, no pins, were standard. Stan, our sales person, demonstrated how they work. The windows are great, the installers were very good, BUT the half screens are not what was discussed.

When we contacted Stan, we learned that the proposal that both sides signed said "full screens" but the contract, also signed by both sides, said "half". Honestly, we missed that in large part because Stan emphasized that full screens "are standard." We read document 1, the proposal with full screens carefully and the quickly signed document 2, the contract.

The company is blaming us entirely. It feels like bait and switch to us. A good sales person would have been sure that both documents they sent to the client were in agreement. Our sales person said he was sorry, told us that the error is our full responsibility, and sent an invoice. We expected the company and sales person to at least offer to share the cost difference or give a discount since their paper work was the root of the problem. Update: after some time the district manager contacted us and offered a discount of new full window screens, albeit with pins. We look forward to their installation. We can't emphasize enough that the windows are great and our house is staying A LOT warmer.

Mike Steckle was our salesperson, and he was straightforward and kept his hand on the job the whole way through including after completion. He is definitely the man to call for new windows. The install team did a fantastic job on a challenging replacement for a 200 year old house, and they were very polite and careful to keep our house clean. The new Infinity windows are so much quieter, and keep our house so much warmer it's amazing. It's hard to make an investment like this in replacing windows, but this certainly felt well worth it.

We called Quality Window & Door Inc, the company that installed our windows 7 years ago, because we had a window where the top part of a double-hung window would slide down and another window with a screen that was loose. Chris came to inspect the windows. He kept us posted regarding his arrival and arrived right on time. He fixed both windows and checked all others and made adjustments as necessary. He was very friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommend Quality Window & Door for new windows as well as any required maintenance or repairs.

In 2020 we did a complete home remodel and selected Quality for the majority of our wood window replacements and all of our exterior doors. Overall their weathershield products are top notch. With regard to customer service: Jared King -hard worker, diligent in finding cost savings and alternatives. Chris - Excellent customer service skills. Very helpful in exploring warranty items.

A true professional. John Poulos - regrettably he went back on his word when it came to honoring an item that was up to expectations. Ultimately we can to an understanding, but after much back and forth.

Working with Quality Window and Door was great. Mike Steckel was very communicative and explained everything to us in perfect detail.
